We ordered delivery. We tried a variety of dishes: Hot and Sour Soup, Mu Shu Shrimp, Beef with Mixed Vegetables, Cashew Shrimp, and Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef was our favorite. The Cashew Shrimp was our least favorite. The other dishes were good, but not great. I’d order from them again, but I’d like to try other Chinese restaurants in the area first.

Good Chinese food in FTL. is a very questionable. I have found its like ordering from a Chinese restaurant: 1 place has good ribs, another has good fried rice and so forth and so forth. It is also hard to find consistency in quality .

Eggs fu yong was average
Pepper steak better however the fried rice was horrible. It was one step above yellow rice, greasy and bland! We didn’t get past the second spoonful.

I ordered the lunch combo. pork egg foo young. It comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll for just over $7. First of all this has to be the smallest serving of Chinese food I've ever seen. I was not impressed. The atmosphere was definetely NOT for dining in. The egg roll was fried so much that it was as hard as a baseball bat and burnt in spots. The egg foo young had good flavor however, while eating it I bit down on some little pebble like thing and ended up throwing it out. The fried rice had 2 little bits of egg in it and tasted like it was more than a day old and was hard. There are PLENTY of good Chinese restaurants in the area, I would not waste my time on this place. In the future I'll spend an extra dollar and get fresh edible food, good serving size and soup as well.
I do not recommend this establishment.

Great takeout , not sure if it was remodeled or new owners but like the location much better - the food is delicious and portions are generous - like the quality of shrimp in their dishes

Ordered online for pickup. Food was flavored very well, the quantity was good , very neatly packed in proper containers and they also threw in a fortune cookie!

We tried this restaurant last night based on 4 stars reviews. We the food delivered which came quickly. The pan fried dumplings tasted burnt as well as the MooShu chicken. It was probably the oil. Both went into the trash Not edible. Wasn't worth the hassle of driving down there to complain. Never go back

We had Chicken Almond Ding and Mushroom, Chestnut and Snow-peas with white rice. It was delicious! Fresh and healthy food. Service with a smile. We loved it.

I had Uber Eats deliver dinner from Dragon Tea House. The hot and sour soup was spicy and sour, but missing a rich flavor. The egg roll had a good texture, but was bland. The garlic chicken was overly sweet, spicy, but had no garlic flavor and was low on salt. I would not order from here again.

We just moved to the east side of town and could not find a good Chinese restaurant until we tried the Dragon Tea House.
Soup and egg rolls were delicious. We each ordered a different main dish...every dish was hot & very fresh.
The wait staff was very friendly and efficient.
We were so happy to find this place and we are sure it will now be “our” Chinese Restaurant.

I have a new favorite Chinese restaurant- Dragon Tea House, 1327 E Commercial Blvd, Oakland Park, FL 33334, on Commercial just east of Dixie Hwy. Phone (954) 771-2773. I remember passing it previously and so I decided to go there and have lunch, Friday, September 21, 2018. I felt like I had died and gone to Cantonese Heaven! Giant chicken wings, just as I like them, crunchy outside and juicy inside. They had what we used to call pork strips in Boston, which we ate as an appetizer for every meal in a Chinese restaurant. Even the wonton strips were crunchy and not stale! Wonton strips, water, and hot tea are served as soon as you sit down. It is a small unassuming store front but the atmosphere was very pleasant with Chinese decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. Several customers came in and ordered takeout and it was 3PM late lunch. I will be back since there are several other items I need to try that I know are going to be as delicious as the ones I experienced at lunch on my first excursion,

9/14/18- wow Ilene would be proud. I had the lunch special. Roast Pork Low Mein. It had snow peas celery, roast pork. It was yummy came w/ Roast Pork fried rice wonton soup and a egg roll. Plus you get hot tea and crunchy noodles. The young girl sever. I’d do sweet. She took two different tables orders and didn’t even write it down. The place is doing well.

Came for lunch, after reading some trip advisor reviews, we had sweet & sour Chichén, chicken fried rose, egg rolls, stir fry meat and brócoli, and love the food, everything was good, the place is small but very nice

I first came to heard of Dragon Tea House through a Groupon that I purchased. I tried several dishes like their mongolian beef, “mixed soup” (wonton and egg drop), egg rolls and another dish I can’t remember. Every dish tasted just like I remember my local Chinese restaurant in NY to taste. This food blows any local restaurant’s away! I have been back several times and have had the pork lo mein, barbecue spareribs, moo goo gai pan, fried rice and boneless ribs. I have loved at all with the exception of the boneless ribs. To me they were dried out. However with every bite that I took of every other dish I was blown away at how delicious everything was and how I missed out on this place for the almost 10 years that I’ve lived here. From what I understand, the family who owns the restaurant is from New York and the current head chef is from Brooklyn. If you have been looking for delicious and non-greasy Chinese food, make it a point to visit Dragon Tea House in Fort Lauderdale.
