Some dishes were good, some were overcooked and lacked ingredients. The fried rice really could use some improvements

Got lunch to go here the other day, not great but pretty good for North Port. Ordered white rice with meal but got fried, no problem. Good amount of food at a fair price. I would go back

Disgusting, just don't. The beef was chewy and doused with a ridiculous amount of onions. The crispy noodles were stale. The rice was underdone and they forgot our noodles, but those probably sucked too.

This is a public service announcement. Don't eat here! This is the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted in my life. Additionally, it was a scam. Let me tell you the story. I ordered a large (Qt) "Pork w. Black Bean Sauce" off the menu, it was NOT a combo dinner. They only sold it in that size, no small (Pt) portion was available. The price was $11.99. I also ordered a small (Pt) of "Hot & Sour Soup" at $3.99. These are high prices to begin with, but I'm not cheap and willing to pay for something good. I didn't order takeout, I dined in. The soup was watery thin and I could tell it was hot and sour soup, but it barely resembled it. There was no "hot" component. It had no eye appeal: it looked like it came out of a can. No colors popping out at me, everything was dull, nothing glistened. Tasteless. The park with black bean sauce was even more disappointing. The first thing I noticed was that the portion was so small I don't even think it was a pint. I think it was a "combo" portion. But I paid $11.99 for a quart, which should've been three times as much. I could barely find the pork, so I counted the small pieces and they were 12 unimpressive sizes. It was plain silly! I knew then and there I would never come back to this restaurant just because they are premeditated cheapskates! Most of the dish was onions, there were about 8 pieces of green bell pepper, 8 snow peapods, about as many VERY small broccoli florets, and even fewer water chestnuts that probably were canned. Everything was soggy. The dish had zero eye appeal when it was served. I should've walked out then and there and called American Express and canceled the sale. I had left them a tip, which I don't think everybody does in a takeout joint. It didn't do me any good. The food was not hot, it was warm, as if they were serving it 20 minutes after it came out of the wok. I'm not prone to writing reviews but I'm doing this for humanitarian purposes. Don't eat here. These people are claiming to be in the hospitality business. It ain't so,! Beware! I would say they either have a serious attitude problem and enjoy ripping people off or else they are in the wrong profession and they've got some untrained, unskilled, unqualified person in the kitchen. Being stupid and incompetent is understandable. Having me pay $12 for a quart of food and getting about a third is unconscionable. They ripped me off. Who's next? Don't go there.

Chinese Takeout

We were visiting family in the area and had the hankering for takeout. Found this place on Trip Advisor. The food was excellent. The pork fried rice was the best I’ve had in a long time. The portions were very big. When we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely go back.

Reliable Asian Fare

This is an above average Chinese takeout place. While they have the usual few tables, the vast majority of their business seems to be takeout. I have tried numerous items from their menu and them as good or better than the average comparable Chinese restaurant in the area. The staff are pleasant and the place appears clean every time I visit. I like their Egg Foo Young and their Szechuan beef. This is reliable takeout east coast Chinese food not gourmet San Francisco Chinatown cuisine, but it is the reliably best Chinese restaurant in North Port.

Very Disappointed. Just horrible food at an expensive price!

We are new to North Port and we finally decided to try a Chinese take-out. What a mistake China Wokery was!. For 2 combo plates, an order of a small crab rangoon and a order of a small boneless spareribs came to over $33!!! The quality and taste of the food was dismal. The pork fried rice had itty bitty morsels of pork where you could even taste them. The chicken chow main, while having chicken, was mostly onion and celery. The shrimp low mein was okay and so was the crab rangoon. However the egg rolls were gross and I'm not sure what was in the boneless spare ribs, and if it was pork, it was old! The taste was the worst I've ever had!! And that small container was as expensive as the 2 combos at over $8! Will never eat there again! SO disappointed!

Delivery Is Nice

This was our first time eating their food. We ordered delivery. House Lo Mein and Almond Chicken. Everything was just ok including the egg rolls. I did like the wonton soup more than others. We will stick to our regular Chinese restaurant. Was hoping to find a hidden gem with no success.
