My husband and I did the South African wine tasting offered on Wed afternoon and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The sommelier speaking about the wines was funny and engaging. She encouraged questions and participation. I liked the 3 wines we tasted and really enjoyed the cheeses presented with it too. This is definitely something I would do again and worth... More

We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary here. Service was very attentive, gracious, helpful and efficient. We were thrilled with the filet and scallop dinners we ordered. We were given an anniversary dessert with coffee. Couldn't have asked for more or better. Not cheap, but worth it!

The food and atmosphere here is first class. You have to trek to the animal kingdom lodge but if you haven't seen the lodge it's part of the fun. It's pricey but you will not be disappointed. We had an excellent waiter, Mounir, who knew every item on the menu and made suggestions that did not disappoint. We all cleaned... More

My husband and I went to Jiko for our anniversary dinner. Jiko is an upscale restaurant that serves unique African inspired dishes. The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. I had the short ribs and they were DELICIOUS! My husband had the pork shank and it was very tasty as well. If you are looking for a nice... More

When we entered the animal Kingdom Lodge we were awestruck by the beauty of the building. Everywhere we look with a feast for the eyes and we were not disappointed to find the same thing through when we entered the restaurant. Although we had made the reservations online they did not seem to be able to find them but they... More

Great food, but if i had the choice between Boma's or Jiko - go to Bomas. There is alot more variety at Boma's.

I have to say I expected more, and I really did, but I do appreciate the vegetarian options, the attentive service, the FABULOUS (and strong) drinks, the good wine list, and the ambiance very much. It is located RIGHT NEXT to another dining area that is somewhat of a zoo, but once you are inside Jiko you are on another... More

Two Grannies found a place at the very special counter after returning from Epcot during a sudden rainstorm. We were not able to get reservations anywhere in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge where we were staying with the family and were so happy to be accommodated at Jika where the chefs explained what they were cooking and African origin. Although we... More

My husband and I had the opportunity to enjoy a 10-day visit to Disney with the deluxe dining plan, that was a lot of restaurants. We enjoyed Jiko on our first night, I believe it was the best meal of our visit. We arrived & looked around at the decor; it was explained to us that it was intended to... More

I simply have one word about Jiko and that is amazing. We had this booked originally, opted to change and then when attending at Boma on the Saturday night of our holiday walked over to see what was like inside and after talking to the manager who was very friendly we booked it for the Tuesday night when we were...
