They have an early bird menu during the week until 6pm and Saturday until 5pm and I cannot remember if there is one on Sunday or not. There is a fair amount of selections on that menu and the portion sizes are fair for the price. Had their stuffed haddock which was tender, flaky and flavorful while others at the table at the seafood pot pie which is quite tasty, and the asian flare to the Mahi Mahi was very good. No one left hungry and thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Service was very good but of course we were there early so not a lot of people to compete for attention by the server. Went there last year and found it to be exactly as we remembered it. We go annually when we come over this way to vacation. Live music in the treehouse part which is a bar. Definitely recommend.

Norwood’s Treehouse Restaurant is a hidden gem nestled among the lush canopy of New Smyrna Beach. The ambiance is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern flair, with the treetop setting offering a truly unique dining experience. The menu boasts a delightful array of options, from fresh seafood to savory steaks, all crafted with a creative twist. My husband and I decided to visit Norwood’s after reading some glowing Google reviews, and it was an experience that exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The exterior is stunning, with the charming treehouse bar visible upstairs and the elegant fine dining area downstairs. Parking was easy, with spots available right up front, including handicapped spaces, making it wheelchair-friendly for those heading to the fine dining area. The restaurant offers a fantastic range of seating options—whether you’re in the mood for a laid-back outdoor vibe, enjoying the lush greenery, or opting for a more upscale experience indoors, where the fine dining ambiance feels like a five-star restaurant. The multiple bars and sections throughout the restaurant each carry their own unique themes. Some areas feel more intimate and secluded, with hanging plants and the atmosphere of dining in the trees, while others have TVs for those wanting to catch a game. We dined at the upstairs treehouse bar, which was a unique and relaxing experience. It truly felt like we were nestled in nature, with a tree growing through the middle of the bar and a live band playing in the background. It was absolutely fantastic. Our server, Ryan, who has been with Norwood’s for over seven years, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. He made sure I felt comfortable with my dietary restrictions, even crafting a customized mixed green salad for me with juicy grilled chicken, fresh veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, and onions. The chicken was cooked to perfection, something that’s hard to do with chicken breast, but the chef nailed it. My husband ordered the calamari and was blown away by the house-made sauce—it was the best he’s ever had. He also got a burger, which he described as the best burger he’s ever tasted. The meat was so tender and flavorful, it melted in his mouth. Ryan shared with us that they smoke their own meats, and all of their sauces are made in-house. Plus, they are USDA-certified for their meat cuts, which was an interesting fact we didn’t expect. Ryan’s service was outstanding—he kept our drinks refilled and made me feel at ease while customizing my order, which really helped since I tend to get a bit anxious when ordering. The restaurant itself was spotless, including the restrooms, which were equipped with baby changing tables and wheelchair accessibility. Overall, Norwood’s Treehouse Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Whether you’re looking for casual lounging upstairs or a more formal dining experience downstairs, this place has it all. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch, and I can’t wait to return, hopefully with Ryan as our server again!

We met some family here for lunch. It was everyone's first time. The restaurant is very unique. It has raised decks in the treetops, and was the perfect way to enjoy a beautiful November day in Florida. Our server Allison was attentive, but quickly saw we had not seen each other for awhile, so she did not hover or rush us. She was lovely! The pulled pork egg rolls were delicious, and the smoked fish dip also earned high praise. The burgers were good, cooked and arrived exactly as ordered. I wasn't a fan of the bun, but it wasn't a big deal. The "hot" chicken sandwich wasn't great. Too crispy and big to really eat as a sandwich and we got the hot sauce on the side, which was hot, but otherwise not terribly tasty. The seafood pot pie got RAVE reviews. I didn't try it myself but I wish I could have. The menu has lots of options and the atmosphere was fun, so we will definitely be back!

We are regulars here and typically sit upstairs. The food, drinks and live music are always spot on. Berkley is one of the most intuitive servers I’ve encountered. She knows when to come by and when to leave you alone. Savannah pours a great drink. Inside is a totally different vibe and just as good.

It’s been a while since we’ve eaten at Norwoods so we stopped on our way back from the beach. I had the brisket melt and my wife had the burger. We started with the shrimp cocktail and though the shrimp were large, several of them were not cleaned very well, one had a leg left attaché and another some row. The brisket tasted like overdone roast beef with no smoke flavor at all. It was also cut with the grain making it incredibly hard to bite into pieces. The Cole slaw on the sandwich was so wet that it drenched the bread. Now several hours later I have a horrible stomach ache. The service was mediocre. The waitress didn’t even ask why we didn’t eat half out lunch. We won’t be going back. Sad this used to be a good restaurant with good food.

