We enjoyed the early bird special on a Tuesday, for $50 per couple. Special includes a choice of appetizer, an entree, and two glasses of wine. Menu is extensive enough to satisfy most patrons. A wonderful olive bread is served to quell the appetite while waiting for dinner to be served.
We all ordered the veal special, based upon another couple’s previous experience. We were not disappointed by any measure.

Alberto’s on Fifth is a worthy addition to what was already a crowded field of exceptional restaurants in the area known as “Olde Naples.”
We’ve dined there on multiple occasions and each experience has been outstanding.
To begin with, the restaurant’s ambiance has been carefully and tastefully thought out with regard to lighting, color palette, plenty of elbow room and stylish wall art. The elegant and functional tableware and glassware were also not just an afterthought…although my wife is not a big fan of the metal goblets in which the martinis are served.
Excellent food –fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and presented each and every time—is what elevates Alberto’s to the top tier of Neapolitan eateries.
We highly recommend both the fresh lobster salad with shrimp (with arugula, watermelon, fennel orange and lemon) or the overly generous Parma prosciutto with melon as delicious starters to your meal. Or if you are interested instead in a salad, either the baby spinach salad (with figs and fresh sheep ricotta cheese) or the arugula salad (with a simple limoncello emulsion) are excellent choices.
Alberto’s selection of main plates is wide-ranging and should appeal to most every palate: homemade pastas and sauces, of course, the freshest seafood and veal, and tender and flavorful steaks and chops cooked to perfection (I highly recommend the grilled Jimmy P Organic Berkshire Pork Chop served with yellow and red peppers and Italian sausage.)
Six desserts are available.
And as you would expect, a nice selection of Italian wines makes up much of the wine list, although there are also bottles from the US, Argentina, Chile and France.
The overall guest experience at Alberto’s is clearly very important. The staff (hostess and servers) are obviously well-trained and they do not disappoint. They deliver the finest service possible.
In sum, Alberto’s on Fifth is an exceptional restaurant, even by Naples standards.

We dined in this restaurant in January 2020. There were six people and the table was quite spacious in a very nice surrounding. The early menu (2 course) featured a wide range of salads and soup and there were ample choices on the entree side. All of us were quite pleased with the food quality, especially one skeptical gentleman choosing the steak.
The $24.00 per person is decent value given the quality. Portions were adequate for all 6 people, although some felt Albertos was stingy with its shallow soup dish. The value can go through the roof if you're not careful, as adding a couple extra glasses of wine, dessert and a special coffee can add another $40.00 to your total cost. The cappacinos are ridiculously expensive at 7.00 each...considering you can get much better quality for around 3.75 - 4.50 at most 5th Avenue outlets.
Still, knowing this, the key is to enjoy the high quality food and avoiding the costly add-ons. It's not the value story that Bice is, but the food is worth your time. Treat it as a good place for special occassions.

When we visit Naples we try to get to Alberto’s for their early dining menu! You have a choice of appetizer, entree and a glass of house of wine for $24-$25 a person. They have fresh food that always tastes delicious! We love the scallops with linguine in a creamy pesto sauce! Their salad is so light & fresh. My husband loves the olive bread there too!

Spent a week in Naples and had walked by the restaurant several times. Huge board out front advertising early dinner specials from 4-5:30. We arrived at 5:20 pm and were told the special was valid only if seated by 5:15. Hostess was rude and dismissive. Photo of their special attached. Might be great food but we won’t give it a second try ever....truth in advertising. Not so much!

