The best part of this dinner was the view. Crab legs came out still FROZEN! The roast beef poboy was dry and bland with the gravy on the side. Anybody that knows a real Louisiana poboy (as they claimed to be) knows the meat is in the gravy and there's plenty of it. In addition, I had to hunt the... More

My first time at dockside for a casual business dinner. I love to try different recipes for shrimp and grits. This was one of the best I have ever tried. The fresh vegetables (Lima beans-unusual) in the sauce with the shrimp was so tasty. Not overlooked and enjoyed. Can't wait to come back.

We enjoyed eating here, portion size is decent. We got to go boxes as we couldn't finish it all. There is indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the water. For twenty dollars and change I got two good sized crab cakes and a good sized portion of garlic mashed potatoes. Any vegetable was extra with this particular meal.... More

Dockside is a nice restaurant with good food and good prices. Ernie does a good job with the food. He started by the north light restaurant and moved up from there. This place is a big place with some nice outdoor seating locations. It is also a good place to stop by boat. I recommend it

Service was Excellent. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and live music. Food was WOW! We had the trio of baked oysters- excellent! The fish and shrimp were perfectly prepared and the Algiers sauce was so tastey! We had a wonderful view on the deck and drinks inside while we listened to a local band. Just a wonderful place to go on... More

Nice views. OK food. Bathrooms not very well maintained as seemed the whole restaurant. With a larger group/event on a hot day and had to ask for water to the tables. You would think that would have been an automatic part of the service....

I don't know what to say except the food was good and tasty but they delivered some of the worst service I've ever had. Nobody was smiling, except the hostess. Our waiter was absolutely horrible. They place was not busy at all which makes it even worse. The waiter never checked on us after he brought our food which took... More

This is not one of my favorite local options. As with many seafood places in the area, I find the prices high for the quality of the food. There are many fried options, fewer grilled choices. They have redone their deck and there's a nice view over the bay.

Excellent food, service, live music and best of all it's on the water overlooking the sailboats! We had a wonderful time. The best Mahi (blackened) and spinach baked oysters! I recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

We had just arrived into the area and were anxious to find local seafood. Dockside was close to our campground so we gave it a shot. It was okay, but not the really good fresh seafood we were expecting. Will not be on my recco list.
