My husband's family is from Greece and we all love Greek food - but we set the bar high! This food was delicious!! We bought the family meal - cold apps, hot apps, a meat platter and a seafood platter. All four of us (my...husband and 2 teenage daughters) loved everything. My favorite was the eggplant salad and the chicken kabobs. My one daughter Loved the calamari - my other daughter loved the lamb chops and ribs - my husband loved the seafood. Due to Covid we asked to sit outside.More

Came here for my birthday. This is the only place to go for lamb in Orlando. I had the slow toasted lamb and my husband had the lamb shank. Both were delicious and cut with a fork tender. The slow roasted had more of a...rosemary herb taste which personally I love with lamb. The service from Alexa was outstanding. She was very attentive and gave us excellent service. My husband is very hard to impress and he was wowed. Will definitely be back soon.More

Stopped in on Labor day weekend with my family on a spur of the moment Sea World trip. We ordered the hummus appetizer which was absolutely delicious. The hummus components were served in a mortar and pestle for you to grind and mix the components...to your desired consistency. Everyone had the gyro platter as we were all in the mood for it. The plate had a large amount of sliced gyro meat tucked in to the pita with lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce and was served with fries. The flavor was amazing and the portion of sauce and condiments was great. They have a belly dancer who dances every hour, my kids really enjoyed her and she was so kind to my daughters pulling them up to dance with her. I would definitely reccomend this place for anyone looking for a great atmosphere and dinner. Be aware the restaurant is in the middle of a cluster of night life areas so parking will more than likely be in a parking garage and it does get loud with the music but none disqualifying factors to come enjoy the food!More

Had a nice dinner during magical dinning month. Lamb chops were extra tender. Bransino was very good. Our server did a fair job of deboning it table side. Flaming cheese was good as well. Fun spot. Park in the garage and give your server your...parking ticket. They will give you a voucher so you only have to pay $2.00 to park for the evening.More

Overall a good meal. We went and tried the Magical Dining menu. I got the calamari, lamb and the signature dessert. My husband got the stuffed peppers as a vegetarian option. The restaurant is decorated with pictures of Greece, a large tree in the middle...of the restaurant and features a belly dancer that roams the room. Napkins are thrown into the air every so often and loud music plays the whole time. Once the music starts forget talking to your table mates as it is very loud and does not stop. We did enjoy the dancer and even took part. The food was good and flavored well. The lamb was well cooked and seasoned. The green beans as my side were luke warm and just ok. The lemon potatoes were soft and tasty. For the two of us for two drinks our meals and tip it was around $100. I think the meal was good but I have had way better for that price. As for COVID precautions they did overall a good job. Servers wore masks, albeit some not covering their nose. The hostess at one point was taking temps and then stopped. And when guests left their table to go to bathroom it was not enforced that they wore a mask. As far as I saw there was not an empty table so maybe they don’t have to follow the spacing rule for tables? If you want a little flavor of Greece and a parry atmosphere this is a fun once-in-a-while place.More

Enjoyed a wonderful Magical Dining dinner last night at Taverna Opa. We got there early and were seated at a socially distanced table for two indoors (It was raining outside, otherwise we would have liked to sit out there) All servers and the manager were...wearing masks. Our server, Christina, was delightful and very competent making sure we were well taken care of. Dinner was exceptional, starting with the flaming cheese (saganaki) & crispy calamari and some greek wine. My entree of 3 perfectly cooked & seasoned lamb chops with stringbeans wlth onion & bacon was fantastic. DH's filet mignon was good not great - could have been more tender. Finished off with two healthy portions of delicious baklava. Entertainment by a very talented belly dancer started at 7 who went around the room dancing with different gentlemen, including my DH. A fun and delicious night.More
