They now call it Captiva House Gulf Front Seafood Restaurant and it's got a brand new menu. I tried the lie crab bisque ($12) and the presentation made it worth the money. A bowl of crabmeat with colorful sauce swirls is set down then the bisque is poured over. Caribbean grouper with mango salsa and pumpkin mash ($34) was outstanding.... More

Spacious room with a feeling of coziness. Wonderful service, expansive menu and tables far apart. The Captiva Bouillabaisse and Grouper are to die for! Try the Curry Lobster Spring Rolls appetizer. The meal is bit pricey but worth it. Hey, they have a chef! It's convenient if you are staying at the resort. And there's a beautiful sunset out front.

Fine dining venue. Atmosphere, service and menu accordingly fit the bill. Though fine dining, will still be comfortable wearing shorts and a shirt. Food was excellent, wine list very good. Service formal , but friendly.

A lovely fine dinning resturant with a beautiful view. Service was good and the menu was interesting however the food seemed just average to me.

I highly recommend this restaurant where Laurent the Manager is very nice and friendly and the waiter, Eric was polite and attentive and that's without saying how excellent the food and service was. My husband and I are already planning our next visit.

There are no hot items available on the continental buffet. It's a true continental. A couple of hot items would have been nice considering the price for the room

I wish there was an option for six stars, because our dining experience here deserved it. This was our first time dining here, and it won't be our last. Although we've enjoyed good food throughout our stay on Sanibel, this was by far the best meal we had. The ambience was fitting of a romantic evening out. We had a... More

A friend and I recently had an awesome dinner at this charming restaurant! It is located at the Tween Waters Inn on Captiva Island. We had a great meal while watching the sunset overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The blue crab bisque was absolutely delicious! I also had a great Caesar Salad. The shrimp and scallops were amazing and the... More
