Nice Beach restaurant with good food and service

We had breakfast here, the atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. The menu is very simple with breakfast basics and they serve excellent coffee and drinks. The service was very good, our waitress very nice and answered any questions we had. The food arrived very shortly after we ordered and quite good.

Best dining experience in Navarre!

We loved this restaurant so much that we visited two nights in a row. Our family of eight dined early (4:00 p.m. ish) since we had two little ones with us. The kids meals were great with shrimp as an option for the 6 year old and grilled cheese for the four year old. The jumbo shrimp grilled, fried, and blackened all received rave reviews from our group. The red fish was another winner. My husband had the Wagyu burger on our second visit and loved it. The side salads and sweet potato fries were great too. The service was beyond excellent with attentive and friendly staff. The staff appeared to actually enjoy serving their customers. We also appreciated the military and first responder discounts since our family consisted of both. Thanks for making us feel so welcomed and serving great food.

Very nice location with great tasty food options...

This is a great restaurant to stop at while enjoying a visit to Navarre Beach. The physical location is ideal and the food was wonderful. Each of us had a different entree and all four of us enjoyed what we ordered. My Cuban sandwich was very good and the Cuban bread they stacked the ingredients on was amazing. There was a guy playing live music on the outside deck while we were there. The music was enjoyable and certainly added to the beachy vibe of the place.

We've been coming to Navarre Beach off and on since 2001. Because we usually had kids with us, we mostly ate in. This was our first trip to Andy D's, but it won't be our last. The food was very good, fresh and served in a timely fashion. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms, a fried shrimp platter and a fried grouper platter. Even the cole slaw was tasty, and the hush puppies, which were on the small side, were commendable. The grouper was tender, juicy and oh-so-delectable as was the shrimp, and the fries, also tasty, were interestingly cut. The ambiance was pkeasant and typical of most beachside seafood restaurants where all the effort is placed on the food. We took pie home for later, delish. Ask for Alyssa as your waitress; she's a doll!

Great Breakfast Experience With Lauren!

Our breakfast this morning was fabulous! Lauren sure knew how to pour on the Southern Charm and attentiveness while the kitchen staff propped her up with a very delicious omelet, breakfast sandwich (almost too big to finish!) and cinnamon roll! Great job Team Andy D’s!!!

Price gouging the Tourists - and locals

Price gouging establishment preying on the tourist dollar. $7.25 for a small Yuengling draft, unless you can join for their happy hour which they claim is for the locals who might not be able to make it after work before happy hour ends. NOT local-friendly. Food is meh at best. Service is ok

Not great food or service

The food is not worth the price. We ordered it to-go. Waited for it, clear as day they could see us and knew we were there… waited for 30 minutes all the while the food was sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp. Manager didn’t care. Hush puppies were gross, fries soggy, fish not great - $22 for a not great meal, per person. I’d go somewhere else if your looking for an all around good meal.

EXCELLENT PLACE!

Amazing! Andy D's is a must! This casual dining restaurant has something for everyone! My daughter and I love going there. We always eat out on the deck and watch the sunset. We have had several servers, but our favorite is Don. He is one of the Bartender/Servers for the outside area and is so polite and attentive to everyone he serves. Just overall, a great guy!! Now, as far as food goes, I absolutely love the Nashville Hot Wings!! However, if I'm not eating wings, I usually order the Gator Bites, Tuna Dip, or the Seared Tuna for appetizers. For dinner, I usually have the Grouper, Redfish, or the Fried Shrimp. I guess you can say I kinda have my favorites. I can honestly say that anything I have ordered has been cooked to perfection. "Hat's off to the Chef"!! We always love it when our family or friends come to town because we have no hesitation about taking them to Andy D's. However, we have been so lucky that the owner, Mr. Andy has been there every single time that we took our guests. Mr. Andy is exceptional at customer service. You can always see him walking around to each table and greeting them. All in all, it's just a GREAT place to go!

Excellent Lunch

We had lunch here, the food and our waitress Chris was amazing! We had 9 people in our party and everyone liked their food and the appetizers. We had fried grouper, fried alligator, chips with salsa & queso, and fried pickles for appetizers. The fried alligator was amazing! We had burgers, chicken strips, & tacos for our meal. We also had a Bloody Mary and a Bushwhacker to drink, the Bushwhacker was delicious. I highly recommend eating here.

Great food and great service!

Our waitress ChristIna, was wonderful, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly! My wife had the shrimp grilled with onion rings while I had my shrimp fried with the French fried potatoes. Everything was perfect from the drinks to the entree! For dessert we had the chocolate cake. This isn’t your average run of the mill chocolate cake! it was full of gooey, sweet, chocolaty deliciousness! topped off with whipped cream, it was luxurious! I highly recommend Andy D’s and while I’m sure every member of the staff is terrific, Christina would be my choice as a wonderful wait staff!

The best place in Navarre

This is by far my favorite place to go in Navarre. Not only is the food amazing but the staff and the Owner Andy always goes above and beyond for the guest. It has the best beach atmosphere and always has a band playing so the Vibe is always fun and happy!!! The drinks for happy hour are priced very reasonably and the bartenders are the best. JR and Krista are always on top of it and make the experience very fun!! Overall Andy’s is the best place to go with Family, Friends, coworkers, and you can even bring your fur baby they love the dogs at Andy Ds!!!

Disappointing order

Very confusing phone call order. Lady was nice enough but was doing many things at once, asking me to hold on while she took care of the walk up window. Pizza came fast but was undercooked. Soggy crust and cheese was like a weird shred not very melted. And lukewarm. Wouldn’t order here again.

Best food!

Best food we ate. Went twice. We were in Navarre for a week and ate out every day at least once. The hush puppies are the best! The grouper was delicious. Enjoyed the Alligator Bites, too. Crab cakes are wonderful. Obviously they change their oil! At other restaurants the food was not up to par—not the quality we expect. Several places said they are having problems hiring servers and cooks.

We arrived at 5pm to find a more than half empty restaurant inside (outside was relatively full). We were there for over 2 hours with the vast majority of the time waiting to order drinks, refills and food. The service was terrible. The food was ok but not worth the cost. Do not waste your time and go somewhere else.

Difficult to respond to this review since I was at the restaurant at the time of the this review and the average ticket time was 22 minutes and no tickets were over 30 minutes. So best we can say is sorry that we didn't meet your expectations, our staff works hard to provide quality service in a timely manner.

Excellent Grouper

We arrived early on a Thursday night and there was no wait, we were immediately taken to our table. Our drink and dinner orders were quickly taken and delivered. My husband had the blackened grouper and I had the fried grouper. Both were excellent. I had coleslaw and grilled seasonal vegetables with my dinner. The grilled vegetables were just carrots and broccoli, however they were cooked to perfection. The broccoli was tender but still a nice bright green, I wish I could do that at home! All the staff that I saw, including our waitress, were very young but very professional and friendly. I hope they all have a great summer and make lots of tips! We'll definitely be back on our next trip.
