Jiko's. It is my favorite restaurant, but I admit that dining is slow so don't go here when your're in a rush. I love the filet mignon with mac n cheese and red wine. It's not officially on the menu, but it's so popular that they still make it if you ask. The flatbread is wonderful and this is where... More

We don't like to ride buses when it's possible to avoid them, and The Animal Kingdom Lodge is off the beaten path. Therefore, at 1800, we asked the Bay Lake Tower Concierge to secure a cab which we took to Animal Kingdom Lodge (30) for dinner at Jiko. Though we had requested to sit at The Cooking Place, it had... This is a very good place to eat and is perhaps my favorite restaurant on property. There is only one problem it is located inside Animal Kingdom lodge which takes precious time away from the parks. If you were staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge it would not really be a problem. It would definitely be recommend That you try... More

I will say that the food here is tasty. I ordered the piri-piri Shrimp for an appetizer and the garam masala scallops for my main. Both arrived at my table lukewarm. It was clearly evident that my food had been sitting on the over pass too long before being brought over to me. I mentioned this to our server Alfredo... More

This was the last place we dined before our vacation ended. We had spent the day at Animal Kingdom and had to rush somewhat to get to the restaurant. Our extraordinary server must have sensed that we were a bit harried, so the first thing she presented us with were hot towels to wipe our faces. I don't know if... More

From start to finish, this was a meal to remember. Food was beautifully presented and exhibited such unique flavors. Service was impeccable. Well worth the expense and the travel time the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Loved exploring the grounds of the Lodge before dinner -- it was a really neat experience to be so close to giraffes. Two glasses of wine,... More

We recently ate a dinner meal at Jiko. We like to try new foods and had heard (and read on TripAdvisor) some good things about Jiko. The restaurant is in a fairly quiet location in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is downstairs near Boma and the exit to the pool area. The atmosphere is African themed. The lighting and colors... More

Had a lovely meal, African foods mainly and all meals we had where delicious. The flatbread was tasty and portions easily enough for two to three people. The children's steak portion was delicious but very generous in its portion. We where a big party to accommodate 8 adults & 3 children but we didn't fell pushed aside or intrusive on... More

Food is amazing, try something outside your comfort zone. We honestly thought we would have hated it but the apps we got were amazing! Everything they have here will be just as good!
