We had a 15 mi ute wait time which wasn’t long after seeing some of the other reviews. It had been a last minute reservation that day so we didn’t really know what to expect. We were a party of 6 and 3 had starters....More

I am a little bemused by some peoples experience here. I can only assume they are the unlucky minority. We have always been seated very promptly. As for the service, well again, maybe some people just do NOT understand the 50s vibe. In this modern...More

Was really looking forward to this place and had booked a dining reservation when our 180 days came with Disney. The decor is really nice and fits the theme. Our waitress was very good and kept to the theme of 1950’s. The food was served...More

'Ello chaps! 50's Prime Time Cafe is a throwback restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Waiters take on the role of cousins, aunts and and uncles, and ma is the cook in the kitchen. It's a cool, kitchy vibe of a restaurant, but when it gets...More

I had eaten here years ago and enjoyed the experience of being in a 50's kitchen with mom or dad. The theme lost it luster this last trip. Our server didn't act the part and the whole meal experience was just okay

Had a dinner reservation here (we were here years ago & enjoyed it) and it wasn't nearly the positive experience that it used to be. We had a wait (even w/reservation) in a crowded lobby (living room like). Our waiter was wonderfully sarcastic, but when...More

Decor and theming is fabulous. Food was ok to good, however our server Michael was the star of our evening and one of the best memories we have from our whole 2 week holiday at Disney. He managed to keep 8 people laughing (including 2...More

Decor is throwback to the 50’s. Staff treats you like their your momma (no elbows on the table etc.) is a fun and playful way. Menu is varied and full of family style classics. Service is good and food comes quick. Food quality is very...More

This was actually my third time eating with my family and I am finding that it is slowly losing what made the restaurant fun. I don’t think people eat at this restaurant for the excellent fried chicken, really good meatloaf or so-so pot roast. Those...More

Not a quick service but on the dining plan as a table service. I would say one of the better table service options in the parks.

50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
