Menu change? Management change? Food quality has gone downhill, prices have gone up. We r locals, been going here for many years. No shrimp basket anymore, just a platter w 5 shrimp. Lightly battered shrimp is now an overcooked heavy crusted greasy panko coating ....Grouper Rubin is a gray, smelly mystery fish. I’ve lived and fished these waters for 67 years, this didn’t smell or taste anything like grouper. Guess it’s just for tourist now. View is still great. Service was ok. Good food is easy to make w good ingredients. Care about your food quality more.More

My husband and I went for an early lunch. Were seated right away at a table by the water. When we left at noon there was a long wait in line. We love the shrimp rangoons! We also had the clam chowder and Cuban sandwich....Great food and service! Ariel was a busy server, but very attentive. We found a parking spot in the lot, but ample parking across the street.More

My husband and I always loved Pop's Sunset Grill. We were regulars and brought family and friends to this restaurant. Now, we do not recommend or eat at Pops with the new menu changes. Pops had the best Greek salad I have ever tasted. As...popular as it was, it is now off the new menu. When we were there last, I was so disappointed and asked the waitress if the chef could make me the Greek salad. She was nice about it but said no, even though she said many other people were making the same request concerning the Greek salad. However, the restaurant will not make the Greek salad. The delicious Chicken Francese is off the new menu and substituted with Chicken Mediterranean. That looked good but is topped with capers which are super salty. I asked the waitress if I could have the Chicken Mediterranean, minus the capers. I'm not suppose to have excess salt. She said the chef could not prepare the dish without the capers, which made absolutely no sense to me. Restaurants are suppose to accommodate people with health issues or allergies and it seems Pop's Sunset Grill does not adhere to this policy. My husband used to order the seafood baskets which are now the more pricey seafood platters. As much as he loves shrimp, he said his shrimp was mediocre. About a month ago, I emailed my comments to Pop's Sunset Grill. I was expecting a reply but I never received any reply from them. I was very disappointed with their lack of response and poor customer service. The impression we have: They have substituted the quality with quantity in order to increase profits. They don't seem to be listening to their customers at all. We will not be back and we do not recommend.More

Nice casual spot on the water, worth a visit for the water views, boat traffic, and cool breezes. The burger and onion rings were very good as was the Casey Key Salad. The waterfront bar was full and the outdoor seating is worth the wait....Service was great during a late afternoon rush, they know how to handle a crowd. Highly recommend for casual waterfront dining.More

A can't miss spot. We ate there for breakfast and dinner, and every meal was amazing. For breakfast, the cinnamon rolls are a must order and the mother and child reunion was delicious. For dinner, I think I had three orders of Shrimp Rangoon and...could have gone for more. The jerk mahi special and they oysters were excellent. You also cannot overlook the attention to detail and ambience. All of the servers were responsive and engaging. The restaurant is right on the water, which gives everything an added vibe. That vibe only is increased by the live music, which seems like it is going all day. And you cannot just pass by the boutique, which has so many unique and interesting things. All around, a must stop when nearby. Great food; great atmosphere; great service.More

Gone to Pops many times. Food is ok. Restaurant was 1/3 full at 9am for breakfast. We entered looking for our party because girl did not show our reservation. We chose a table. After the friendly waitress gave us menus she then left. Apparently a...black female manager then came up to tell us that their rules are to check in at the desk (we did) and we were not supposed to seat ourselves. After her tirade continued I said let’s drop it. Her attitude was terrible. We should have left. We will never return.More