We’ll it seems this place is all about the treehouse. That’s the hook. But if you have kids you won’t be going to the treehouse. Kids aren’t allowed up there. It’s called a restaurant not a seafood restaurant. There are a bunch of tv’s in there so it looks like a sports bar. The menu has a lot of expensive seafood and a decent list of sides but the entrees don’t say when you get to pick a side and only some explain what comes with. The sandwich choices aren’t available for dinner either just the pricey items. So there were a few early on disappointments. The open air atmosphere starts out good until the ambience is dominated by highway noise. Fire trucks, Harleys, loud pickups all contributed to the ambience. By then the annoyances were accumulating and I about had enough. I guess I am no longer lured by the treehouse.

Tom, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry for not meeting your expectations and we regret any miscommunication about the kids not being in the Treehouse. We do also have a beautiful dinning room that is free of TVs and has an atmosphere we are sure you would enjoy. We will discuss your comments with our team to ensure such information is presented clearly moving forward. We are grateful for your feedback and we do hope you will join us again. We stopped by and had a great lunch! We got the escargot with rolls which was absolutly delicious, lots of butter and garlic (but can always use more garlic lol) to start. Then ordered the she-crab soup in a cup, and the gumbo in a bowl for lunch which were both just delicious. Our server, Ryan was terriffic, very helpful, and attentive, wanted to make sure everything was perfect! We will definitely return, very soon, as everything was excellent!! Thanks for a great lunch, Ryan!!

Have been here several times and always delicious. We started with a bowl of gumbo/it is a meal on its own! Just the right amount of heat & full of shrimp. I had the blackened shrimp with mashed potatoes & green beans. All cooked perfectly The shrimp had just the right amount of seasoning & were cooked perfectly. Hubs had the chicken pot pie & he loved it. Ate in the “treehouse”

Normally love this place. Had family in from out of town and decided to bring them here. Went upstairs and found seats at the bar, the plan was to have a drink or 2 and maybe an appetizer while waiting for our table. The service was slow. The waitresses acted like they were being bothered when we tried to ask for anything. The glasses that they brought were sticky and downright disgusting. Had to ask for clean ones multiple times and trying to get a napkin was way too hard. I decided on having Hibiki Harmony ( one of my favorite Japanese whiskeys) I feel pretty certain that what they served me was something like makers mark. I asked to see the bottle which pretty much confirmed to me that they had refilled the bottle with a cheap whisky. Once we moved to our table things got a little better. Service was friendlier and the food was good.

Early Dinner on a Friday. No wait, seated promptly by our Hostess. Our waiter Ryan was prepared with several dining options, pointing out the Sundowner Menu and Happy Hour options. Our dinner and drink orders were brought to us fairly quickly. The meals were delicious and we both enjoyed our drinks. Ryan checked with us several times over the course of the meal, very attentive! We will visit here again, we are very pleased!!

Food was fantastic! Our waiter Ryan had some great recommendations and fully knows the menu, we asked about several items and Ryan was able to describe them all in detail very quickly. We eventually settled on the almond grouper and tuna steak, both were incredibly delicious. Ryan's cocktail recommendations were spot on as well, I had never had an old fashioned and was told to get one with buffalo trace. I enjoyed it so much I had another for dessert. We will be back and request Ryan every time.

I wanted to like this restaurant since the treehouse ambience is cool, however, the food and drinks we ate were pretty awful. Everything we ordered was so thickly breaded, fried, and greasy and gave us terrible heartburn and gut ache that evening. The cocktails were terrible and we tried a few, and the desserts were nothing special. To top it off, the service was poor as well. There are so many great dining options in the area, and this is definitely not one of them.

This was me and my husband's first time here and we immediately fell in love. It's beautiful all lite up at night. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. Beautiful dacor and comfortable seating. Clean. Our server Ryan was amazing. He was fun, knowledgeable on all the menu items and made great suggestions. We had the salmon and an appetizer and dessert and several cocktails. Literally all of it was amazing. BTW, it was my birthday and I must say this was the best birthday dinner I've ever had. 😋 We're definitely coming back and will absolutely request RYAN.

This is an excellent restaurant, well known for it's tree bar and fine seafood. it did not disappoint. We skipped the tree bar as it was way too hot out and opted for the main front dining room. (they have several). It was light and airy, 20 ft ceilings glass walls and generous table spacing. We were there at 5PM with a reservation (Highly recommended) and were seated at once. There was a steady stream of people coming in!. We had the blackened grouper entree & the shrimp & scallop Alfredo entree. Both were excellent, fresh & well prepared. The service was excellent & unhurried. A first class operation all around. We'll be back for more on our next trip to NSB.

Unfortunately I simply cannot agree with the write ups. The staff were lovely, and it was the best martini I’ve ever had but our Ahi came out gray and tasteless. To be fair, the restaurant was empty on a Monday night so maybe they didn’t have their best food or chefs available but I’d never return for a meal. They did take it off the bill and we were absolutely planning to pay for it, but we expected more based on reviews. We didn’t stay for dinner.