We were a group of nine - five adults and four children for the $24 prix fixe. We asked our server about a children’s menu and she said the children’s menu includes pasta, chicken, shrimp or filet mignon. Three of the children ordered filet mignon.
When the bill came, it was unclear what cost what, and there were various open food items on the bill. The waitress came over to explain the bill and focused only on the adult prix fixe. She did not enter each of the five separately or as individuals- she broke them out in some incoherent pattern. We asked about the children’s and she said the three children’s filet mignon were $30 each as open food. We complained because this cost more than the adult prix fixe and then she said it was our fault we didn’t order extra vegetable for the kids so it looked small. She also said of course there is no children’s menu because it’s fine dining. We pointed out that she was the one who said yes there was a children’s menu and it included filet mignon. She said there was nothing she could do and walked away and rang up our cards. We complained to the manager on duty, Antonio, who said there is no children menu because it’s fine dining. When we pointed out that his waitress said there was, and if we knew the filet mignon was more than the prix fixe, the kids could have just gotten that and had two courses, his response was it’s not really a big deal for us to just pay the bill. After further discussion he agreed to discount the children’s meals. He then sent the waitress back, who asked what we are doing about the children’s meals. We told her Antonio aaa going to discount them. She said ok so how much discount do you want. We explained that she should talk to Antonio. And she said loudly for, well you just tell me what you’re *able* to pay. I told her I didn’t want to talk to her anymore to give me my card and get Antonio. He re rang the bill and all the open food items were gone and everything was listed as either price fixed or children meal.
After, we saw that filet mignon is not listed on any of their menus online. Curious that the waitress had this to offer as an open food item.
At no point was there an apology. This was not fine dining. This was simply offensive.

We’ve been there several times over the past few years. Tonight was an absolute disaster. 730 reservation got water at 8 pm, went to the hostess asked if we had a waiter! Waiter. Came over took a drink order now 800 pm Ordered our food every person at the table had medium cold to cold food for an entree. Send a few entrees back, no one came and checked on anything. Absolutely horrible! What a shame

We really enjoy dining at Alberto's and have never once been disappointed in the food or service. Four of us had dinner outside last night. Fifth Avenue had its usual in-season mobs and noisy traffic, but Alberto's seems to negotiate the demand very well due to its highly competent kitchen and wait staff.
First off, I believe the early dining menu, available until 5:30 p.m., is one of the best values in the area. The breadth of the choices of starters and entrees is unusually vast. The early menu includes a starter, entree and glass of wine for $29. The salad selections are top-notch and large, not just some hastily put together side salads. Among the entrees we had were tagliatelle with shrimp, pasta bolognese and salmon. I had a superior salad of organic romaine, walnuts and gorgonzola and for my main course had the most delectable filet of blackened red snapper (on the regular menu). All of our dishes were served promptly and piping hot.
There is much to choose from here, all reasonably priced, and an overall excellent value. It is worth bucking the crowds to dine here and kudos to the staff for not compromising the excellent service one always received here.

Alberto's is a favorite of our friends who reside in the area part of the year.
The restaurant is elegant with a touch of hip due to it’s location. Service was friendly and efficient throughout our meal.
We did a mix of the early dinner along with an added entree from the regular menu.
Appetizers
Roasted Red Beet Salad marinated with fresh Florida Orange and Sautéed Shrimp
Fresh Burrata Cheese
Steamed Mussels in a Light Tomato Sauce
Mid Course
Lobster risotto- this is an entree off the regular menu which we shared. It was excellent.
Entrees
Homemade Pillow Shaped Pasta stuffed with Spinach & Ricotta Cheese in a Mascarpone & Parmesan Cream sauce
Grilled 5oz Angus New York Steak with sautéed Spinach
Grilled Filet of Atlantic Salmon served with asparagus
With so many restaurants on Fifth Avenue, Alberto’s still manages to stand out.

Had dinner last night to take business clients out. This was a VERY IMPORTANT meeting and I heard a lot of great things about this restaurant. From the moment we got to our table, our waiter, Victor, completely ignored us. I can't begin to tell you the attitude we were given the entire night. We tried many times to flag him down to order drinks and he would sort of nod at us and just keep walking by. When we finally were able to order our food, that was it. We never saw the guy. A complete lack of welcome. A complete lack of kindness. All of us had stated how someone like this, who obviously does not like to work in the public eye, would pick a job to be a waiter. Our bill was between 4 and 5 hundred dollars and I did end up giving him a 15% tip, which usually would be 20%, but everyone said he didn't deserve anything. I was appalled at the waiters behavior. Seriously. I would think the owner of this establishment would want his employees to treat people with kindness and be welcoming, but that didn't happen with anyone there. This experience was beyond terrible and I paid good money for at least a decent experience. Bad, bad waiter.

