Good food, typically priced. Most tables have a good view of the savannah which is the centre piece. Without doubt get the breads starter.

My family of four ate here on our last night at Disney World. We stayed in an Animal Kingdom Villa so we had seen the animals all week, however, this was a great view because we were ground level with the animals and many were...More

My wife wanted to go but I was a bit skeptical. Bottom line she was right and everything was Spectacular! We started by hanging outside waiting for our table and watching the animals of Africa frolicking about just outside the restaurant. The security guard was...More

Our waiter, Pedro were very useful and friendly with us. We have followed his recommendations and we were really satisfied with it. Our dishes and the paired wine, a South-African shiraz were a unique culinaric experience. In addition we could enjoy the view of giraffes...More

We were lucky and got a window seat and giraffes were 20 yards away. Food was very good and fairly priced. It’s walkable from main lodge at animal kingdom and you can also see some animals from a couple of viewing areas at the hotel.

We went at night so I honestly don't know if you could see animals from the window. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant.

It will be hot in August, but you should plan for dinner in the late evening when it is cooler and when you'll see more animals up and around. At Animal Kingdom, try to get on one of the safari rides as early in the... More
