Great Mexican restaurant in Captiva. Burritos were excellent as were the back beans and rice. Nice seating outside.

Had a lunch of fish and shrimp tacos that were served with yellow rice and black beans (or refried if you preferred). The tacos were quite tasty. We also ordered guacamole which was prepared fresh and very good. The chips were warm and light. The...More

Wow! My husband and I love Mexican food. We've been coming to Captica for years, have always seen this restaurant but never tried it until tonight. The food was top notch, the service was friendly and fast. I found the guacamole way too salty and...More

The guacamole and salsa are some of the best I ever had. Our waiter greeted us with menus as we walked to the outdoor seating area from our car. Great margaritas, efficient service, causal environment. Loved the three cheese enchiladas.

We went for lunch for a very uncrowned day so I thought we’d get really good food and drinks. Oh well...the margaritas were so watered down - you couldn’t taste ANY tequila. We got the house speciality which was fajitas. There was hardly any beef...More

Description
Enjoy a spicy and unique atmosphere while savoring the fine Mexican and Southwestern cuisine at Cantina Captiva. Try our homemade guacamole - “The green stuff!” It's made fresh daily. Served with a side of pico de gallo, and warm corn tortilla chips or perhaps you prefer something a little spicier? We've got you covered with our stuffed cheese jalapeno poppers served with a side of fiesta ranch dressing. Looking for a salad to suit your fancy? Choose a taco salad or a fajita salad with your choice of chicken breast, steak or shrimp on top of crisp lettuce topped with lots of goodies. Of course, we have the traditional Mexican food favorites like fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. Feeling more non-traditional? Choose our chef's favorites - Shrimp Diablo – Gulf Shrimp sautéed with our chef’s secret chipotle marinade, or Tequila-Lime Shrimp. Complement your meal with a choice of imported or domestic beers or perhaps an icily refreshing margarita!
