This meal was a highlight of our annual girls’ trip to Naples. Our waiter was friendly and chatty, frequently checking back to make sure things were ok. Each of the 4 of us ordered something different from the early dining menu (3 courses for $35) and all was good, including desserts. I enjoyed the fish soup, sea bass and raspberry flan. As the evening went on and the restaurant filled up the waiters became more rushed...so eat early if you can to enjoy the sipping, savoring and service.

Food was refine and delicious. We had soup Provence, quiche, Chilean sea bass & branzini la plancha .. all outstanding. Manhattan cocktail & Chardonnay (Carneros district) were excellent. The only let down was in desserts category. Lemon meringue was good but too much meringue overwhelmed the sweet tangy lemon. Pear frangipani tart was over baked leaving its filling dried out. Service was attentive and patio seating was very comfortable with warm heaters.

Of the several times we have dined here, this was our first on the patio, and it was delightful. Other than on Friday and Saturday evenings, there is an early dining menu available from 5 pm to 6 pm, three courses at about $40. The selections include many of the most enticing offerings from the regular menu. I chose the Provencal fish soup, the moules frites, and the apple tarte tatin; all were wonderful. The service by Ivan was professional, friendly, and attentive. The setting on the patio is perfect, especially considering the lingering pandemic, and the wait staff follow CDC guidelines. Don’t know how one could ask for more!

My wife and I moved to Naples Florida in 2019. We've had the opportunity to eat at Bleu Provence three times so far, and always been pleased with the food, wines, and service. Two of our visits were scheduled for the 5-6pm early menu - which provides excellent options at very reasonable discounted prices. You can dine inside, but also in the garden or out on the sidewalk... always a consideration during COVID. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Service was mediocre at best. We were seated and asked for the wine list. The sommelier came over once and when we said we needed more time he never returned however there was a party of 8 behind us that he paid quite a bit of attention to. The waitress was ok but also not overly attentive. We asked for bread twice before it was brought over and my husband had ordered truffle fries with his main meal. Asked for ketchup 3 times before it was brought over. My filet which I ordered medium was served rare!! However, the most aggravating part was that we were gifted with 2 American Express gift cards so we presented them for payment and we were told after the waitress took them that they do not accept AX gift cards! We had an expensive dinner that we had to put on our credit card when we fully expected to use these gift cards. They should post this somewhere on their website. Plus I forgot to state that when we got there they also did not have our reservation for the patio. The whole evening was very upsetting.

We were two couples gathered for an anniversary dinner. Bleu was supposed to be a special dining experience for a special occasion. Turned out to be disappointing. Menu selections were limited and overpriced. Prices from $38-$60 for ala carte dinners. One of our party had specifically chosen Bleu for this dinner because last year she'd had sweet breads and wanted to repeat that experience again, but this time was informed that she should have said so at the time of making the reservation, as they had no sweetbreads. Whose fault was that? So she ordered scallops, a small but overpriced portion (2 scallops?) served on polenta. Her husband ordered bouliabase which smelled so fishy the odor overwhelmed everyone at the table. My wife ordered Coq au Vin, a big chicken leg and thigh served with about 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes. Highly overpriced chicken. I ordered the pork shank, a sizable hunk of flavorless meat and au jus, with an even more sizable bone, garnished with a single broccoli floret. French cuisine is reputed to be renowned for its flavor and sauces, but not at the Bleu. Bland, boring, flavorless. Most disappointing was the service. Difficult to understand the waiter, who was from Columbia (not France). He served the bread without a knife to cut it. He served the wine but not my beer until being reminded, and still was not prompt. He left used dishes and empty bottles on the table until we had to ask him to remove them. He did nothing to clear the crusty bread crumbs from the table cloth. All this may not be uncommon at a typical cafe, but is disappointing at an expensive, high-end French restaurant. In short, been there, done that. Won't be going back, not even for sweetbreads.

For the first time, among many previous visits, we had the early dining special, which entails three courses for $35. It is an excellent value, partially because the offerings include the most popular items on the regular menu. As always, the decor and service are very nice, and the wine list is a marvel, even though the least expensive bottles are in the mid $50’s. Unfortunately, and this is a result of the restaurant’s popularity, it can be noisy, and was last night. It was our bad luck to have a nearby table that was especially loud, with high pitched, cackling laughter. I’m not sure what, if anything, can be done about that. Maybe some live, discreet music? Just a thought.

