Tried this eatery while visiting disney hollywood studios. Place is packed so make reservations ahead of time like few months so you get the time you want. Fried chicken was the crowd favorite, our 7 yr old expert gave it 2 thumbs up and will be back for for next time we visit. Meatloaf was great as well, someone had... More

We (rather naively) walked into the prime time cafe hoping to get a table for two. The place was packed, with people waiting for their reservations but the wait staff helpfully offered us a seat at the bar if we didn't mind eating there. We were so glad that we did, the atmosphere sitting at the bar was great, and... More

Went here on our last night in Disney and it didn't disappoint! Food was good (fried chicken was excellent). Traveling with a family of 5 its hard to make everyone happy but they have it all from burgers to comfort food. Kids cant stop talking about this place.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a family birthday and because of fond memories of past meals. We had reservation for 12, early in the day. We were seated quickly and with no problems. Our waitress arrived to start our meal by taking drink orders. She was friendly and efficient. After drinks, she took our meal order. She managed... More

Enjoyed the interior decor along with relishing the excellent fare. The long wait was enjoyable too, with the fine cocktail at the bar!!

We've been here a few times because the shakes are awesome (hubby loves the PB&J shake) and the food is good. The fried chicken is the best thing on the menu. I found the pot roast to be too dry. Love the atmosphere and 'mom' telling the kids to mind their manners and clean their plates.

We love the experience you get when you dine here. The 1950's vintage throwback dining experience is awesome. I actually had to stand in the corner by the fridge for not taking my elbows off the table. It is fun, great food, very good portions and well worth the wai and the price. Reservations are highly suggested!

Walking in to the Prime Time Cafe does feel a lot like walking in to your Grandmother's living room. This is a popular spot, so it tends to be packed - make sure you book a reservation. Drinks and the full menu are available at the bar in the waiting area, which comes complete with couches, familiar knick-knacks and an... More

Our group of 3 couples had reservations and were seated within 10 minutes of the reservation time. Although it was busy, we didn't feel crowded or rushed. We had heard about the wait staff and how they tease you, so we were mentally prepared and enjoyed the gentle ribbing from our waiter. We consider that part of the experience/ambiance of... More

When we arrived it was packed, grabbed a drink in the attached bar and waited. Fun atmosphere, fun staff. A lot of food! My husband had the fried chicken and that would have been enough for 2! I could not decide so I got the Sampling of moms favorites and once again, that was enough for 2! Plenty of options... More

Description
50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
