This had to be our worst meal ever in our many visits to NSB. Ordered the Antipasto appetizer which is described as having Artisan cheeses, cured meats, grilled vegetables for $24. The artisan cheese (singular) was 6 pieces of mozzarella, the “cured” meats tasted like...they came from the deli counter at the Publix next door and , there were no grilled vegetables that I could see on the plate. The artichokes and calamata also tasted like they came from supermarket shelves. Very disappointing. The entree veal Marsala which was terrible. The dish that I’m used to is a veal medallion or two which you can cut with a fork and comes with a nice brown mushroom Marsala sauce . The veal that I got looked like shredded meat that you would find in a Philly cheesesteak and came with an absolutely tasteless sauce which had no Marsala wine in it. The sauce, I’m sure, was thickened with corn starch. The pasta which should have been served separately with a red sauce, was served on the plate drowning in the tasteless sauce. I hate to complain about food, but when the manager (?) came by asking how the meal was, I told him. We were comped for meal , which was nice enough, but I would rather have had the meal I expected. Veal Marsala is standard fare for Italian Restaurants of Limoncello’s caliber and price point. The fact that they could not make a decent Veal Marsala was disappointing to say the least and doesn’t bode well for the rest of the menu.More

Another outstanding dinner, we stay in New Smyrna Beach so we’re close to the restaurant, it is that good. Bill was outstanding, ad is the norm for this restaurants. And while we’re eating they have live music that FIXD the ambience perfectly.

Server was doing their best but food was poor and overpriced. Marsala sauce was cloyingly sweet and chicken breast was rubbery and served as a thick chunk of chicken, not as thin tender pieces. Lobster ravioli had no distinguishable pieces of lobster in in.

Very over-rated. Server was unfriendly and we were never told of the specials. I had chicken picatta and the chicken was dry and tough. Menu prices are too pricey for the quality.

The food, the atmosphere, the servers and owners from Italy…hands down best over all experience if you’re looking for authenticity as well as ambiance…the entertainment is the silver lining…just an awesome experience! Especially on the weekends, super fun place, but still classy!

The food was good but the service was awful Drew needs to find a profession he cares about, if all the waitstaff was like Drew the place would fold. He was rude and sarcastic. Don't eat outside on patio it is to noisy.

First time at Limoncello, had dinner reservations for Valentines Day. Found this place hidden at the back of a small shopping center. We were seated immediately and our server " Juanpablo S, was absolutely a great guy and server. The food here was awesome and...quite filling. Obviously the whole staff works together they are there always observing everyone and helping out when needed. " Luigi " stopped at our table and talked a bit and we assume he is the owner. Very nice, personable and friendly an. We will be back for sure .More

We've had good food at Lemoncello's, but the latest meal was bad as was the service. The fish special was dry and the marsala was terrible. Add in that the prices were through the roof and we were disappointed.

Tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza. We went here with a party of 20 ! They accomodated us supurbly on pretty short notice. The ambiance and the family component ofLimoncello set the stage for a wonderful evening. The servers were professional and...attentive. From the greetings between staff and customers I surmised there were a lot of local people as diners. Thats always a good sign. The food was excellent, our group gave it 40 thumbs up. They had entertainment that night and it was outstanding including a live performance from one of the staff. All in all we had a comfortable, enjoyable, memorable experience. Try it you'll like it.More

We sat up at the bar and tried four appetizers. They all were delicious. Lexi and Blaze make a great team. The service was great. They make wonderful martinis. It was a fun Friday night atmosphere.

We dined last night at Limoncello South for our 15th Anniversary and I have one word to capsulize the experience – OUTSTANDING! The food was excellent from the bread to the salad to the entrees to the cannoli dessert with Limoncello shots to cap off...the meal. My wife and I both enjoyed the signature Limoncello Martinis and we can tell you that they are SO GOOD. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the EXCELLENT service from our server Luciano. He made us feel so welcome for our first time visiting this establishment. It was also so cool to hear and see the ‘Silent Menu’ choices when he wheeled out the meat cart to our table with cuts of beef that you don’t see at most restaurants. We both ended up choosing the seafood specials of the day (that we loved!) but based on that presentation of the ‘Silent Menu’, I would likely order a piece of beef from it the next time. We are still relatively new to Daytona Beach (moved to Latitude Margaritaville last fall) and enjoying finding those special restaurants and Limoncello South is definitely one of them. We have already told several couples about it today and many more of our neighbors have seen my FB personal page post with pictures and commented on how good it looks. We will definitely be back and probably bringing our foodie neighbor couple with us the next time to introduce it to them. Great job Chef Gary and the entire staff and especially over server Luciano.More
