Stopped by for Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised that oysters are on special (one dozen for $10) on Sundays from 11:30a-7p. Yes please. The oysters were shucked at the bar while we watched. They were meaty and tasty! I had a very nice house salad made up of fresh greens, parm cheese, tomatoes, avocado, and a champagne vinaigrette. My husband ordered the shrimp basket and loved it. Ten lightly breaded shrimp with a side of fries (onion rings were also an option) were fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. The service was fantastic and Donna made sure we had everything we needed including good chit-chat! We really enjoyed our experience and will return to try other dishes.

If you like oysters on the half shell this is the place to go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The $10 a dozen oysters are a bargain.The $10 shrimp basket is also a good deal and also delicious. The shrimp was lightly coated , the fries were hot, and the cole slaw was tasty.

Great local place with friendly service, wonderful food, and a fun atmosphere. Best of all, they have a good selection of gluten free items on their menu. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, had the house salad which was excellent (mixed greens, avocado, tomatoes, parm, champagne vinegarette) and shared an order of the cheese fries...dedicated fryer for those. Key lime pie for dessert. Wonderful. Will define back.

Not much i can say..we opted to eat inside due to heat, and the masked hostess gave us a nice socially distant table in the bar area. Our waitress arrived, no mask. We observed the female bartenders and other female waitresses with no masks, or masks dangling from there ears. Did not feel safe with the lax attitude. The shrimp tacos were a serious disappointment, we were hungry and ate the innards, left lots behind. Wont be back.

While down for the 500 we ate here twice seated at the bar since the table wait was fairly long. Service both nights was exceptional. My fried oyster dinner was perfectly cooked accompanied by real french fries. I ordered a special, fried grouper, at our second dinner. It was just as good, if not better - perfectly cooked fish - flaky and tender. Will definitely return next year.

Can’t believe they run a business like this. We walked in at 8:40 on a Saturday night looking to eat after being on the beach all afternoon. The hostess was completely rude to us when we walked in saying “the kitchen closes in 15 minutes and cannot order”. The waitresses were staring us down like we did something wrong!! I just can’t believe a tourist town would be turning people away at 8:40 on a freaking Saturday night! There were multiple rude people there and my wife and I walked out shocked

I ordered the fried oysters plate, it came with fried oysters, french fries, two fried onion rings, Cole slaw, catsup and tarter sauce. The oysters were very small, nearly tasteless, and over cooked. The french fries were just okay. The onion rings were something you might buy at a Walmart. The Cole slaw was okay. Overall I'm disappointed with the lunch. The waitress was very nice, and the time between ordering and receiving our food was short. Get a better bang for your buck at Boston Fish House, or other local seafood restaurant.

I was in a rib mood, and so it was we went to Off the Hook -- which has really great ribs. We used to go to nearby New Smyrna Beach Steak House for ribs, but they're now closed. We understood the Steak House and Off the Hook served the same ribs (same cook, owner?) only difference, Off the Hook doesn't offer baked potato. Anyhow, we weren't disappointed at all, even without the baked potato. In fact, I feel like I ate the best ribs I've ever eaten! I ordered the Thai Chili ribs; my husband got the original St Louis style. The ribs were so meaty and tender. Cole Slaw is worth driving over and ordering all by itself. EXCELLENT! Our server, Jen, was cheery and sweet; great job. I'll be back soon!

We visited later on a Friday than we normally go out to dinner & had to wait approx 20 mins., not too bad.
We ordered their appetizer of Ceviche ($12) it was very good! I had a burger & fries ($10) & hubby got the seafood cavatapi ($18). It was all very delicious. Our Server, Sanchez, was good but could be a bit over bearing at times.

Went to this restaurant so one of the party could get the rock shrimp dinner Arrived early for dinner at around 5:15. Seated immediately by friendly staff. Took our drink orders and delivered them promptly, but we had to ask for specials. Took about 5 minutes and we were ready to order. Ordered the rock shrimp dinner and waitress told us that it was 86’ed. Would have like to known that before the drink orders. Would have probably spent $85-100, plus tip. Spent $6 on drinks, and left.

8/14/22 about 1:30 PM on a Sunday. First their web site is advertising Oysters at $12.00 a dozen; NOT TRUE!! This is false advertising. The oysters are $27.00 for a dozen! Calamari was stringy and not good as were the onion rings. I am done with OFF THE HOOK.

Off the Hook fooled me, I thought it was a bar with food but is actually a full scale restaurant. We had some apss- Calamari & Sushi Tuna- both excellent, folllowed with light portion of fried oysters and a combo; fish, scallops and shrimp. Fish & scallops were great, shrimp just OK. Nice friendly service. Place was busty on a Friday night but still comfortable. Hidden in a Publix Mall off E3rd..

Early dinner, fairly busy but excellent service from our waiter! My husband, who has celiac disease and has to eat gluten free, was immediately put at ease… out waiter has a good friend with the same issues and understood his needs. He had the crab Cobb salad and I had the fried shrimp basket. Both excellent! My shrimp and fries were piping hot, must have come directly from the fryer to the table. Fun atmosphere, great food and service, prices. You can’t ask for more than that!

This is a lost treasure. It is located at the the end of a Publix parking lot. This is a seafood restraunt and bar that will please any pallet. The gumbo was amazing. It was thicker than a stew with great flavor. All the fish tasted fresh and everything came out hot and at the same time. The service was attentive but not over bearing. The prices were amazingly reasonable for the portions served.

We were greeted at the door by a very friendly hostess and seated immediately. Amber was our server and she was extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. She suggested several dishes since this was our first time and brought us our drinks right away. We ordered the shrimp and crab dip appetizer which was amazingly delicious and we also ordered the calamari which was great. For our entrees, we ordered the scallops with creamed spinach and green beans and DH ordered Mahi-mahi dinner (fried) with crab beurre blanc with red potatoes and creamed spinach. I loved my scallops and the sauce it came in! The spinach was fantastic and the green beans were cooked with bacon and butter. DH loved his dinner and definitely would order it again!
The atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. Amber kept our sodas filled and checked on us a couple of times ensuring that we were happy.
Once home, I read the review about charges on a person’s credit card. We checked our card and saw that they charged the meal and then there was a second charge for the tip we left.
We are planning on coming back and are looking forward to having Amber as our server again!
