We used to go to this restaurant from the time of its opening. Master chef Claudio, nationally recognized , has been creating delicious meals. We always remember his signature veal with fresh morels mushrooms and New Zealand mussels among many other specialties. Last time we...visited, we were celebrating birthday and we were very disappointed with the whole experience. The only thing that was good was service Morels mushrooms were from the cane and there were only 3 New Zealand mussels within pan fried mussels dish . The Mousse Au Chocolate dessert wasn’t what it was supposed to be. We though menu description didn’t reflect dishes from the menu. Unless the quality of the food improves, we won’t be back there.More

Claudio never used New Zealand Mussels. Prince Edward Island are the proper ones for this dish. There has never been a Mussel appetizer served with only 3 mussels never mind the use of New Zealand Mussels. I do not understand your motive in spreading such...More

The food was outstanding. We had the mussels, pork chop and beef bourguignon. The Profiterole was the perfect ending to the experience. This meal was better than any I've had in Paris. Would definitely recommend.

Food was good, waiter was not. The bill said “Eddie” as he didn’t introduce himself. His pretentious attitude started after we didn’t order wine. It proceeded to him quickly taking our entire order claiming he “courses” the meals after he said “we take our time...in preparing your food, don’t rush you, and this is season and you’re early so you have 2 hrs to dine but in a short time this place will be very crowded.” He even arrogantly said “then you go online and give bad reviews.” You got your wish sir. Our meals came out in 20 minutes. It was very good. Other wait staff and hostesses were very friendly. The last straw was when we didn’t order dessert and the waiter quickly snapped our menus away and came back with the check. Oh ya, it was my birthday. Thanks “Eddie.” You still received a customary tip because I know that’s your livelihood but please be a bit kinder or find another profession. Other than that, great ambience and food (as I mentioned). Will be back but will request another another waiter (as all others appeared very friendly).More

My wife and another couple had dinner there the other evening. I would describe the food as more Mediterranean than purely French. But that does not detract from the excellent quality of the food. All of us remarked on the quality of the appetizers, entrees...and desserts. In particular, my wife who is gluten intolerant said the gluten free bread was the best she's had. The wine list is small but has a good smattering of any type of wine you might like. The service was also very solicitous. The guys running the room really tried to see to our every need. Make sure when you make a reservation to specify that you want a booth. They are cozy and comfortable.More

Waitors are pretentious and unfriendly. For a French restaurant with pricely dishes service could have been at a much higher level. Waiters were running around and avoiding our table. Bread at the table was dry and cold, when asked for more bread they brought it...fresh. They served olive oil with balsamic vinegar (yes, they call it French restaurant!) Which was semi-dry at the table. When asked for butter, the waiter ignored request completely. My $60 veal osso buco was lacking taste, meet was slightly overcooked and no famous french souses. The saving piece was polenta, it was decent. Yet the size of the dish was french (very small). Disappointing experience.More

We had heard about this restaurant for several years but finally had the opportunity to have dinner there and it was outstanding. Small intimate place but food was delicious. I had the Crispy Duck Breast and my wife had the Filet. Escargot appetizer was amazing....Highly recommend.More

Some restaurants start off strong and try less once they have a wonderful reputation. Not here. The evening was just as wonderful as it has been over the last five years of dining. We changed our Open Table reservation earlier in the day and the...change was not noticed by the host. But they quickly and happily adjusted our table when we arrived. The service was friendly and efficient. The decor pleasant. We tried four different appetizers and four entrees and all were delicious. The beet salad was fresh and tasty, the escargot and mussels were wonderful as was the burrata. The lobster was a winner. The Dover sole was fileted tableside perfectly and was incredibly fresh. Crispy duck was thoroughly enjoyed. Desserts were yummy! All was great! But it is not an inexpensive evening.More

This is one of the best places the chief and I like to go to. The food is excellent, and the service is too. James is the owner chef, and his wife Darlene runs the front of the house. The food is classic french and...the crispy duck, the veal chop, and the lobster are my fave entrees while the chief loves the pheasant. For starters, you can not find better foie gras anywhere, and the artichoke app is also wonderful. Wine list is serviceable but could be a bit better, but you I think you can bring your own and pay a corkage fee. The desserts are also special so leave some room. We love all the servers—Claude, tony, Oscar are all wonderful. You can sit outside, or inside where it looks like a real french bistro. Definitely try it!More

You may be tempted to dumrive by as this restaurant is in an old publix shopping center and it’s a gem! Food is always excellent dick or veal and the service was exceptional. It’s not a huge place so don’t expect things that larger restaurants...are doing. Support this wonderful family owned business and you will not be disappointed. The owners are super nice and usually there. The owner even tried to help me get a small stain out of my silk dress. Excellent authentic French!More

As my wife and I have aged (80ish) we order two appetizers and one entree at restaurants. Since the two appetizers often equal the cost of an entree we have never had a problem sharing the three dishes - until yesterday. Cote D'Azur charged us...a "splitting" to place the entree on two plates instead of one. This splitting fee is not mentioned in the online menu. Every other restaurant we have been to for years considers this as normal sharing; we do share the three dishes but we have NEVER been charged a splitting fee - it was $14. We'll never return!More

Split charges are clearly stated on our menu. No one has complained before as this is a common practice.

In a non descript mall in naples, we discovered a gem of a restaurant! Cote Dazure restaurant was a true pleasure...charmingly decorated, romantic, and ideal for special occasions or the company of someone special. Tony, our host and server, was welcoming and quite personable. We started...with a superlative foie gras, which we shared. I had the duck (delectable!) And my significant other thoroughly enjoyed his Steak a Poivre. The grand finale was divine tarte au citron ...All in all an unforgettable dining experience...go!More

We waited an hour for our entree because of a large party that were there while we were. The waiter didn't really apologize for our long wait, just explained that it happened because of the large party. A dessert comp offer might have been nice....I understand that restaurants are having issues because of difficulty finding employees and I certainly don't want to harm anyone's business. But how a business deals with a problem says a lot about them. That said, the dover sole is excellent.More

This small quite storefront restaurant is perfect for a quiet intimate meal. The food is fantastic and service is first rate. Our server, Tony, was personable and attentive. Our biggest dilemma was trying to select which appetizers and entrees to order - there were so...many wonderful choices we wanted one of everything. We chose the beet salad with ricotta salads and the Belgian Endive & blue cheese salad as our appetizers. Both were very tasty with the perfect amount of dressing. Our Dove Sole with beurre blanc sauce (plated table side) was very fresh and so delicious. A very good creme brûlée finished off a terrific meal. We definitely will be dining here again.More

Evening started out with a wonderful waiter named Tony who visited with us, no rush and told us he was going to take care of us and it would be a memorable evening....it was. Ordered the Domaine Girault wine and champagne. The escargot was the...best I have ever had as was the warm bread served. We ordered the lobster and the crispy duck. Could not have had a more enjoyable evening. Will be going back before we leave Naples and head back to Minneapolis.More
