What a nice surprise! I haven't been to Noodles in years but drive by all the time when visiting Naples. We made a last-minute reservation on St. Patrick's Day evening. The place was already very busy when we got there and we were very glad...we made the reservation on Open Table. The last time I was at Noodles, it was just a big Italian restaurant but now, what a change! It has a new contemporary look and has expanded its menu to also offer a full sushi menu. We didn't order the sushi but the menu looks great! We ate outside at a high table. There was live music with the lead singer singing Sinatra and a great "big band" orchestra! Even though we were outside, the bar was indoor/outdoor so we could see and hear the band very well. Folks were on the dance floor too! As for the food, my husband had chicken marsala which he loved and my sister and I both ordered a special of the night, Shepherd's Pie. This was definitely some of the best Shepherd's Pie I've had (although since it was made with beef, not lamb, it should be called Cottage Pie). The chef used shredded beef, thank goodness, not ground beef. Although this was probably a once-a-year special, it was clear that the chef is versatile in his talent! We will definitely return!More
