The photo for the listing is of their previous location: a converted gas station. When I visited, they were in a new location with a water view--a definite improvement. Now I hear that they are moving to a strip mall which will be a downgrade. I had the Tucker Duke burger. It was huge! I ordered mine medium rare, but... More

Stopped in at Tucker Dukes this evening for the first time. Right away noticed a chalk board with "rules". The rules were things like "no cell phones", "no changes to the Tucker Duke burger", "no strollers". Since I am not real keen on rules in the first place, this display didn't sit right with me. We were hungry, the place... More

These were the biggest and most original and unique hamburgers I have had in Okaloosa County! It's a little pricey (around $20.00 for burger, fries and a drink) but what do you expect from a meal that if you finish it, you leave needing an immediate nap!

Tucker Duke's announced on the restaurant's Facebook page, today, that they had closed, and that they're moving again. According to their announcement the new location will be in a strip-mall location in Niceville when it reopens...again.

They have good food at Tucker Duke's, but lousy drinks. All they have is Italian type liquors and they are not good. It sits close to the water and has a wonderful view.

Decided to try this place out for lunch. Walked in and stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were even there. Finally sat down and the waitress kept doing "fly by" conversations as she was going to other tables. When she did take our drink order (I ordered a Moscow Mule) she asked to see my ID... More

And a pretty good view with the new location! You just have to try the place for yourself and you will be sold!

This is mainly a burger place with some really wild burgers. It is also right on the water, so sitting outside is a big bonus. Burgers are huge! We decided to get an appetizer and just one burger. We still left stuffed. I don't think the appetizer was even necessary, although the reuben crisps were interesting and tasty. We just... More

I had a taste for a burger on father's day and was told about this place in Niceville, Florida called "Tucker Dukes" Now I have to say since I moved down here I have been searching for a good burger...no scratch that...a great burger. Well I found it. Not knowing the hours I showed up at 7:58 and they were... More

This local establishment is located at the Northlight Marina and Yacht Club in Niceville and has a wonderful view of the water and numerous yachts docked here. Covered outdoor seating is available when weather is good. Tucker Duke's burger is huge and delicious, as are all the other various burger offerings. There is also a limited menu of other items... Fairly new business which is tucked (hidden) behind McDonald's, off of Highway 20 and Juniper Avenue, in Niceville, Florida. The chef/owner is Brian Cartenuto, a young chef who cooks very tasty, and well seasoned, food in a casual environment. He claims to cook and serve the BEST HAMBURGER IN TOWN, and my son who considers himself a burger connoisseur (and tastes burgers in EVERY town we visit) says it is THE BEST hamburger he has EVER eaten. And, it is HUGE. In fact, all of Brian's portions are very large. I can never finish my plate of food, and take some home every time. In addition to his menu, he offers Blue Plate Specials from Monday through Friday. His "Red Beans and Rice" on Monday are the BEST I've ever had. As Niceville, Fl has so few delicious, affordable and local restaurants, I am reallly wanting to place Tucker Duke's Lunchbox on the map. In fact, I plan to contact that show Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins. :-)
