Santiago's Bodega presents a unique tasting experience featuring small plates that hopscotch between decadent (a warm Camembert wedge topped with sauteed garlic, onions, almonds, apricots, chopped dates, bell peppers), refreshing (yellow fin tuna, avocado, mango ceviche), exotic (lamb patties with fresh thyme, sherry, lemon zest) and just plain comfort-food-delicious (Roman meatballs on angel hair, or fried potatoes in a spicy sauce). As nothing costs over $15, there’s no major commitment, and if the relationship doesn't work, move along to the next selection. The menu’s ideal for sharing and for mixing up in endless combinations. Alternate between chevre tartlet, spanakopita, or smoked salmon…
From the moment I entered this tapas restaurant, I was transported to another world...another time...The beautiful handmade wood floors and tables, the stained glass cabinet doors at the bar, that housed both the red and white wines. Interesting Art work finished the intrigue. I love...sampling small plates, (although the servings are very generous). The beef carpaccio was one of the finest I have ever tasted, and I am a world traveler. The beef short ribs were also beyond excellent...moist, flavorful and tasty. The crusted rack of lamb was also tasty. Be sure to try some of their homemade sangria...I even bought a container of it to go. LOL Andrew, our server was knowledgable, helpful and very thoughtful. The manager Andy, stopped by our table several times to check on us. Every aspect of Santiago's Bodega is impressive.More
My husband and I came to Orlando from Michigan for a wake and to spend time with friends. Our last night in Orlando we all met at Santiago for Tapas. I got the Carpaccio and it exceeded my expectations. Not to mention the service was...perfect as well. If we go back to Orlando we will be back to Santiago.More
We went for brunch Saturday and it was simply amazing. The food quality was impeccable, the service second to none. Wish I remembered our servers name because he was excellent and made all our suggestions for what to order family style. Can't wait to go...back!! The unlimited sangria and mimosas were a huge hit!More
My husband, mom and I ate her about a week ago for a later lunch on a trip to orlando. Everything was just delicious - our absolute favorite was the basic & bacon wrapped mushrooms - my mouth is watering just writing this! We also...the saganaki, brussell sprouts, chicken skewers & beef tenderloin. Very cool vibe with amazing bites, highly recommended.More
We have the original in Key West and we have always loved it. Finally had the opportunity to visit the Orlando location and tried the brunch. I would highly recommend it. It is now served family style due to covid. I actually preferred it that...way. All the food and drinks were on point. Delicious!! I loved the snow crab and prime rib!More
There were 5 of us. Drinking draft beer on happy hour at half price was good. There were 5 -$5 happy hour appetizers and we ordered all of them. Wouldn’t order any of them again Don’t bother with the peppers or the pork rind. Instead...of sliders they substituted dumplings which were good. The mushrooms in tomato parm were good, the smoked salmon dip with crackers was average Yes tapas is small plates but when serving sizes are small the prices should be too and here they are not. See the menu on line You get only 2 or 3 pieces per order. $10 for two shrimp and chorizo skewers were good. The $10 three lamb patties were like meatballs and ok but not much flavor like was described, the amount of cucumber feta salad was disappointing Just a few little pieces of cucumber cubed and three crumbles of feta The $9 two skewers of spicy pork tenderloin were three chunks each and dry and a small portion of apple chutney with corn niblets was not nearly enough sauce to help with the dry meat. The $8.50 spanokapita were two pieces and good. The $16 beef tenderloin was one piece maybe 4oz at most and we ordered two and asked for rare but got medium. So not worth it at that price The $9 Roman meatballs were three on top of a little pasta that was ok. The cheese quesadilla $7.50 were three and ok with melted cheese and a blob of salsa on top The $7 four little squares of puff pastry were good. The croquettas were good but only two for $8.50 We had three orders of bread pudding for dessert and that was a disappointment as it was in no way traditional, the “bread” was like a dry muffin with a raisin or two on a plate and there was a little bit of liquor for syrup a table spoon of vanilla ice cream and three blueberries. Our bill was $250More
O M G!!! I cannot say enough good things about this place!! I’ve been back home for a few weeks & I still cannot stop thinking about how great the food was!!!! I went during Covid so it was a pretty laid back vibe but...I hear that’s not normally the case - it’s suppose to be a pretty live place. WARNING: The FRENCH TOAST is addicting!! I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED anyone who loves great food go here!!! I didn’t get any pictures because I was too busy eating (sorry)!More
I always heard about this place, but finally went to try and it wow am I mad that it took me so long. The food was fantastic and the service was great. It is tapas style so it is great for sharing. The food is...also brought out as it is made so it makes it that every thing is fresh. Our server Garrett was extremely friendly and gave amazing recommendations. He recommended the Mozzarella Burrata and it was amazing. Probably one of my favorite things now. I will be coming back just for that. We also got the chicken skewers, the Brussel sprouts, the saganaki, and a charcuterie board. For dessert we got the cannolis and the mini croissant donuts. We got wayyyyy to much food but it was all so good and worth. Definitely a must goMore
