Nothing feels more inviting than arriving late to your destination and the wait staff and cooks accommodating you though the restaurant had just closed. Jared and I stayed at the Port of the Islands resort and frequented Angler’s Cove for our stay there. Mimi, Sherry,...and Lily made us feel welcomed and gave us the scoop on the area. It was the trip we became engaged on and memorable for that and the friends we made including these ladies!More

Choice of restaurant or bar (menu is the same for both), live music in the bar, very inviting, service was good. Mixed drinks were small. Seafood chowder was more mushrooms than identifiable seafood, great if you like mushrooms. Salad bar with entree, second for $5....Hurricane shrimp excellent zone 0-5. Limited menu, online shows items no longer available. Fish fry was crunchy coating on cod. Pizza is thin crust, could have baked another couple of minutes, but we would order it again. Most of recommenced dishes were no longer on menu.More
We spent three nights at Port of Islands and ate at The Angler's Cove twice for dinner. The food was delicious and we presented, the service was excellent. We had a lovely time and would definitely stop by again for a meal or a drink...at the fun bar next door.More

My Brownie dessert was gigantic and delicious . Val and the rest of the staff were wonderful. The owner was there and talked to customers about their experience which I truly appreciateMore

Enjoyed the music in the bar with Matt, he was very entertaining and easy listening as he did not try to blast you out. The food was wonderful, our friend said ti was the best filet she has had in a long time, the burger...was huge and done to perfection. Mimi and Sherry took very good care of us - we enjoyed the Fireball shot special for sure.More
This restaurant has been here for a long time, and gone through MANY owners over the years. It has some amazing murals painted decades ago, that are just beautiful.
This set of owners tries really hard, but there is just not enough traffic to afford...the updates that it needs to make it a destination. A shabby looking but clean restaurant, sometimes a good salad bar, but mostly just average. They have an attached bar, which is dark and could be really cool, except they try to get music in there a lot (attracts a local crowd), and apparently are going for a hearing impaired crowd, since it's nearly impossible to have a discussion if you sit in the bar area, and mostly impossible in dining area - as the music is just exceptionally loud.
The menu is small, and not all that imaginative. Sometimes specials, but usually run out before dinner is done. It has so much potential! But it really needs updated menu and updated decor.More
