A Unique McDonald’s

If you eat at McDonald’s, then you’ll want to visit this location off Convention Center Drive in Orlando. It’s the biggest McDs I’ve ever seen. The atmosphere is pretty crazy. We were there at 9:30 on a Friday night and it was packed. Half of the 2nd floor is a play place complete with arcade games. It offers the usual McDs, but it also offers brick oven pizzas and desserts. Reviewers below complained that it was more expensive. I can’t tell if it’s more expensive because their printer did not print all of the numbers and letters on the right edge of our receipt. I’d say it was a little more expensive than our McDs back home, but a lot busier. (There’s never a crowd at the McDs back home.) Our food was delivered to our table warm, but they did forget the barbecue sauce we paid $.10 for and told us we had to go downstairs to the counter to get it. And the only drink station is downstairs. Go for the experience. But it’s a fun place where there are lots of families and kids.

💖The World's Biggest McDonald's Orlando💖

If you're going to DisneyWorld or Universal, check out the World's Biggest McDonald's in Orlando, Florida. This two story McDonald's is located on the intersection of 6875 Sand Lake Rd, not far from SeaWorld. When you enter the McDonald's, the first thing you will see is crowds of people ordering food. This McDonald's has a variety of food than an average McDonald's, including the -McPizza- Upstairs to the second floor of the McDonald's, you can see an enormous playground and a large arcade room. I do not recommend to play the arcade since it wastes your money on the games and the prizes are very expensive, making you buy more. The con of this McDonald's is that it can take two hours or longer to just to get your food and the McNuggets are awfully soggy. If you can't wait that long for your meal, I highly recommend to go to the near McDonald's thirty seconds away from 6875 Sand Lake Rd.

For starters the ice cream machine actually worked that is the first time that ever happend to me. Another reason it is good is because after a good day disney world if your kids beg for mcdonalds you can just go. So i think this deserves 4 stars

Worst McDonalds Ever

Went to this Macdonald’s for take away to take back to our hotel after a long day shopping. Ordered from self service machine, didn’t get our order receipt printed instead got someone else so had to go to cashier to get our receipt so we would know order to collect. Ordered: one pepperoni pizza, 2 cheeseburgers and chicken nugget meal. Pizza was given to us 20 minutes before our other food. Explained to the person at the food collection area this and asked if our pizza could be re made as by the time we had waited for the meal to take out the pizza was freezing, advised we would need to speak to manager to approve this, waited and wait no manger came anywhere near us despite me asking several times and several members of staff. Dinner cost us 42$ and most of it was cold when we got it! Have been to so many Macdonald’s worldwide and this is by far the worst I have ever been too.

Avoid This Place At All Costs!

To start, there is no where near enough parking at this location for the amount of people allowed in the establishment. We and a few other customers ended up parking across the street at the gas station. Then you enter the establishment and Holy Mother of God, talk about complete chaos and absolutely no sense of order! We had to order our food at a kiosk, because apparently McDonald's has stopped hiring enough cashiers to take your orders. After paying an insane amount of money for food (the prices are higher here for some reason) we then went seeking a table for a party of ten. This reminded me of the parking lot as we circled the establishment waiting for someone to get up from their table so we could pounce upon it and have a place to sit. As with the parking lot, there is not enough seating in the establishment for the number of people they allow to enter. Tables were finally commandeered but they were on opposite sides of the establishment and we weren't able to converse among everyone. After 20+ minutes our food order arrived and of course, we were missing food items but we had gained part of someone else's order! Enter "Dan The Man" (I swear to God that's what's on his nametag) who squealed at me, twice, "Oh no, how could this happen," which scared half of my party. To Dan's credit he went off with the part of the order we didn't make and returned rather quickly with the correct items so the other three people in our party could start eating. Oh, did I mention *everyone's* fries were cold? Gross. The chaos and complete lack of any sense of order caused two people in our party to need their anxiety medication! Never, ever again would I visit this McDonald's location!

Bad experience at McDonald's

Very disappointed. Promoted as the largest McDonald's in the world but the customer service was appalling with a wait of over an hour for our food. The meal only got served once we demanded a refund so that we could go elsewhere. Several other customers resorted to the same tactics. The large play area created an atmosphere of screaming children and intrusive loud music. We just ate what we were given, not even checking that the order was correct such was our hunger. No chance of us ever eating there again!

Easily the worst service I’ve ever had in a McDonald’s. Ordered food at the self service screens and it was delivered to the table quickly, the two people who brought the food were great. However after finishing we decided to get an ice cream so went to the desk to order- we’re given a ticket and told to wait. My boyfriends fudge sundae was made right away and left next to the ice cream machine so we were just waiting on a cone. 15 minutes pass - the restaurant is empty, there are 5 members behind the counter talking and dancing and generally ignoring people. My boyfriend then approaches one of the staff to ask about the items to which he is asked for the ticket and when he hands it over it’s snatched out his hands and then shoved back to him and is told “it’s coming”. We wait another 5 minutes and the same staff member hands us a cone and the sundae that has been left for 20 minutes and is now a fudge puddle. We asked for a spoon and the staff member genuinely looked like she wanted to burn the place down.

