Fairly new business which is tucked (hidden) behind McDonald's, off of Highway 20 and Juniper Avenue, in Niceville, Florida. The chef/owner is Brian Cartenuto, a young chef who cooks very tasty, and well seasoned, food in a casual environment. He claims to cook and serve the BEST HAMBURGER IN TOWN, and my son who considers himself a burger connoisseur (and tastes burgers in EVERY town we visit) says it is THE BEST hamburger he has EVER eaten. And, it is HUGE. In fact, all of Brian's portions are very large. I can never finish my plate of food, and take some home every time. In addition to his menu, he offers Blue Plate Specials from Monday through Friday. His "Red Beans and Rice" on Monday are the BEST I've ever had. As Niceville, Fl has so few delicious, affordable and local restaurants, I am reallly wanting to place Tucker Duke's Lunchbox on the map. In fact, I plan to contact that show Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins. :-)

Nice water view with good food

Nice new location at the yacht club on the bayou (not the gas station shown in current picture). Good big burgers. Consider sharing one. Medium Rare is a click low (rare) at least in my book. Portabella mushroom fries were very good. Beers selection was wide.

Met a friend here; great table out on the patio; able to watch birds and boats on the water while dining. Two of us had the daily special burger...fried pickles, onion rings, bacon, cheddar with mustard aioli sauce, which was delicious! The hubby had jambalaya with sweet potato fries and a salad...lots of food! He really enjoyed the jambalaya; spicy... More

Eat there pretty often since we can go by boat. Hamburger is your best choice, the other items might be good or not. Never consistent. Service can often be slow so don't be in a hurry.

I love the new location on the water and the burgers are still fabulous. The sides are really simple and four bucks extra. Overall, two ate for 40$ plus tip. Service was good. Took time, but was well worth the wait. This isn't a place to go if you're in a rush.

My son recommended us to go here. I've got to say it's very good. Love the taters with the smoked pulled pork on top. Even though it's an appetizer, I could see myself eating just those! The burgers are a mile high and it's quite delish!

I dined with a group of 12 friends on a Sat night. It is located in a marina on the water. They have an outside patio that would provide great views but since it was very cold this particular night they had the plastic windows rolled down. They also had portable heaters on the deck to keep it comfortable. They... More

This is THE best place for brunch in all of Northwest Florida! As a diehard Another Broken Egg fan, I can tell you they have nothing on Tucker Duke's. I drove over 30 miles to eat here this morning after seeing the all you can eat brunch. At $17 today, it may sound pricey. But with over 20 things to... More

it's a must to order the Tucker Duke hamburger. Go hungry! Then go back again and order something else another day. Yum!

Although we have no complaints about the food, the service is severely lacking and poor. It appears that the serving of the meals do not go by by the order in which you arrive. The last time we dined at this establishment, we felt like second-class citizens as we noted that people and groups who had arrived after us were... More

When in Rome or is the Destin area, you got to stop by Tucker Duke's. I had the Bacon Jalapeño Mac n cheese with the Tucker Duke burger! Boom!
