Had dinner here this evening food was amazing! Staff are very friendly and very attentive. Appitzers came out nice and fast. Dinner was amazing! Steak was cooked perfectly. Save room for dessert! Lots to choose from all of which looked amazing. Restaurant was very clean and decor was very nice

While the food was amazing, the service was horrible. We were ignored for over half an hour while we waited on our check. My toddler was a fussy mess and the server was hateful.

My husband and I decided to give a restaurant at the Polynesian a shot since we wanted to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from a location that was out of the norm (the beach was the best location!). Sushi is a favorite food for my husband, so I thought Kona Cafe was a good option. We arrived at our 8... More

This is our absolutely favorite place for breakfast at Disney world. Kona is amazing for all meals, but their pineapple macadamia pancakes are out of this world! This time our group also ordered Tonga toast and steak & eggs. We were full until well into the evening!

Great service small but excellent breakfast menu. We were a large group. Service was excellent. The breakfast items were a nice change of pace from other typical cafes. Definitely recommend.

If you want a break from the crowds, the Kona Cafe is steps from the Polynesian's monorail stop, and only about 10 minutes by monorail from the Magic Kindom. (or about a 10 minute boat ride) You can hop over, have a nice, table lunch, with solid sushi, overkill drinks (with actual alcohol) and nice basic asian fusion food, and... More

Hi ya'll, My wife and I joined my daughter and Bryan for breakfast at Kona Cafe. Located in the Southern Pacific atmosphere called the Polynesian Resort, Kona is an excellent alternative to character breakfast at other restaurants. I had Macadamia Pineapple pancakes and it did not disappoint. Covered with pineapple and filled with macadamia nuts, this was a flavorful and... More

We enjoyed lunch at the Kona Cafe on a recent trip to Disney World. We made reservations for lunch & took a nice break in the middle of a day at Magic Kingdom. We took the monorail to the Polynesian, which was fun in itself. It was also a good way to check out another resort. The service was good... More

Kona Cafe is a great place to eat. The noodle dishes are fantastic and they are very good at dealing with allergies. Be sure to book ahead as it is not always easy to walk up and get a seat.

My husband and I have been here twice for lunch and loved it. The 2 specials were the best, a chicken dish for me and steak for my husband. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Description
The Kona Cafe infuses a bit of Asian zest into traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts. Kona Cafe offers authentic Kona coffee as a perfect pairing to these pastries, or as a rich addition to any meal.
