I ordered one egg, grits, bacon, and an English muffin. The grits were good and hot, the egg was cooked as I asked. The bacon was obviously cooked ahead and cold. The muffin was okay. The restaurant was crowded late on Sunday morning and pretty noisy. Overall, not a bad experience.

Excellent breakfast and quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. I would say, Gram's has the best biscuits and gravy as well as very good grits. Tasty. Did I mentioned portions are generous?

Hubby and I ate at two different locations, Deland for dinner, Orange City for breakfast. Both had good food. Good service by the waitresses. The food reminded you of good home cooking.

My wife and I from PA are staying with my daughter in Debary and she wanted to try Gram's for breakfast. We were greeted and selected a table. Coffee and drinks were served promptly, but we waited for some time before our order was taken. We then waited and waited for our food (with a hungry 2 year old). Twenty five minutes later we were served. My wife's waffle was cold in the center like it was frozen. My daughter's and my food was just mediocre. We requested another waffle and the second one was burned. She ate part of it being starved by this time. We asked to have the waffle removed from our check, but our waitress said that since it was eaten, she could only give a !0% reduction (49 cents). I complained to the cashier, who seemed like the manager, and he said he would tell the chef. That didn't satisfy me, so my daughter and family will not be returning.

This restaurant has some incredibly rude staff. A lady working there had the, “I’m to busy for you,” attitude. She said she didn’t have room for us and that it would be a “Very long wait”. Another waitress over heard her counter part and felt obligated to apologize for her behavior. I understand restaurants can get busy, especially on Sunday, but it doesn’t excuse poor hospitality.

We took our daughter and son in law for dinner. We bragged about how wonderful it is.
He bought all you can eat fish. He got 2 tiny pieces of fish first time and ordered more. After we were all done they brought one more piece!
This is not all you can eat.

This is a great little mom-and-pop restaurant you must try. Sweet potato waffle fries was the hit of our table the open-faced roast beef sandwich was almost enough to feed two.Great service with friendly faces.

It's been decades since we've eaten breakfast at this location. It was called Kitchen's back then and it was the place for breakfast at that time. We were in town early and decided to give it a try.
It was a windy day yesterday, but the first thing we noticed was the tree branch laying across the entrance to the front parking area. Wouldn't you pull it aside when opening up? It wasn't that big. Anyway, we drove around it and pulled up to the front. That's when we couldn't help notice all the landscaping, including the mulch beds, had not been maintained and were in very poor condition (think weeds). We thought that it looked horrible. Then we noticed the shabby condition of the building (think paint job - at least). If they let the building and surrounding grounds decay like this, imagine the kitchen or the dining area. We decided to give this place a pass. Maybe they will clean it up. For now, forget it. We won't be back.

Hats off to Jenny, Greeter and Waitress, who welcomed us to Gram's family atmosphere. Orders were placed and quickly appeared looking delicious. Taste did not disappoint. Biscuits were flakey and light. I enjoyed a fluffy omelet with grits. Be sure to stop by Gram's Kitchen. You will be glad you did!

Nice quality overall breakfast..... nice fresh food not sitting around cooked forever......most importantly is home fries were great.....hard to come by in most places

I was there for breakfast on the morning of my mom's funeral. My brother and sister had the pancakes and eggs, and I just had sausage and a biscuit, which were outstanding. I also liked the coffee. We'd all been trying to get to this place for years, and finally achieved our objective. Too bad I won't be coming back to Orange City.
