About
A NAPLES ORIGINAL WATERFRONT RESTAURANT The waterside ambiance of the Dock is as compelling as its food. The Dock is a little piece of Naples’ history – in fact, for lots of locals and visitors, we’re practically part of the family. And we think that’s because we give people what Naples is all about – Bay views, great food and a laid-back attitude. Seafood has been a decades-long love affair at the Dock, an open-air restaurant overlooking Naples Bay in historic Crayton Cove at the City Dock. Here, we prepare the freshest fish with Caribbean and Latin influences; our menu also offers tasty salads and sandwiches, and tempting beef, poultry and pasta dishes, as well as innovative daily specials

The location is incredible and made for nice pictures - both at the restaurant as well as afterwards during a walk along the dock. The menu offered a great selection of seafood and non-seafood options. I had a two tiered raw seafood platter which mostly...tasted fresh. I felt that the mussels were pretty awful as was my lobster. The were tasteless with an absence of freshness. The clams, shrimp, and my daughters two lobster tails all tasted great. My son enjoyed his Sea Bass as well. The service was a 10 out of 10. Most importantly, don't skip out on tasting the Bloody Mary...one of the best I have had!More

Key Lime Black Grouper...that is all I really need to report. It has become tradition that we start our vacation to Marco Island with a stop here for lunch, and since our flight was delayed and it was LATE lunch, we decided to look at...the entrees. I am so happy that we did, and I can never go back. This meal is delicious! As always, The Dock offers great service and a wonderful menu! The only negative (for me) is that while when we were seated, every other table was being used, they soon filled all the tables, and I would have been more comfortable with the original spacing. I know that everyone wants to sit on the water, but there were many empty tables a bit back and with COVID, I would have appreciated the distancing . That said, my meal was delicious!More

What has happened at The Dock? This was our first visit since Covid began. Yes, the view is still amazing and the wait staff pleasant and efficient, but the food, at least our dinner, was disappointing. Overcooked shrimp, a "medium" burger, coming out "medium well",...tasteless fries, and two fish entrees, both overdone. The new downsized menu lacked the imagination of the old menu and the food presentation was boring. Can't blame a busy kitchen as the restaurant was half full. A truly disappointing evening...More

This restaurant was terrific. The food is fantastic and has the best seafood dishes in Naples. I started off with the Buffalo grouper bites and it might be one of my new favorite foods. Then I got the macadamia crusted snapper with mango salad and...plantains. This dish was beyond incredible. The fish was very fresh and the flavors went together perfectly. In addition to the amazing food, the view of the dock was very calming. My family even saw a whole flock of about 20 wild green parrots flying close to the restaurant while we were eating and it was so fun to watch. The seating area was a nice covered outdoor area that was very alive but also peaceful at the same time. The tables are a little too close together in my opinion but it didn’t bother me very much. The ceiling fans provided nice cooling so I was never too warm during my dinner. The service was also great and our waitress Victoria was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I love the vibe of this restaurant and I 110% recommend this restaurant.More

Had the sea bass and it was excellent. Also friends had the snapper and said it was excellent. Drinks were small for the price but the quality was excellent. Service was excellent, only thing it’s on a patio so it gets hot. But everything else...was great. Will go again.More

Great location and food. NO social distancing of staff, patrons, tables, etc. The night we visited it was incredibly hot and although there were ceiling fans, there really was no air circulation making it incredibly uncomfortable. The waiter was less than friendly with absolutely no...personality, giving us the impression that he really did not want to be there.More

DO NOT ORDER THE OYSTERS- The atmosphere and staff were amazing! That being said we ordered a dozen oysters- which after trying 1 and smelling the others were clearly rotten/spoiled. We carried on with dinner- a little weary but when my sisters pineapple sea bass...was Served on a bed of hot sause we had had enough. Like I said the location- atmosphere- and staff was incredible BUT even after we told them the oysters had clearly gone bad their response was to just send over new ones instead of taking them off the bill. Even the new ones had a funny smell. I have ordered oysters all over the world and never come across such terrible quality seafood.More

When talking to a friend in Sarasota about our Naples weekend anniversary trip, she recommended taking the trolley tour and having Sunday lunch at the Dock at Crayton Cove. We looked at the hop-on hop-off trolley stops and saw that it would be our last...stop on the tour and the timing was perfect for lunch. The setting was really nice at the edge of the docks where all the yachts were. We each had coffee and I had a fish sandwich and my husband had the lobster omelette. Mine was good - but OMG - I tasted the lobster omelette and it was superb. The waiter, who was very attentive, asked my husband if he’d like another cup of coffee. My husband said yes. The waiter left our cups and got him another cup of coffee. And then we were surprised to see 3 cups of coffee on our bill. We questioned it, but he said it was correct. So that’s a negative that will always be remembered and shared.More

Usually tight in that area but it depends on day and hour. We had no problem the day we went.
