This is a great place to sit outside by the beach. Its fine for drinks and and average lunch. Nice live music outside in the evening.

The drive to The Mucky Duck is lovely. The parking at The Mucky Duck is terrible. At least they had one or two employees out in the parking lot trying to direct traffic around and around until a spot opened up. They did pretty well keeping everyone in order. Chose to eat inside, and we were seated promptly. Staff and... More

On our first visit to Sanibel Island, we had to visit the Mucky Duck. A good friend uses "Mucky Duck" as part of her email address and I always wondered the origin. It seems that this establishment was her stomping grounds many years ago and the thought of our being on Sanibel opened the flood gates for her memories. We... More

My wife's idea of a duck would be they're cute. Eat one? Never! Except, now, The Duck Fingers from Mucky Duck! Dang! They were good. So was lunch.

We found The Mucky Duck while exploring Captiva Island. A beautiful location. The sign said "English Pub" and the menu had Fish n Chips. Sadly the place is Mucky (Dirty in England) and the Fish n Chips are awful ! McDonalds chips and Fish Fingers. Overcooked !!! Our lunch went into the Bin ( English for Trash Can)

Our noses led us to this restaurant. We were walking the beach and the smell of burgers took us to the door. This place is on the beach and the outside is amazing. Lot of seating at tables or grab some chairs and stick your feet in the sand. Has an outdoor bar too. We just missed lunch...no biggie. Guess... More

Been going here for years- The food is good, the drinks are great, and the service is outstanding! Go once or twice and they already remember your name and what do you like to drink! Service comes with a side dish of humor- be sure to ask them for a window seat or ketchup ... you'll see what I mean... More

Service was friendly, meal was delicious. It was a ridiculous nightmare to park, however, and had I known, I would have navigated one of the trams that run about in Captiva. Probably our most expensive meal while vacationing, but the overall experience where it mattered most was very good.
