I had dinner in this restaurant twice in three days and have left both times very satisfied with both the food and the prices; I can say their reputation is absolutely well deserved, and I would definitely recommend it. Note that booking via their site...is harder than expected, it’s best to call them. From what we have experienced the restaurant is very busy on Fridays and much less so on Sundays.More

So, this makes my second visit to Mikado. Please don't let location or appearances fool you. While located in a strip mall, the sushi is probably the best I've had, bar none. Rachel, my server on Monday, was fantastic. Attentive, but not pushy, and super...friendly. Pictures here are the Godzilla and Mango rolls. I also had a seaweed salad. Taste, presentation, and service come together for a perfect trio at Mikado. They also offer a wide variety of other dishes including Thai and hibachi style food (it's not cooked in front of you). Thanks for a great meal while on the road.More

A top notch neighborhood sushi restaurant, Mikado consistently delivers well plated, nuanced quality sashimi - several items are flown in weekly from Japan. Recent and well thought out remodeling has elevated this to a respectable business meal destination. Top Japanese restaurants in Orlando are often...not open for lunch. Mikado is the happy exception except for Sundays after 1 PM. Their menu is extensive and well worth a visit - substantial kitchen selections are also available.More

Well if you love sushi this local place is always busy. I love Katsu and this is where I go to eat Katsu and sushi. My wife loves their curry. While not a high end establishment the food is high quality and priced very well.

A very popular sushi spot in Orlando and its fame is well earned. There's a wide range of sushi rolls and other Japanese dishe. The staff is attentive and professional and, most importantly, sushi is great and the price is reasonable.

Mikado Sushi is my favorite restaurant in Orlando for the past 10 years! Tim and Rachel are like family and when I was recently thrown a bridal shower it was an easy choice on venue. Tim and Rachel hosted 25 of my closest friends and...family members to a delicious brunch. The food was artistically crafted with the freshest ingredients and as always made with true passion for food! My guests and I were treated like extended family by the Mikado team. Thank you for a wonderful memory.More

Mikado is the best Japanese restaurant in Orlando, owned and operated by Japanese chefs. They get special fishes delivered from Japan every Friday. (best day to go). If you like to try the real Japanese sushi, Mikado is your place. Can't say enough about the...staff, all the servers are great. Love this place and their food.More

The food is always delicious. The service is great. Very hard to get a table because it is a small restaurant but so worth the wait.
