At least it has the atmosphere that I would think of as a dive, and that isn't a bad thing. It was cozy with a large bar and a comfortable dining area without much light. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. I had the lechon asado, cuban roast pork seasoned with Caribbean seasoning and served with rice,... More

We walked in and since no one was at the front and no sign said to wait, we sat ourselves. The owner and a female server came out and greeted us. We enjoyed the lunch buffet. The meat was well-done, tender and tasty. Not too salty, but really perfectly seasoned for us. It was a nice, small buffet, and all... More

We passed this restaurant many times before finally going in. It is a Mom & Pop type operation that always has lots of cars out front. We finally decided to try it the first time one afternoon when it was not so busy. We were greeted in the parking lot with the tantalizing smell of a pig roasting on a... More

While the owners and staff and absolutely wonderful people, the food is just mediocre. I only stopped in once and tried the pork and fried plantains. The pork was good. But average. The plantains were just too greasy. Maybe it was just a bad day, but we won't be back.

The Cuban-Mexican flare is interestingly very good. The restaurant is dated but clean, the owner needs more help as the crowd of customers increased. The drinks were very good. I had the Mufongo with pulled pork and Carnitas with black beans and white rice. Also the Tostones were very good. The price was $12-15 for the average entree. The desserts... More

Service was on the slow side at this restaurant, and the food, in my opinion, was a little commercial and not very authentic. Most likely would not return.

Food was OK but the service was abysmal! Had to ask 3 times for a to go box and the check. Waited 30 minutes for the check to arrive. Will not return. Save your time and money.

I have dined at Ramirez probably 7-8 times over the past two years. Its a good local Cuban/Mexican restaurant offering the normal fare you would find at similar establishments, but with a few extra menu items that makes it interesting. The food has been consistently good, maybe not great, but still good value for the money. Try the bean soup... More

This used to be a Puerto Rican restaurant, but after not visiting for awhile I was dissatisfied. The new owners are Mexican, Cuban trying to cook PR food! There is no taste to the food, very poorly cooked and they take soooo long to serve.

Worst Spanish food I have ever tasted. The paella was horrible and they should never serve it again. I can't believe this place is still in business.
