While spending time with family in Orlando Florida by pure coincidence we discovered this restaurant, the name cause some curiosity since Bodega in Spanish usually means small grocery store. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. We entered were met by the host quickly sat us at the table of our choice. Full spirits menu, a variety of top of the line... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in key west.. The Orlando location was just as good.. I love the lamb patties!! And surprisingly the meatballs were also very good. Orlando has a full bar unlike key west location. Can't wait to go again

There were four of us this time. We brought another couple along who like the tapas style. Had to start with sangria but we ask for the ice on the side. The restaurant goes thru so much of this that the wine is not chilled so the ice melts almost immediately diluting the drink. Add ice as desired and it... More

I came here for a business dinner for the first time and was overwhelmed with all the amazing food. Each dish was prepared in a gourmet way. My favorite was the tenderloin tips and the spinach salad which had strawberries and bacon.

Service was excellent, they work as teams as they pass by your table. Sangria was excellent. My wife thought it was romantic. Cozy and small inside. Small shareable dishes. Will need reservations on weekends, just call ahead as you drive there to see the wait. If your starving it will take a few dishes to fill you, If you want... More

We went for the Father's Day Sunday Brunch. They give you a time slot and we had our table from 10 am to 12 pm. You can have all you can drink Sangria, Mimosa and juices. Haven't been to a brunch place in recent which offered all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Half an hour before the slot... More

The food here is tapas style and is excellent, with an extensive menu and different specials offered for the day. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Good wine list, too.

The food (especially the French toast), service and location were awesome. We ate outside on a beautiful day. Fans we're running, so we did not sweat much. Every employee was smiling, appeared to enjoy their job and checked on us regularly. Definitely exceeded my expectations!

Description
Santiago's Bodega presents a unique tasting experience featuring small plates that hopscotch between decadent (a warm Camembert wedge topped with sauteed garlic, onions, almonds, apricots, chopped dates, bell peppers), refreshing (yellow fin tuna, avocado, mango ceviche), exotic (lamb patties with fresh thyme, sherry, lemon zest) and just plain comfort-food-delicious (Roman meatballs on angel hair, or fried potatoes in a spicy sauce). As nothing costs over $15, there’s no major commitment, and if the relationship doesn't work, move along to the next selection. The menu’s ideal for sharing and for mixing up in endless combinations. Alternate between chevre tartlet, spanakopita, or smoked salmon carpaccio. Invent your own meal. Dining in such a way permits the rules of wine pairings to step aside like snooty impostors, and what goes best with dinner is exactly what tempts you. Santiago’s Bodega is a good-natured, low-key, food-lovers hangout, a neighborhood restaurant. - Margit Bisztray
