Always a winner

My husband and I always try to have dinner at Jiko while we are at Disney. The ambience is amazing and the wood is wonderful. The different types of food are always a wonder to try.

My daughter and I went for dinner one evening while visiting Walt Disney World. We were staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village so getting there was a quick shuttle ride. The decor is lovely and the staff very good. We were seated and proceeded to review the menu. We decided on two appetizers, the Crispy Duck Bobotie Roll with... More

We booked a dinner reservation for Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 7:20 p.m., on January 1, 2016. We arrived right around 7:20 p.m. and were sat within 5 minutes. We went to this restaurant after touring Animal Kingdom for the day. The park closed at 6:30 p.m. and we hoped on a Disney Bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge right around... More

I dined here alone and would most definitely recommend this place to solo travelers. They sat me at the counter, or the cooking place (which is what Jiko means). I had a lovely chat with a woman from Zimbabwe working there as a station chef, and I enjoyed watching them put together salads, cheese platters and making flatbreads in the... More

From the starter bread to the dessert, every dish was unique and full of flavor. The best meal we had in Orlando! Fine dining, pricy but worth every penny. With hints of spices like cardamum and cumin the blend of flavors was outstanding. Bold flavors and unique craft cocktails. Highly recommended for people who appreciate unique food.

We are a family of foodies and restaurant workers, eating in the hotel isn't normally something we do but this time I sure am glad we did! The food was amazing, fresh flavourful and in theme with the hotel but in an authentic way. The service was wonderful, I wish remembered the servers name because she did stand out among... More

One of the best restaurants anywhere, and number 1 or 2 in Disney World. First class food, service and ambiance. The scallops and short ribs were memorable. Pricey, but worth it.

Beautiful decor, excellent and friendly staff ---- meats were cooked to perfection. Bold flavors with diverse choices from land and sea. I had to drag two family members there who are not adventurous eaters. They were frightened when they read the menu but quickly changed their tune after sampling the wild boar appetizer...awesome! I'm not a big fan of most... More
