Don’t judge this place from the outside. It only seats about 20 people inside but the food is amazing. We had the corn, crab soup for a starter. Plenty of crab and very tasty. I had the red snapper plate blackened. Best I have had....Coleslaw also very good. My wife had the shrimp dinner blackened. She said it was yummy. This place is reasonably priced. The food quality is superb.More

Well we ordered the red shrimp appetizer with the Cajun Asian sauce!!! Oh my!!!! What a treat!!! We also ordered two seafood platters one fried and one blackened!!!! Oh my!!! I preferred the blackened, fried is just fried!!!! The place doesn’t look like much but...if I lived here I would be a frequent flyer for sure!!!!! Got the bread pudding to go!!!!More

We were out riding thinking about eating at the beach when we saw this little building on the side of the road. The parking lot was full so we figured it had to be decent. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw...a seafood market too. We looked over the menu which included Cajun dishes and decided in the seafood platter and crawfish etouffee We finished with six beignets! Delicious! Sat outside and watched part of a game. The seafood market was filled with oysters fresh fish and clams and crab. I plead to come again. !More

The headline here is the bread pudding. I have never before and I fear never again encountered bread pudding that good. I did also get a royal red boil and Veitcajun is the way to go. Delicious. The people were fabulously nice as well. This...place is well worth the little drive from NavarreMore

This is a little hole in the wall place with great food. Restaurant and seafood market all in one. Best hushpuppies and Cole slaw I may have ever had. Fried mushrooms were delicious and a huge serving My husband's gumbo was unlike any he'd had....I had the fried flounder which was probably the least flavorful compared to slaw and hushpuppies but still decent and I guess just not as favorable as some fish. Maybe a little spice? We will definitely come back here. Service was very attentive altho they got very busy after we came in. You seat yourself and turn your order in at the bar. Owner was very nice and made sure to thank us for coming in. Highly recommend.More

My Husband and I visited Navarre 3/20/22. This was our first stop (right as they opened). We spent three nights on Navarre Beach and two nights on Pensacola Beach. This was my Husband's favorite meal on the entire trip! This was my favorite meal in...Navarre! We shared everything to try everything. Shrimp Etouffee, ½ pound of EZ-peel Royal Red Shrimp tossed in Viet-Cajun butter, and a fried shrimp Po-Boy! OMG This is fabulous! This is on the calendar for 3/23/23. Counting the days already ...More

Everything we tried was delicious. Chefs experiment with the seafood to bring out incredible flavors. For example, the crab claws are presented in a Thai curry sauce with light, buttery sour dough bread; perfect for dipping into the sauce. The oysters almandine were scrumptious. The...crab soup and seafood eggrolls were incredible.More

This place started as a food truck and moved to building that used to be a dive bar. Perfect spot and ambiance for Where Y’at. Started off with draft of Rogue Dead Guy ale and half pound of royal red boiled shrimp in Viet Cajun...spices to share. Just awesome. For entrees we both had the seafood platter basket. Mine was fried and wonderful grouper, shrimp and oysters. Sides of slaw and corn on cob. My buddy got his grouper blackened which he said has good but not as good as fried. We also got a side of hush puppies that were the best I have had in many years. There are 3 other local seafood options in Navarre and Where Y’at is by far the best. Nothing fancy but great food. Extra friendly staff and owners.More

Gave us fried instead of the grilled grouper we ordered. But had already waited so long, did not want to wait even more so did not say anything. The grouper on the po boys are actually grouper bites. Grouper tasted fishy, usually that means it...was not cleaned very well. I suggest calling order in ahead of time. Had high hopes, was disappointed. Stopped at Publix on way back to rental to buy our own and cook ourselves.More

Where Y’at Seafood Market is NO longer on The Navarre Visitor’s Map. It now is 9+ miles north of town, with inadequate parking, NO Food truck and unfriendly atmosphere. Our group of 6 tried to find Where Y’at based on the tourist map. It is...no longer is on the map, but instead, it is hard to find going north of Navarre on Hwy 87, due to divided highway. Once there, parking was inadequate (actually dangerous, unmarked, and unsafe). When we went in, we were not greeted, welcomed or felt good about the decision to make fish purchases ‘to go’ and /or eat there. There was no food truck to prepare our meals....it was unorganized, and unfriendly. We left disappointed and felt the trip (from Navarre) was a waste of time.More
