A great place to celebrate a wedding anniversary. I hadn't requested it but they seated us at a window table so we could see the beautiful sunset. (I also ran across the street to photograph closer.) The Wedge salad was a little weird with Catalina...Dressing, but everything else was incredible - Hubby had Cioppini & I had Chilean Seabass with the best creamy polenta I have ever tasted, vegetable medley, and citrus butter sauce. I choose the small plate which was just right for my small appetite. Creme Brulee for dessert was a finishing touch to the meal. Service was professional and paced just right. Parking is shared with the Tween Waters Inn so can be hard to find a space on busy evenings. Highly recommend!More

We came to Captiva and spent the weekend at Tween Waters to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our dinner was beyond amazing! Our server was Niles and he too was amazing! We started with Escargot... I wish I had thought to take a photo because it...was served in a Roma tomato broth to die for, not the typical garlic and butter. The garlic bread had full cloves of roasted garlic baked into it and served with olive oil and herbs for dipping. My husband had lobster and crab crusted scallops with vegetable medley while I had the pan seared filet with mashed garlic potatoes and vegetable medley. The beef literally melted in my mouth and was more tender than any beef I’ve had out before. To top off the evening, my husband ordered the key lime pie... his favorite and he wasn’t disappointed. This meal as well as the service was worth every penny!! Well done, Old Captiva House!!More

We came here with my family of four for a special night out while on vacation in Captiva. Not only have they done an excellent job making you feel safe and secure during the pandemic but the service was excellent. More importantly, the food was...also excellent! Every single thing we ate was delicious!! We started dinner at 6:15 PM to make sure that we would be finished in time to walk across the street and watch the sunset. It was the perfect ending to a perfect evening.More

Best place in Sanibel/Captiva! We just tried this place after visiting the area frequently for the past 18 years. Absolutely loved it! The view of the beach out our window made for an interesting setting for our family dinner. The service was awesome and the...food was spectacular! Loved the dressing on the wedge salad. The Gorgonzola cheese topping on the filet was amazing and it was perfectly seasoned and prepared.More

We had heard so much about the Tween Waters Resort and this restaurant that we had to try it during our stay at another property on Captiva Island, so we drove over here. First of all, I want to commend the entire staff, from the...front desk hostess to the servers, all were outstanding. Wonderful service. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The dining room was light and airy --- a nice seaside decor. The meal was also very good, but I would rate mine as four stars rather than five. Perhaps my expectations were too high considering we were just coming out of the covid epidemic. I was glad to find the restaurant open, but my meal was not quite five stars. It was a good four. I ordered the grilled grouper with (I think) crab pieces mixed in with vegetables and mango salsa and a sort of rice pilaf. The creme brulee at the end was five stars all the way. Really delicious. Would I return? Yes. So --- a four star main meal with a five star dessert.More
