Lunch, but not dinner

I've been to the Beach House a few times in the past year and enjoyed their burgers, salads and fries. This year we went for dinner and it fell really short. We had a long wait for a table and then another long wait for our food, but I can look past that as they were at 50% occupancy due to covid-19. The real problem was the food. The seafood nachos and the fish tacos were made of the same fish slaw. Both were cold when we got them. The fish special was supposed to come with brussel sprouts but it didn't -- it had a small plate of rice medley with a small filet of fish (too small for the price). I'd recommend sticking to lunch, burgers, fries and salads and enjoy the wonderful view.

We were expecting a bigger menu, The grouper was good and the manager was helpful in letting me have a fish sandwich using the grouper as a fish choice Instead of the fish on the menu. Calamari was good if you like the appetizer Selection Nacho appetizer was good if you like fish Also. If your not a fish eater there are hamburgers which I did not try . Prices are reasonable except if you like Alcohol little pricy. Would I eat there again yes friendly staff Clean atmosphere. One thing that would help the menu is more Selection shrimp crabmeat .etc ,

BEACH HOUSE is very classy! Its located on Navarre beach next to Springhill Plaza. It has a large deck with comfortable couches & chairs plus fireplaces which can offer heat on breezy days and are visually kool! The happy is 7 days per week from 3-5pm offering a $3 Bud Light, $4 a variety of red & white wines, $5 tropical mixed drink. Bartenders were helpful & friendly. Plenty of parking! Cheers!

Horrible service They have no idea how to run a restaurant. Our wait for a table was an hour. With most of the tables inside empty. After being called inside I asked if we could sit outside because the keep the restaurant extremely cold and they said no that there wasn’t room outside but there clearly was the restaurant was not that busy. After we sat down it took another 40min to get our order in. Our waitress took or drink order brought them right away but then didn’t come back until I asked the hostess to go track her down. We then waited another hour to be served our food. The food was very plain and flavorless and expensive. We ate quickly because we just wanted to get out of the icebox it felt like but again had to ask the hostess to track down the waitress. I was very upset with the service so I tippped nothing but when I got my bill from the hotel I can see that they took out an extra $10 so they tipped them selves. I do not recommend this restaurant

Just don’t bother....

I had a confirmed reservation for 5:30 PM on a Tuesday. When I arrived I was told there was a “slight back up in the kitchen and it would be just a few minutes so the hostess would text me when my table was ready.” I went outside and waited with multiple other people who were clearly also waiting for a table. After I saw party after party receiving texts but not me, at 6:30 PM I finally went in and asked about my table. The hostess clearly didn’t remember me and asked my name and I said I was the 5:30 reservation, to which she apologized and said things have been “crazy“ and she had forgotten about me. She then seated me immediately. The service was equally bad, and I was flat out shocked. When the waitress took my order it took way too long, like 50 minutes, to receive my veggie burger. My order was completely wrong. I asked for cheese and received none, asked for no onions received tons, ask for a Sprite and specifically said no water and I received water instead.... The list actually goes on. I need to say that the restaurant was NOT packed when I was in there, not at all. There should’ve been no reason for all of this. The menu is different from the website so keep that in mind, and it’s really just not great. There was nothing special about that food. Coupled with the incredibly long wait, and extremely poor service, I recommend you steer clear. Oh and if you think this place is on the water and you can see the ocean, you can’t. You are overlooking the pool from the hotel next-door. I would never return.

Will die of old age waiting for service in filthy restaurant

My husband and I arrived to eat and I was shocked to see the restaurant that remembered for good food and drinks had turned into a loud dirty establishment. It was hot and there were crumbs and paper on the floor. It appeared that tables had been rearranged and the filth from underneath them wasn't even cleaned. We sat down to a sparse menu and waited for over 20 minutes in which no one welcomed us or took our drink order. We got up and left. Run don't walk away!

Needs Revamp of Revamp

First off, our server, hostess, & person who came to check on dietary restrictions were all very nice. But the menu is half of what it used to be. I get small, but this was too limited. Burger dry, chicken overcooked, salad fine. All overpriced. Went thinking our vegan daughter would get a quinoa bowl but that left w former chef, & she ended up w spring mix & berries for $13.

