Wanted to stay closer to home for a special lunch with my wife this past Sunday and it went beautifully! I had requested a good water view table online and mentioned that it was a big anniversary for us. They kindly adjusted my arrival time...after letting them know we were a little behind. Our cocktails and each plate that we selected were prepared and delivered at the right temperature. Our waitress Krystal was professional and took very good care of us. When I asked for our check, we were suprised that she brought us two flutes of champagne and a slice of a delicious key lime pie with a candle. Made me look like a king because it seemed that I had ordered it...but all I had told them in the special instructions in my reservation was that it was our 25th anniversary. Very special touch, thanks to all. PS The menu is somewhat limited, not the Houston's of old but there are some tasty select plates.More

We are regulars here and would hate for them to fold because of Covid. So we have gotten lunch to go twice in the last 10 days. Don’t get your heart set in anything until you see the menu of the day. As you can...imagine, supply lines are unpredictable. What is predictable is their quality. They put the same attention in your to go box/bag that they do in turning out fine food every night. It's the place to go if you can't decide where to go. The wait is long. It is uncommon to be able to sit down right away. The Artichokes are great, if you are lucky; they are rarely available. The food is very good and...the lemon drop martini is excellent.More

Ate dinner at Houston’s yesterday evening and enjoyed ourselves. I chose the Thai noodle salad (steak slices were soft and tender-cooked just right) - go to dish for me. My wife had the veggie burger and spaghetti squash as a side. Quite delicious. We make...a point of eating at Houston’s every year when we come to Florida. Never disappointed!More

Food all around is excellent! Can not go wrong with any choice. Highly recommended by many is the ribs... Fall off the bone. seating is only available for 4 with the exception of two tables across the restaurant that will seat 6. If you have...a group of more than four you will be seated separate and not necessarily together.. we had 12 and were seated at three tables. this is even if you have a reservation. I have never heard of such a thing. Food worth it but would not be top on my list due to seating.More

Food was delicious, very fresh. You gwt what you expect from Houston’s. Nothing more or less, that is why i like to go there. Cocktails were great, as well as the service.

Menu changes have not been for the better. Ahi tuna salad was awesome, but they changed it and its no longer my favorite. Smaller portions and much higher prices make Houstons even more un-attractive. $9 for a very small portion of french fries. $11 for...a side sized Caeasar Salad. Used to come often and endured the one hour wait for a table. Not coming back any time soonMore

There is always a wait here and you can’t call ahead to make a reservation, but because of the Hawaiian Ribeye, it’s worth the wait. The spinach dip appetizer is also pretty good. If you are lucky you can score a seat at the bar...while you wait for your table. The staff was very attentive and made lunch more enjoyable.More

Just arrived in S Florida and came here for some comfort food. For many years Houston’s has not disappointed. Last night was a disappointment. Focaccia was fried greasy sourdough bread served with 3 olives and a chunk of butter. The grilled Brussels sprouts did not...disappoint. Our mains were cold. The fries were dry and tough and coleslaw drowned in mayonnaise. To top it off there was no decaf coffee in the restaurant! Let others sample. You wait for better reviews and look for comfort elsewhere.More

In Miami I know they have a kale salad. It comes spicey but you can ask without the hot chili's. I had a fish sandwich with was very crispy and delicious. It came with mixed salad on the side and yummy cole slaw too... More

Smart casual - if you are going to a nice restaurant, dress the part.
