The Pork taco was excellent, huge meat portion, rice, beans, cilantro, sauce on a huge taco, very well done and executed. The beef taco was a total disaster, meat was dried and crisp... and that was it, a bunch of postage stamp pieces and ... nothing... else, what is up with that? A taco with beef but no toppings or extras. I threw it out after one bite. The Cuban sandwich was huge, good flavor, a bit skimpy on the meats and pickle.

This is a great place to get home style Cuban food. Cuban toast and egg sandwiches are fantastic. Cafe con leche is great too.

Delicious food and good prices

Excellent food and service. Prices are low too. We tried a Cuban Sandwich, a Steak Sandwich and the Cuban Tacos. Everything was delicious. The Cuban Tacos are exceptional!

First Time Had A Delivery

Decided to try this cuban food restaurant for delivery had an assortment of sandwiches and pork potato apps it was made without any spirit of desire I called after I received and the common answer is covid makes it hard than get out of the business

Go to Rumba pricey but alot better

Bought 7 cubans 1 espresso lady kind of soso got the sandwiches back to where we were staying unwrap my sanI swearthey gave me leftovers my port was dry though and stringy I swear the ham came out of package lunchmeat spent $62 and some change and left $7 tip boy was I sorry for that so they suck you got me once that's all you get

Steak sandwiches are dry and steaks are as skinny as the fries in it they used to be super good and moist now they're super dry and skinny

Don't go. Bad "Surprise"

This Eastern Sunday 2019 I stopped at “La Sorpresa Latina” - The Latin Surprise- early with the idea of a good “café con leche” in my mind. I regret I went, it proved to be a “Surprise”, a very bad one. The coffee was literally “unfit for human consumption”, they burned the Toasts!!, bread was black, couldn’t eat a bite. My hubby requested steak with eggs, the eggs came burn on the bottom (Black) and raw on top, plus instead of steak they gave him uncooked jam. They didn’t have fresh orange juice and their bottle brand is the worst one. When taking the breads to the trash I noticed that below the paper the containers were dirty, they had French fried leftovers from prior servings, so disgusting! The place was fairly clean but it smelled like burned cooking oil. The personnel were kind, yet they were completely lost, very young people that had absolutely no clue of what they were doing. We did not take the effort to complain. I can’t understand prior reviews, unless this place recently changed owners or maybe the regular workers were all out on Eastern Celebrations and left the business to the youngsters kind and unqualified people that surprised us.

A great taste of Cuban culture

We stopped here for lunch and had a great value meal part of which we took home with us because the quantities were huge. Nice cuban coffee too. Would definitely go again.

Surprised with la sorpresa

Have eaten here in the past, but the last two times have left me disappointed. I had the same items of rice & bistek- both times the rice taste as though it had had been scraped from the bottom of the rice pot even though it was only around 1130- ish in the afternoon. It wasn’t fresh and fluffy. The meat was tough. I don’t know where the change has occurred but it is no longer what it used to be. There are better places to get authentic Cuban food in Naples.

Good Cuban Bread

I visit frequently - several times a week. Pick up bread, pastelitos and sometimes "moros" (black beans mixed with white rice.) Of course the usual "colada" (cuban coffee in a half styrofoam cup) and cafe con leche (Cuban coffee with steamed milk.) Since moving from Miami to Naples, this and only one other Cuban Cafe-Bakery seems to be worthwhile in this area. Note: Cuban bread taste and texture does vary some days - I guess depending on the bread-baker of the day.

Delicious Sandwiches and More!

I had lunch here twice this week and look forward to eating here often. I love the sandwiches on the Cuban bread. Very friendly and fast service as well as being a spotlessly clean restaurant. I am looking forward to trying more items and the pastries! Easy parking. It is a hidden gem of a restaurant!

Huge Lunch

Stopped in for take out lunch. Was impressed with large amount of food. We ordered yellow rice, black beans, Pork, yuca & papa rellena (potato ball stuffed with More impressed with the flavorful food than the amount , though my wife & I had plenty left over for the next day. Oh yes we'll be back.