Excellent food, great views

We ate dinner here twice while in Navarre Beach this week. We sat outside with a view of the sunset and were very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and the food was outstanding. The crab cakes, strawberry salad, burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches were all made to perfection. The prices were no higher than any other beach front property in the area but the atmosphere and the food are far superior.

Don’t make this mistake

Do not go here! First of all, it was our second-highest dinner bill all week. They had very few options on the menu. My husband ended up getting a steak and it was awful. It had no seasoning or flavor. I got a salad and it was just a bowl of spinach. I tried my kids cheeseburgers and have had better from the freezer section at my local grocer. I ordered a drink from one of the waiters in the pool area one day, and it never arrived. This place has a great location and amazing potential, but first they need to change the menu, chef, and make major improvements to their customer service.

Thanksgiving DISAPPOINTMENT

Have been here many times as locals, lunch, dinner and holidays. It has always been good. Tonight was a disappointment!! $65 per plate (which is fine if it was worth it)! Advertised as the main dish being a Cornish game hen, not part of a Cornish game hen. The amount of meat on the plate was absurd and not even enough to feed a child, it was disguised by being mounded with sides. A green bean casserole topped with canned crispy onions (purchased from the grocery store), mashed potatoes and a slice of undercooked sweet potato topped with half melted mini marshmallows. Dessert was a choice of overcooked bread pudding or pumpkin pie (also purchased, not made) Both served cold with ice cream. Our waitress was sweet and nice enough to realize that my husband was less than satisfied with his meal and had it taken off the bill. We observed several plates go back less than half eaten. You can do better!!!!

Things Have Change

I gave an excellent review 3 months ago because this place was awesome! Our servers were fast and knowledgeable and our glasses never empty. Our food was fantastic and quickly made and served. We go back this time, after telling our friends and family how wonderful it was and WOW things have changed. We were promptly seated with only a few filled tables. Our server came and took our order for two burgers, which were awesome 3 months ago, and brought us our water. An hour later we received a refill on water. Other tables who had come in after us were receiving their food and we still only had water. I was about to get up and leave when our waitress said our food was about to come out. After our burgers were delivered a table received their burgers and they had been there 20 min. Did they forget us? You would think they would be very apologetic. The burgers were not the same as last time as they were very dry. But the fries were good. We have been burned and will not return until things get better. Management needs to step it up!

One Visit Was Enough

My husband and I have wanted to visit this restaurant for awhile whenever we visit Navarre Beach and stay at Spring Hill Suites. We finally decided to give it a try on a cold Saturday evening. We were seated quickly, although the tables were full. What a disappointment! The service was terrible (our server would disappear for 15 minutes at a time; we finally had to ask another server to bring us the salt, pepper, iced tea and bread that we had requested twice), the food was mediocre with small portions (gnocchi and chicken entrees) and vastly overpriced. The bill for two people (2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 1 dessert; 2 iced teas) was $130. Terrible service and mediocre food = $130. No thanks! Perhaps management feels like they don’t have to try because their patrons are primarily tourists? We won’t return.

Left hungry and disappointed

As Navarre locals, my husband and I were really excited to try this place. The location is amazing, the curb appeal is great, the wait staff were very friendly and accommodating but unfortunately that’s where it ends. We decided on the filet and pasta for our entrees, both dishes were so bad we actually couldn’t finish. Perhaps next time we will skip dinner and come for dessert and the view.

Overly priced

It was my birthday and on vacation this week. We ate here I had the teres major steak. I was cooked perfectly potatoes were great asparagus cook have cooked a little longer. My husband had the grilled grouper he said was delicious. Good food but overly priced. Service was ok. The waitress we had took over 5 min to come back with our credit card that was very uncomfortable.

Had the grilled mahi mahi and fries. Fish was cooked perfectly and delicious. The garlic fries were plain with not much garlic flavor. It was too cool to sit on the deck but the view looked beautiful.