My wife and I like to bring our family to Bleu for special occasions and it is always Amazing!! We love the atmosphere and 5 star service we always receive when we visit. The wine selection is the best in Naples, and the servers all seem to be exceptionally trained and helpful with choosing a perfect pairing for our meals. There are so many delicious choices on the menu that you just can't go wrong with anything. Our favorite starters are the cheese plate and the fish soup is divine. One of us will get a seafood dish like the SeaBass and then a Short Rib or Duck entree for me. The highlight of our evening was when Clement stopped by to check on us, he recommended some amazing Sauternes and Port wines to have with our Creme Brulee. Such an amazing way to end a fantastic meal. Bleu Provence is a must for a first class meal in Naples.

We've dined at Bleu Provence many times over the last 20 years. The food is always good but the menu has changed from having a lot of French dishes to having more Mediterranean dishes. They still have escargot and frogs legs as appetizers, but most of the entrees are not French preparations. They've even eliminated the profiterole which not only disappointed me but also our 10 year old grandson who orders the dessert at French restaurants back home in Chicago. Our food was prepared well and the server was very attentive. He was especially nice to our grandson which is unusual in most fine dining restaurants. We had a good experience but the next time we want a totally French meal, we'll go to one of the other truly French restaurants in Naples.

We have gone to this place since it opened, and was one thrid its size. In the beginning it was excellent in every way. Made their own bread, owners were present and working hard. All the detail were paid attention to. Price was high but well worth it. Food was special. Now they still have a well decorated cute little spot, but the food is not better than Applebee's and it it is priced 30% too high. Service is good, place is clean, but that's all your going to get. Granted it is appealing to those that don't care about cost and drink enough before they eat to not be able to judge the quality of what their eating. Their real focus is on great wines. They want to be a great French Restaurant like they once were, but that isn't the case. Last comment; this isn't a special place, and your money will be better spent at , at least a dozen places in downtown Naples.

Decor and cleanliness was very good. Service was good, a little bit intermittent — some things served very quickly after ordering, some pretty delayed, but at least we were not rushed, so we didn’t mind. Disappointed no local or wild-caught fish on the menu. Salmon appetizer was very good, fish soup was very thin and tasted like maybe a purée of potato with a bit of lobster flavor. Fennel salad was generous amount of shaved fresh fennel, however only three very small slices of pear, and the dressing was on the bottom of the plate, with really no way to mix it with the large fennel slices so had to eat the fennel plain until reaching the bottom, where the small amount of dressing was very bland. The branzino was good, while the huge pork shanks were cooked well, however could not find any apple purée on plate and there were literally two 2” skinny pieces of broccolini. Would have much preferred a plate more balanced among the meat and sides. Crepes Suzette was one soggy, folded crepe, but just paired oddly with sorbet, while the chocolate lava cake was excellent and very light, with a nice dark chocolate flavor. So, all in all, some dishes were very good, but needed tweaking, and some were not so great. Not sure about going back. In fairness, there is another French restaurant a bit further north that literally serves the same heat and serve duck sold at Costco, complete with same orange sauce in a plastic cup, so this restaurant was much better, however I felt like there were some missed opportunities to take some of the menu items to the next level, which could be easily done. Other thing important to mention is, although the room was not full, it was very loud, to the point where we needed to raise our voices and I still could not hear the person opposite me. Heard some faint occasional music, but mostly none. The volume of the room was a little stressful. I still think this restaurant has a lot of potential and if you know just what to order and get a quieter table, it could be very good.

They have inside and outside seating. The service was great. For early dining they have a 3 course meal special with multiple selections. The seabass was great. The desert was great. It was wonderful to be able to go to the wine shop after dinner and have Jacques help pick out my selections. Even my wine snob sister was impressed. This was my 4th time eating here but never with my sisters. We will definitely be back.

Second time we visited, fish was dry and they brought appetizers and entrees at the same time. Mentioned this to server and they didn’t seem to care. Really disappointed with lack consideration for our dissatisfaction. Be wary of service at this establishment!

Bleu Provence exceeded my expectations tonight! Both the short rib and the duck leg was cooked exquisitely and the short rib basically fell off the bone. The duck leg was served with a sweet mango sauce and it was impeccable. We finished our evening with dessert and cappuccinos which were also very delicious. One of the friendliest restaurants we have been to and will continue to come back! So happy even on a busy night like valentines, they still prepared quality food!

Based on reviews and friends feedback we had high expectations going in. Made a reservation for 8:00 PM on a Tuesday and were promptly seated at a table that was a bit tight for four people. The room we were in was half full and remained so until we finished dinner. Of two empty tables next to ours, one had a paper towel or tissue under a chair, and the other had a cloth napkin under another. Service was good and prompt. Overall, food tasted good but lacked a certain freshness, herb like, one would expect from a French cuisine mainly for fog legs, The presentation of dishes varied from average to bad. A salad plate was half full and greens were placed as if to fill the space. We thought that the partner-chef might not have been in that night. We asked and were told that she was. We will probably give it another try sometime not too soon.
