Food is good for standard. But if you ask for anything like extra spicy or a cup of vinegar, forget about it. They will send what they make period. I will spend my money on those who read my requests.

There is an all you can eat lunch buffet that is good but small. We usually get take out. Special Fried Rice made with White Rice.(you have to ask for the white rice) Quality of the food is top notch.

Good prices for the amount of food they serve. Lunch menu prices are a dollar or two less than the dinner menu prices. Friendly atmosphere.

I can't believe Cheng's has such a low rating. I think we just take this place for granted because the food is always good, they have a great variety of selections, and the service is wonderful. I have been dining at Cheng's for 20 years...now and my family just loves this place. Heck, I've watched their babies grow up and have babies!! We have ordered delivery and/or dined in for the buffet at least twice a month if not more. They are our go-to restaurant and they rarely disappoint. My son loves their sushi, I love their five spice shrimp and my husband loves just about everything except onions!! The buffet has at least 20 items on the hot bar including chicken wings, spring rolls, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, chicken nuggets, pork on a stick, sweet and sour chicken, pot stickers, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, General Tso's chicken, Bourbon chicken, black pepper chicken, Mongolian pork, beef and broccoli, shrimp with mixed veggies, 5 spice shrimp, and then mushroom soup, wonton soup, egg drop soup and they even have pan fried potatoes. They have fried donut holes, almond cookies, chocolate cake and fruit for dessert. They consistently serve hot, flavorful, wonderful dishes. Their delivery is reliable and they are very good at letting you know how long it will take to deliver. I can't say enough good things about Cheng's and their staff is awesome. Same family has run this place since I started coming here. Inside décor is beautiful with etched windows and the place is clean. Even when they are packed with people, the service is attentive and they are always coming back to check on you. You won't be disappointed coming here. The lunch buffet is every day (weekends too) between 11:00 and 2:30 and is only $6.45 - what a steal. I mean deal. Give this place some love and I guarantee they will give the love right back!!More

We've tried just about every one of their dishes over the years, and they are always of high quality. My favorite is Bourbon Chicken. My wife's favorite is Shrimp Chow Mein.

normally, my husband and i go to hop bo on conway and hoffner in another publix shopping plaza..today, we wanted to try something different. being from ny, he missed being able to enjoy the half fried chicken with pork fried rice.. and well, i love...shrimp, i wanted to try a different shrimp dish, so i ordered the 5 spice seasoned shrimp-20count w/pork fried rice.. one. the pork fried rice in BOTH of our dishes, contained no pork.. actually, nothing at all..just overcooked brown rice with some onions.. yuk. two. the 'half fried chicken' lolol... where do i begin..it wasnt even fried..it was ovenroasted, dried out, left out, cold chicken..there was no chicken on the wings..burnt out and dried... no taste.. absolutely horrible.. the skin on the chicken was ooey gooey gross... and not even edible in certain places.. three. the '5 spice seasoned shrimp' ahahahaha. what spices? it was battered and i guess deep fried, ooey gooey as well...? with a few onions and bell peppers thrown ontop of it.. no taste, no 'spices'...nothing.. horrible.. four. i ordered a florida roll (sushi?) i have never had sushi before, but because i wanted to try something different i obviously set myself up for failure.. the florida roll consisted of shrimp..ok, the first bite i took, there was the whole entact shrimp tail!!! the shell of the shrimp tail inside of the sushi roll!!! and all around smelt and tasted like nasty left out spoiling fish...but then again..i have never had sushi before, therefore i do not know what its supposed to taste like, but from the experience i had with this 'florida roll' i will definitely never try any type of 'sushi roll' again... five. also ordered 2 eggrolls.. small, over fried, hard as a rock... nothing more, nothing less.. overall, a big disappointment and a huge waste of $22.42.. very very disappointed with everything, wish i could have rated ZERO stars.. and i owe hopbo on conway and hoffner a big apology for even considering to eat chinese anywhere else on the east side of orlando.. stick with what you know. i got 'served' today.. hmmfff..More

On a recommendation, we got a takeaway from here. It was quick and delicious. And reasonably priced. The portion size was good too. We were very happy with the food.

We enjoyed a great meal at Cheng's. The restaurant offers take out, delivery and dining in options. Our menu choices were the full dinners which included soup, egg roll and fried rice. Portions were huge and delicious! Restaurant was clean, service was fast and prices...were reasonable. Area where the restaurant is located is a strip mall but the inside was decorated very nicely and clean. Serves beer and wine along with expected soft drinks. Dining in wasn't busy when we were there, however, the telephone never stopped ringing with take out orders.More

Food was barely warm, hard, dried out, over cook. Few choices on the buffet, yuk. I will never eat there again!

Try finding a GOOD chinese buffet in Orlando east...this may be as close as it gets. The small buffet was packed with many tasty selections, including three different soups. Tasty brown rice. A white rice tray that remained empty our entire stay. Two empty soup...trays that were filled just before we left. The full hot & sour was good. All items were kept nicely hot. Desert was demolished, but did not look very tempting anyway. We 4 golfers got there about 1PM -- buffet hours are 11 to 2:30, so no excuse for empty trays and slow refill even when requested several times. Since the basic food was good and price was right, $6.45, we'll try it one more time.More

I was impressed with the wide variety of vegetarian dishes here. I had the garlic eggplant. Some of the eggplant was a little undercooked, but the sauce wad outstanding. Very friendly service.

We've been ordering take-out from Cheng's for years and have never been disappointed. Ingredients are fresh, spices are just right, and service is always fast and friendly. Favorites include General Tso's chicken, lo mein and shrimp with lobster sauce. The little dessert donuts (something like...beignets) are also wonderfulMore

Very nice restaurant in not a great location. Located in the Walmart plaza very close to an active liquor store. Once inside you forget the outside. Service was very nice. Food was much better than other Chinese we have had over the years...family live in...the area and choices are limited if we stay closer to home. Combo dinners were very reasonable and very good. Pork egg foo young and pork fried rice were good and not full of salt or MSG. Others had shrimp with vegetables and Buddha's Delight (vegetarian). Egg drop soup was very salty and disappointing. Won ton soup was OK. good Chinese beer, and reasonable. Complimentary plate of fresh doughnuts for desert (in addition to fortune cookies) was a nice treat/touch. We will return and may try take out, too.More

Cheng's has been in Ocoee for many years, but it has recently had a face-lift. Also added was their Sushi bar. Now you can have a double treat - your favorite Chinese dishes and also Sushi. The restaurant is small and quaint with white table...cloths. Service is good and the food is very tasty and fresh. Their LoMein dishes are our favorites along with Happy Family - a mixture of tender veggies, shrimp, pork, chicken and beef. There are many Chinese restaurants in the area, but we think Cheng's food has the most taste. I recently served the Lo Mein at a cocktail party buffet and everyone raved about it. We love this place! Take-out available too.More
