My husband and I recently visited this restaurant while in North Port and were pleasantly surprised! It was delicious! The flavors were really unique and authentic. The person working was helpful and friendly. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 out of...5 is because there’s no indoor seating and it was extremely hot outside. We were informed that will be changing soon though. I wish I would’ve taken pictures of my lunch, but I managed to get a picture of dessert. It was yummy! I highly recommend this place!More

This was our first time for Colombian Food. We were nicely assisted by the guy that took our order to what we might like and ordered Tilapia, tostones and empanadas. All were very deliciously made to order with generous portions. We ate outside because Covid...kept them closed to inside dining but the weather was great to do this. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and will carry out again soon.More

Que Rico's food is very good, it looks like Brazilian food, rice, beans, meat and salad, I love the fried banana, it has natural juices, I think it's the best restaurant in North Port, I recommend it !!

Currently one cannot eat here due to corona precautions but those who love real authentic Colombian food should not miss the opportunity to enjoy their take out. It is a "hole-in-the-wall" place but with style and soul of its own. Recommended.

So FIVE STAR... We stopped in tonight to check the next new place for us in North Port, and were very happy with the result. The flavors are so wonderful and the portions were VERY ample, and the cost was totally reasonable. We talked with...Ivan, explaining that, if we were happy with the food, we would "talk it up"... a LOT. We also told him about Patsy Caribbean Delight about 8-9 miles east of Que-Rico, explaining that we were so very happy with their fare, and suggesting he might try it out. --- Ivan - you SO OWNED this one! We ate the empanadas and the super arepas. Both were great. The sauces on the arepas were both awesome, as was the pulled brisket. Plan on returning soon. A++, was very good, dynamite.

A great small, family-owned restaurant. Have eaten here three times now on my two week visit to Florida, and the food is always fresh, cooked in the kitchen in the back (you can catch a glimpse of them working), and best of all, made from...real ingredients - no pre-made stuff here! Friendly, very informal service, and they will also adjust spiciness to your preference. Some of the best Latin food i've eaten anywhere!More

The food in this place is AMAZING!I've eaten at other Colombian restaurant but this is definitely the absolute best! A MUST try!

Empanadas to die for, and the brisket what can i say OMG Delicious, if you ever have a desire for spanish food in North Port this is the place to go!!

We decided to drop in and try Que Rico for dinner and we were happy we did! The owners came out to greet us and asked what we liked to make sure we ordered exactly what we wanted. I had a special that was shredded...pork that was marinated and slow cooked for 14 hours. The dish came with plantains,hearty red beans, white rice and columbian salad that had a terrific homemade dressing. My partner ordered the flap steak that was seasoned, perfectly cooked and was juicy. The portions were huge and we ended up taking enough home for the following night dinner. The atmosphere was like being in a friend’s home. I will be back for sure.More
