Wild boar, elk, rabbit, scallops, perch ... great menu. So, your first impression is that this is nice, not overly stated. But, then the menu grabs you. We got the charcuterie, which was amazing. Then, the elk and the scallops. Wow! My 10 year old got the mac and cheese, but ended up eating half of the elk. The little... More

Great food, great quality and service. Ate here twice during our short stay because it was so delicious. Hubby loved the meats. Wish I could get the Malva dessert at home.

Jiko continues to deliver great food in a great atmosphere. Situated at the lower level of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, this restaurant features African inspired courses and a wide range of South African wines. They just added Wagayu beef and my wife had it. The flavors exploded in the mouth. I tasted it and would fight someone who would try... More

Unlike most Disney restaurants the cooking place is quiet ,romantic, and sophisticated. The service was excellent, knowledge, available but not intrusive. That is essential as the menu might need some translation into regular "eating language ". We started with an African bread (interesting) followed by fish for my wife and Peri Peri chicken for me. The fish was pronounced excellent as was... More

Hands down if you are in Disney World, just adults (or with adult kids), this is the place you do not want to miss. This food was divine, the server amazing, and the dessert to die for! This is not a 'cheap eats' place and well worth every penny (dollar) spent!!

We ate here the last night of our vacation and it was a highlight. We started with a Bread Service appetizer which had several different types of sauces and breads. Delicious. The server convinced us to try the beet salad which was better than I thought since I am usually not a fan of beets. It was mild and had... More

We selected this upscale restaurant for our first night at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We arrived at our reservation time of 18:00 to find the place about 20% full. We were greeted by our server from Morocco, Omar who possessed an excellent professional presence and knowledge. We had a white wine for the wife and a draft beer for myself.... More

This was such a delight that we ate dinner here two nights in a row. The menu is inventive and interesting. Our servers both nights were very attentive. In fact, the first night was so yummy that even our kids (9, 7, and 3) asked to go back. Highly recommend the lamb tagine.

Jiko is worth the trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge. The food is delicious, has some unusual options, and service is top notch. I started with the cheese board and salad. The cheeses were tasty and well presented, while the salad was fresh and well dressed. My entree was the lamb shank. Overall it was good, but the portion was immense.... More
