I genuinely loved Jiko - not compared to Disney dining, but as someone who lives in a very foodie neighborhood in a very foodie city (Chicago). Jiko was delicious, gracious, and memorable. It's just enough of an adventure for the less adventurous (my dining companion), but not boring for someone who is no stranger to African cooking (me). Definitely worth... More

Had some appetizers at the bar here. WIld Boar is off the charts good. Highly recommend this place for the food quality and for a different kind of food than the average nice restaurant.

I've been to this Jiko restaurant in Animal Kingdom's Lodge for dinner, and I have to say the food is really delicious. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The plates are good to see too and the staff was very kind. The setting is elegant. Due to the quality they provide, the prices are expensive, it was the most... More

Amazing. Delicious. Not to be missed. Even if you don't have an adventurous palate, the incredible staff will help you navigate the menu. Every mouthful was fantastic and the presentation of each dish beautiful.

A bit pricey but excellent food with a north African-Middle Eastern theme. Very attentive service and interesting wine list. Excellent attention to special diets...in our case gluten free.

As a first timer at Disney, sitting at home in minus degree weather I thought African food would warm me up, you have to book ahead of time. Here I am at Disney and to my surprise and delight the place I picked was Jiko. The food was outstanding; the staff, absolutely amazing (I'm talking about Sheree our waitress). I... More

Wild boar, elk, rabbit, scallops, perch ... great menu. So, your first impression is that this is nice, not overly stated. But, then the menu grabs you. We got the charcuterie, which was amazing. Then, the elk and the scallops. Wow! My 10 year old got the mac and cheese, but ended up eating half of the elk. The little... More

Great food, great quality and service. Ate here twice during our short stay because it was so delicious. Hubby loved the meats. Wish I could get the Malva dessert at home.

Jiko continues to deliver great food in a great atmosphere. Situated at the lower level of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, this restaurant features African inspired courses and a wide range of South African wines. They just added Wagayu beef and my wife had it. The flavors exploded in the mouth. I tasted it and would fight someone who would try... More

Unlike most Disney restaurants the cooking place is quiet ,romantic, and sophisticated. The service was excellent, knowledge, available but not intrusive. That is essential as the menu might need some translation into regular "eating language ". We started with an African bread (interesting) followed by fish for my wife and Peri Peri chicken for me. The fish was pronounced excellent as was... More
