Very poor restaurant. The taco was not the best and the local is not a pleasant space to stay. Decoration is terrible despite of the reasonable service. Please see other alternative before to go to this restaurant for Mexican food

I've been coming to this place for 15 years. Sadly to say, I WON'T be coming back. I refuse to allow a restaurant to penalize me for paying with a debit card !! Not only is it AGAINST THE LAW and goes against merchant account...agreements, it's in poor taste to be so money hungry you will penalize a customer for the way they pay. It's a shame because I love their food but refuse to pay more than menu price just because for my personal safety I choose NOT to carry cash.More
Very good The queso dip was great The drinks are hit or miss some times it's to much mix and not enough tequila they have out door seating which is nice
I have loved this place and even brought visitors there when in town. Recently, the last 2 trips were very disappointing. The food was just not as good. The Fajitas were not as spicy and the seafood items seemed skimpy. It looked like all new...people, so not sure if this changed hands or just new staff, but I miss the old manager and some of the people there. The margaritas also seemed to have a lesser brand of tequila and the food just not as tasty. Not sure if I will be back.More
To begin, my tea was barely a notch above iced water. The queso tasted like concession stand nacho cheese and it actually came out before we even got our chips and salsa. Tacos were BLAND... both beef and the chicken tasted like the meat was...boiled without any seasonings at all. Hard shells were like chewing plastic. May come back to try something else but won’t do tacos again.More
I had the dual combo of a burrito and an enchilada. My choice of meat was chicken. The other options were beef and pork. There was cheese within and atop the burrito and enchilada. And that was it. No lettuce or tomato or sour cream...or pico de gallo. Very deficient in ingredients. The rice and beans were okay, nothing special. And the meal didn't come with another staple, chips and salsa. I much prefer La Bamba. Dine in allowed up to 75 percent capacity. Social distancing maintained with tables and bar stools. Tables sanitized after customers finish dining at their table. Curbside pickup available.More
A small place in a small strip mall near House of Ladders. They have outside seating that's great when the weather permits. I have tried several dishes and all have been good. Chips are fresh salsa tasty. Lunch specials (till 2:30 MF) are generous portions....Food is served hot. Staff is friendly but don't expect to be bothered a lot when sitting outside.More
Food had to be sent back. Asked for condiments the waiter forgot to bring. Twice. Outside was not clean at all. Drinks were watered down, manager dumped standing water from table that ended up on both mine and my fiancé’s feet. No apologies extended. Furniture...rickety and out dated. Over all a piss poor experience. Recommendation!!! Never. It’s a no for me dawg.More
Went there to celebrate the above. Food was good, special on margaritas, flan for dessert and live music. Refried beans were excellent with melted cheese but the rice was dry and hard.
This Mexican restaurant has the most diverse dishes I have ever seen. Started off with a $3.95 48 ounce house margarita. Had delicious combination of a Chili Rellano pork burrito. Wife had chicken and steak fajitas. Next time i want to try crab meat nachos...and seafood fajitas. All cooked perfectly with rice and refried beans. Can't wait to go backMore
Good food nice staff The chicken chimi changa is good Margaritas are ok Go early it gets very busy good Happy hour
Really loved this restaurant. We went there twice, first for the Enchilada special on Monday and then on Tuesday for all you can eat Tacos. We decided on regular menu items instead of the tacos and the fajitas were very good; enough for 2 meals...for me. We sat at the bar for happy hour and loved the margaritas and the service was great. Will definitely make this a regular place. Tuesday was very crowded for the all you can eat Tacos. When we left around 7 PM there was a wait to get it.More
I have been coming to the restaurant for over 20 years and though never disappointed nothing really stands out except for their Margaritas but I don't drink anymore. Had a groupon so we decided to have a late lunch. There were two servers and a...bus person handling the two rooms plus a couple of outside tables and the service was fine with Aldo primarily waiting on us. The salsa served with the chips had to much 'juice' which made dripping all over a major problem. I had the chicken fajitas and Allen had a pork dish and though neither were bad they weren't a stand out either. They generous with shredded cheese and pico de gallo for the fajitas along with the vegetables and chicken on the hot skillet. A problem with the chicken was that it was cut into chunks making it difficult to wrap in the tortillas. Allen's dish had generous portions of pork along with peppers, tomatoes and onions. He had a diet coke while I had coffee and we both had plain vanilla ice cream for dessert. The check came to $29.61 minus the $10 coupon and we left an $8 tip. Though the restaurant hasn't changed much since the new owners took over as far as décor goes it is clean and mainly clichés. The only smiles you saw in the restaurant were from the customers who were drinking the huge margaritas while the main difference from the previous owners to the new ones was the lack of welcome, feeling like a friend or a member of the family, which is what made the old Tequila Sunrise an above average Mexican restaurant and makes the current one just another Mexican restaurant, reliable but not worth a special trip.More
I had been hearing about this restaurant from other bar & restaurant folks for about 8 months. Finally went last Friday. Not disappointed. Specials on drinks and foods every day. Definitely a worthwhile experience. Service was very attentive, although we were in a room with...a large party of birthday celebrators, we were well cared for.More
We liked it so much the first night that we tried it again once more before we left. Taco Tuesdays are all you can eat tacos for $8.99. Loved our waiter, Robert. Super chill. Will definitely go back on next trip!
