By all rights and by all descriptions, this restaurant should be better than it is! This was our second visit (we thought maybe we'd been unfair after we weren't impressed with the first), but it just didn't turn out that way. Amazingly enough, we were seated at the exact same table we'd had the first time and the service was... More

My family loves this restaurant, because the staff is great, and the theme is our favorite. My daughter was 4 when we first went there. They told her no elbows on the table, and no walkie talkies. We ate there 4 years in a row, all the way from Canada, my daughter makes us book it every year since. We... More

We don't plan a day at Disney Studios if we dont have reservations at Prime Time. A late lunch will last us right thru the rest of an active day. Dinner will be light after a full helpin of "mom's cooking" I always end up getting the sampler. everything is delicious

50's Prime Time is one of my go to restaurants at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The food is always good and the service is a hoot. The decor of the restaurant is like sitting in the Cunningham's kitchen with Mrs C herself. The fried chicken dinner is one of their signature meals and never disappoints. The servers really get into character... More

This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in all of Disney (of the 20 or so I have eaten at so far). Really good comfort food, and it is made really well. Waitresses are always fun and funny and on top of drinks and food delivery. Love eating there every visit.

This place took me back to the 50's and the food my mother made, pot roast, meat loaf, fried chicken, and mashed potatoes. Very well prepared, authentic decor, fun atmosphere.

With a walk into this restaurant, you are sent back in time to the 50s when it wasn't okay to put your elbows on the table, Mom yelled at you to eat your vegetables, and eating dinner in front of the television was a staple. The food here was delicious and my parent's favorite meal during our WDW trip. Mom... More

You are sent back in time to a 1950's family kitchen. Food is basic good fare -- fried chicken, pot roast, that sort of thing. My son got spaghetti and loved it. I had the fried chicken and ate all of it. Kids are expected to set the table. Mind your manners. Have fun here. Realize that it is all... More

The 50's Prime Time Cafe is good fun. Everyone sits in a little 50's type kitchen with a tiny TV. The staff treat you like a kid brother or sister. Some really good foods to try: Fried Herb and Garlic cheese; Fried chicken; and the pot roast. Also, do NOt miss the Peanut Butter & Jelly milkshake. It's absolutely amazing.

We love eating here! My husband always gets the fried chicken because it's so good. I chose the pot roast which was so generous and tender and I split with him so we both had chicken and the pot roast. So delicious! Our favorite restaurant at the Studios and always fun since the decor is the 50's and the food... More

Description
50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
