We enjoyed breakfast at Kona Cafe. I ordered the Tonga Toast which is the amazing and filling. Kona blend coffee topped off my breakfast.

First of all, the Polynesian Resort is just a great place to visit. It is amazing! I've been to the Kona Cafe 2 times now and the service and food is excellent. Try the sushi!

It took about 10 minutes before the waitress showed up. But it was all good after that. The food portions are more than adequate and the spices used in some of the dishes have the right kick. There is only a touch of Polynesian in the menu items, so there is no need to fret if you have not liked... More

If you love french toast this version will not disappoint. Banana stuffed and coated with cinnamon sugar will delight your taste buds. The restaurant also offers omelettes pancakes and other breakfast fare but the Tonga toast is my selection every time I visit.

We ate here a few days ago for breakfast. I had heard of it on many Disney pages and websites. Heard the Tonga Toast was what to get. My husband ordered it and like it. I had the Big Kahuna (eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, two pancakes, piece of French toast, and potatoes for $13!). Bill for us totaled approximately $37.... More

We visit Kona's Cafe for a brunch meal. Service was pleasant at a high courtesy level. Our waiter Katie give us a marvelous service. Pouched eggs were delicious and French Toast with good flavor. Three service with tips included was $62.00 dollars which is very reasonable for Disney restaurants. Come to Kona's and enjoy with your family. Until my next... More

We stayed at the Polynesian so this was convenient and I was not expecting too much. I was wrong! The sushi was out of this world! I ordered one of the house drinks that is served in a pineapple and it was outstanding! I am pretty sure that I could have served as a human blow torch should anyone have... More

As with all Disney restaurants they were super helpful with my allergy, making sure the server and chef knew. I had the Asian pan noodles with tofu and it was just super. The softest tofu I have ever had and just great flavours. My server Robyn was attentive and gave great recommendations on what to eat. As with all Disney... More

Took us right on time, breakfast was served quickly and the food was exceptional. Our waitress was Rubi and offered great suggestions. Loved her. She had such a great personality and obviously loves what she does. Made our experience perfect! Can't wait to go back.

Description
The Kona Cafe infuses a bit of Asian zest into traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts. Kona Cafe offers authentic Kona coffee as a perfect pairing to these pastries, or as a rich addition to any meal.