Easily the worst McDonald's restaurant I have visited either in the USA or in other countries

We visited the restaurant this evening (April 15th) at 7:55 and ordered at 7:58. Our food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive (despite being straightforward), was incomplete when it arrived (a burger was missing half its bun and the Happy Meal drink was missing), and the attitude from staff throughout this time was appalling. They could not have cared less that food was not being served in a timely manner, or that other customers were waiting up to an hour for their food (going so far as to call this a 'normal' wait time), and it was only after we demanded a refund that our (incomplete) food arrived. My request for details to complain was met with a dismissive "it's on the receipt". Our experience was far from unique, and was difficult to square with bigger meals arriving sooner. It was as if the computer system was being ignored and receipts printed out and dealt with in whatever order the staff felt like. Suffice it to say that I will be complaining through all available channels, that the staff are frankly abysmal (and I appreciate it is not an easy job and am usually sympathetic to retail staff) and the management appeared apathetic at best and non-existent at worst. There needs to be retraining or replacement of staff and management, and until this happens I would advise people to eat anywhere other than here. It is simply not worth the aggravation for a McDonald's meal.

Waste of a Night

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, absolute disaster of a McDonalds. It is usually busy but a manageable busy if handled appropriately, which it is not. You can order your food but don’t expect it to be quick at all. We waited over an hour for our food, no sign of service at all. Others around us had waited over an hour and a half. As we were waiting, a man who had ordered through a food delivery app had driven to the restaurant himself to complain that his order was completely wrong and missing the majority of what he requested. Only when we requested a refund did we finally get someone to prepare our order. Once it was prepared, it was incorrect and contained items we did not ask for and missing others. At this stage, we just ate what we were given as there was absolutely no chance we were going to receive what we wanted. The staff were untrained and had no idea how to manage it. There was piles of orders behind the counter not being giving out. There was only one guy giving out food, most of his time spent not doing this job but instead relaxing behind the counter as the orders piled up. Even when people questioned him, he would direct all questions towards one manager without even making an effort to answer them himself. This definitely can’t be considered fast food at this rate. Even once we received our food, it was extremely mediocre with no sauce given. You could receive food in a nice sit down restaurant much quicker and of a much better quality. Despite being the biggest McDonalds, it is the least efficient one I have ever been to. No screens to see where you order was and absolutely no way to get a refund. I’d advise anyone to stay away from here and go somewhere else until something is done to rectify the numerous issues raised. Definitely way better options in the area.

Chaotic, appalling service, an embarrassment to the franchise

Started off well with an impressive menu and an easy approach to ordering and organising of food delivery to table. After a 60min wait…one of our group received part of his order. Another 20mins passed before we enquired to a stoney faced manager who stated “it’s not ready yet!” 5 mins later a partial order arrives, all stone cold. So off we went again with a change in our approach and received the rest of our order which was piping hot as should be expected. Absolutely chaotic, staff couldn’t care less attitude. Looks cool inside but would avoid at all costs

When we were last here years ago my daughter loved it. But fast forward 6 years and the place is an utter shambles! Waited over 30 mins for food, 3 times me or my husband had to go to the counter as there were items missing. It really isn’t that hard to read a screen and check the items are on the tray before sending it out, my 3 kids could do it, but you’re paying these people right?! Not a single sorry was given! A full drink had been spilt with ice on the stairs with just a wet floor sign put over the top, if was dripping everywhere, and a law suit waiting to happen if someone slipped, it could be really nasty. I asked to speak to the manager, I say manager, a boy no older than 20 by the name of Kevin came over. He couldn’t have cared less and walked away whilst I was talking to him. Manager?! He said he’d get the cleaner to clean the mess up on the stairs, but went back to serving food so that clearly wasn’t going to happen. He wasn’t happy we wouldn’t accept his offer of free ice creams. We didn’t want anything free, just answers and better service and for people to not fall down the stairs! I’m from the UK and service, both timeliness and customer service are way better than this place! Biggest in the world? Maybe you shouldn’t rely on this title. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

In the UK you know what you're getting from a McDonald's. Relatively cheap, quick service & the food is 'okay'. Sadly couldn't really say this McDonald's in Orlando ticked any of those boxes. A long wait (over 20mins) for a small order, staff didn't seem to have a clue or be under any sort of management. Almost £30 for food that would cost under £15 in the UK & it really didn't taste very nice either. It filled a hole but I wouldn't be going back in a hurry.

50 min wait for luke warm food.

The food was standard McDonalds and my husband in particular liked his BUT it took 50 minutes to arrive at the table (with no option of a counter pick up)! Three tables around us were all waiting similar times so it wasn’t just a problem with our order. It wasn’t very busy at all so I can’t imagine the wait times at a busier time. When our food arrived it wasn’t very hot unfortunately and the ordered sauce was missing. We had to clean our own table too as these were not being done and the floor was very dirty too.

Worlds largest entertainment mcdonalds

Great for a mcdonalds. Does everything upto McDonald's standards. Their restaurants in the UK should use this as a training model. Order by app, touch screen or at the till. Correct food, cooked fresh. Very clean & hygienic. Open kitchens can see food being cooked. Has pizzas & refill drinks. Upstairs has an arcade for the kids. Well done

Justice for the vegetarians

There was no vegetarian options except some plain pasta with sauce they had no vegetarian alternatives. The staff were rude and very mouthy we went to ask about something and the lady was so rude to us and we didn’t even get the drink we ordered. I have been to tiny McDonald’s and they had a massive range of vegetarian options but absolutely nothing here I am very disappointed
