Everything Perfect! Took some friends from the Keys to sample their food, and from the Brunswick stew to the Brisket sandwich was amazing. The server took the time to explain things and most of all did not hover the table but instinctively knew when to...show up. I recommend them highly for their smoked meatsMore

We happened upon this restaurant while driving in town. MY wife said let’s give it a try. The interior is dark, it’s an old building. The wall behind the bar has more bottles of whiskey than a liquor store! The menu is basically pub food,...nothing that could be considered vegan. We ordered the fried green tomatoes. They came out golden brown, fried in a corn meal coating. They were excellent. I had the BBQ Reuben – a really tasty, tender brisket on Texas toas with Cole slaw and sauce. It was delicious. The side of French fries were excellent, crunchy outside and soft inside. My wife had a salad and ate some of the tomatoes. AM B was our hostess and she was very good, checking on us frequently. I highly advise a stop here for a nice lunch. November 2, 2020More

Brick City Southern Kitchen Whiskey Bar is a family occasion "go-to" place. We normally eat outside but since there was five of us, distensing rule allowed up to four/table. We had a nice comfortable table inside. Our waiter was great and we had a surprise...table visit from Derick! He explained the service, etc. under the health suggestions by phone the day before and we were quite happy to meet him. Thank you, Derick! The food was delicious, the drinks were fine and the atmosphere was large and open, but with the artwork is was more cozy. For food: Burnt Ends, Fried Pickles, BBQ Reubens, Chilli/cornbread, Chicken Nachos, Brisket. Sides; Mac/Cheese, Collard Greens. All very tasty. We were a happy bunch and of course, will return.More

Their drinks are good food is mediocre. So what draws me back ? The Kentucky Mule they make it with bourbon. Guess I need to learn how to make it at home and save money.

We liked this place despite this covid craziness I can say our time there was lovely. The waitress was nice ( sorry we forgot name - long hair super friendly) the place was super dark and it was a bit loud. This atmosphere may be...great for others but....we could not fully enjoy the noice and lack of lighting. The food for sure was the bright light on table. Steak was perfect and my wedge salad delish. May I also add the red wine fruity sangria was a hit with me.More

Went here for dinner on a Friday night while visiting the area for the weekend. This restaurant is situated in a quaint, little town square in the downtown area. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit outside since the weather was decent...and there was live music playing in the square. The service was fantastic! I usually hesitate to eat outside because you tend to get neglected (out of sight, out of mind), but this was definitely not the case as we were well attended to throughout the evening. Our server, David C., made some great food and drink recommendations that enhanced our dining experience and the food was delicious with generous portions. I highly recommend the nachos, beef brisket, and for cocktails the Old Fashioned if you are a bourbon fan.More

We four friends had dinner at Brick City. Our server Skyelar was attentive, informative and gave great service while allowing us time to relax and visit among ourselves. Staff wore masks and gloves which we appreciated. The booths and tables were arranged for 'social distancing'...The extensive bar was impressive and a bonus was...they made my Old Fashion perfectly Tom had BBQ Reuben made with brisket and a side of fries, I had Shrimp & Grits with a side of sweet potato mash (Yum) The shrimp & grits were tasty but a wee bit too spicy.More

Stopped in with family after a concert in the square. Busy, but got to sit down right away. They were out of a couple tap brews, but found one that was just OK. The pulled pork was good, the mojo pork had quite a bite...after the initial chew. The cole slaw was tasty. The waitress was a bit forgetful but came around after the restaurant slowed down about half way through our meal. Noisy when full, but it calmed down and was not too noisy when half full of customers. We have had better baroque, but it was just a bit better than average.More
