A friend and I went to this local restaurant around 815 pm on a recent Thursday evening. Most of the bar was taken up with two large poker tables; a newly added event that the bar is planning to make a regular feature. Other than the full poker tables, there were only us and two other patrons. We weren't greeted... More

Even with the heat, the large trees outside this establishment shade at least two small tables in the Florida summer heat. We ordered a few beers and scotch eggs. These are good eggs, however, for the scotch egg connoisseur, the eggs were over done and the sausage was thin. Even so, great choice! You must ask for mustard, which is... More

Typical Irish pub - which is a good thing. Beer was excellent - imperial pints. Service was OK Smoked salmon plate was very good. Mussels were in a very forgettable broth. Seafood - crab and shrimp? - soup was excellent

Warm, simple and friendly environment. A nice mix of locals and visitors. Great place for a party, casual lunch or dinner, drink at the bar or night cap. Very much enjoy the fish and chips and their draft Guiness IPA. And, if space available, sit at the bar. Great selection of English and Irish food. In addition to their good... More

Never been and it sounded interesting so we tried it. A bit rustic inside and the food was EXCELLENT. I had the Cream of Leek soup and the Rueben Sandwich. Yummy! The waitress was very pleasant and ensured our drinks were filled at all times. Next time I'll try the Cottage Pie which others say is delicious.

We spent a few days in Orlando in May. This was our final meal there before heading on the road back to South Florida. We didn't want fine dining but we didn't want fast food either and this place seemed to fit the bill. We arrived late in the afternoon on a Saturday and had trouble getting in the place... More

My wife works about a block from The Harp And Celt and I met her here for lunch when I got back in town from a job. She had mentioned it in phone calls and I love Irish pubs so I had thought of it for a month. We each got a bowl of soup that was a dream. I... More

Went in with a friend to watch the soccer for the afternoon and got a couple of cokes to start before moving onto beer and food. The staff were attentive even when just refilling the cokes to start with. The lady serving us made great effort to talk and chat with us and even gave us a free house cocktail... More

A downtown pub that is not the usual Disney-esque fantasy of an Irish pub. An authentic-looking street--side lends it atmosphere as does the huge bar inside. Boddington is on draft there, hard to find elsewhere, and the food was quite tasty. At the time I was there a recorded mix including Tom Petty was playing in the background - not... More
