Travelers' Choice
Alice Sweetwater's has been serving locals and tourists in Naples for 31 years. Opening in December 1988 serving our famous lightly battered deep fried shrimp, fresh grouper and oysters along with a fabulous pork tenderloin, fresh salads, great burgers and many other homemade items. Enjoy dining inside or relax on our patio out back. Both feature full liquor bars with cold beer and great wines. We offer a very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Come on in you will not be disappointed.

I would give them 4.5 out of 5. It is fun, if noisy, tavern style eatery. The difference is that they have numerous platters on the menu..all very good. Servings are generous. The seafood gazpacho is Devine and served in an old fashioned sundae glass....Everyone speaks well of the prime rib special . The tiny burgers are cooked to perfection (I wonder how they manage THAT ?) My favorite is the burger with perfectly cooked bacon and cheddar. Many prefer the grouper sandwich...always fresh and done which ever way you chose. If you are lucky it will be carrot cake day. Homemade, three layers, delicious!More

Have missed our favorite restaurant because of the closings due to Caronavirus. Just found out they are doing takeout. and have a family style menu in addition to their regular menu. Staff is excellent, food quality excellent. What a comforting experience with all the chaos...around us.More

Stopped here tonight with two friends. It was OK. Actually, my fresh fish tacos were really very good, lots of mahi-mahi and on mini flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas, which I was very happy about. I would have liked some more cheese on them,...but then, I like cheese. My friend J had the mini seafood platter with cod, crabcakes and shrimp, and he was very disappointed with most of it. The crabcakes were hard and unappetizing, and he said that he didn’t believe his fried cod was actually cod, as it was too soft. He also had a bowl of their chowder, which he did not want to finish. I ate some of his fries and they were actually excellent fries. My friend L had the fresh Icelandic cod, and she was very happy with it. It was served over lobster risotto and then finished with a lobster cream sauce, and she ate every bit of it. It seems like it took an extraordinarily long time to get our food after we placed our order, maybe 45 minutes. They were busy, but it just seemed like it was too long of a wait. Not the greatest experience overall, but also not the worstMore

We’re from the old country... Good Old Albion, so we know some of you Colonials may not get our humour but here goes. I found Alice on here, thought it worth a try. I am on vacation, my buddy keeps your town free of mosquitoes...so he it truly a good patron ! Wandered in around 7:30, Monday - packed. Wow, anyhow we met with the stunning Maria. Maria defines what a Rottweiler is - kind, warm, friendly with kids but takes no carp from anyone ! Perfect intro to a great evening. Shown to a table with little delay - only because there were 2 of us. Some room at the bar but otherwise full. Great server, got drinks, Hass Cabernet was good and smooth. Started with chilled oysters, accompaniments were perfect. Horseradish, lemon and spicy tomato. We both settled on the seafood casserole which was Scallops, Prawn, Mahi and Lobster. Oh My ! Spot on with good sides, baked Idaho and coleslaw. Interesting clientele, a bit like the movie Cocoon, but a definite - ‘Nice to see us, we will be back’. Give it a whirl, you will not be disappointed - no, they don’t take bookings, yes - Maria is feisty, just get on with it !!!!!!More

We ended up with a wait while our car was serviced and a local at the dealership recommended this spot. We had fried oysters, fried shrimp and the mussels. All were delicious. We were seated immediately inside at 11:30am but patio was already full and...restaurant filled quickly. Reason for 4 vs 5 stars was a bit pricey for atmosphere and quantity but quality was excellent and would definitely go back.More

Been going here for the last 25 years and always enjoyed great food, great prices and a quiet atmosphere. Now however, it’s become crazy busy with seasonal visitors and tourists. Practically impossible to have a relaxing dinner here anymore with so many people jammed into...a very small area. The food is still good but the prices have really cranked up the last few years due to the word getting out. Food gets a solid 4 star but prices and loud atmosphere gets a 2 star, thus my rating of a 3 star.More