My husband and I dined on 5/12 for the first time at Alberto’s. The food was absolutely delicious.
We both ordered the taglierini pasta with mushrooms and home made sausage.
Unfortunately we did not have a very friendly waiter who seemed to be very uninterested in helping new customers with the menu. Fortunately we made a good choice in a delicious entree.
As my husband began chewing one of the last bites of his meal , he felt a crunch……..he found a long chard of glass in his pasta about 1 inch long. Thankfully he did not swallow this ! We called our waiter over immediately , he actually picked up the piece of glass, looked at it and told us he would take this to the chef……When he returned to the table, he told us that the chef had no idea where this came from and turned and walked away. We asked another wait staff member if she could ask the manager to come to our table, we were trying to handle this quietly. By the time that the manager came to our table she was aware of what happened and apologized profusely. She was lovely however, I explained that my concern was that this dish would be served to other customers that night and someone could be seriously injured. She assured me that this item had been removed from the kitchen and would not be served. She took the price of his pasta off of the bill. We paid the remainder of the the check . Latter that evening as I was thinking about our experience at Alberto’s, I was shocked that they even took our money after such an awful experience with something that could have had a serious outcome. There are too many wonderful restaurants in Naples to be treated this way.

My husband and I went here for dinner and loved the food. I had a hearty caprese salad and my husband had wonderful blackened snapper with potatoes, asparagus, and lobster sauce. Yum. However, the wine, although a great Malbec, was a disappointment...the glass was barely 1/4 full. For $13, I would like more than four or five sips.

Alberto’s Italian restaurant has a price fixe dinner at 8:30 that includes a glass of wine, an appetizer and the entree. We decided to try it with a few couples. We were impressed!
The atmosphere is classic and the food was very good. I had the beet salad and the Bolognese Tagliatelle. Excellent!

First visit finally on 9/24, arrived early to have a cocktail. Tender was on point, tried a new Irish Whiskey that was on the shelf, very good.
Dinner was paced nicely, salad was a nice combo of spinach, figs, ricotta cheese, etc. I ordered the Veal Chop special, outstanding flavor, tender, very very good dish. Wife got the swordfish equally as good ( had the leftovers). Prices to include the cocktails were NOT typical 5th ave prices, regularly priced with out the 5th hype. Nice atmosphere, we will be back, soon!

Alberto’s is one of our favorite restaurants. This could have been a five star review. I made a reservation on Open Table back in February for a party of six for the early bird special, and, like always, it was excellent. Today we did a spur of the moment jaunt to Fifth Avenue, where we did Happy Hour at Bice and then strolled down to Alberto’s, arriving at 4:20. We waited for them to open at 4:30 and got seated at a table for two outside. I got the same starter as always, which consisted of arugula, shrimp, oranges, and chopped beets. It’s a favorite of mine and I recommend it all the time to friends. Shortly after I started eating it, there was a black hair hiding underneath one of the shrimp. When our waiter came back our way, I hailed him down. He took it away without saying a word. I assumed a new one was coming, and it did, but not before my husband finished his bowl of soup and several minutes passed by. Our waiter, who was walking by a while later, asked if they had brought the replacement by and I said no. He rolled his eyes. Eventually one was brought out. We finished our dinner and I then went inside to use the restroom before leaving. I decided to mention the lack of anyone saying I’m sorry to the hostess. She asked our waiter’s name and I said I wasn’t sure. She asked is it Brian, I said no. Then she said, as our waiter came in a couple of feet away, “is that him?” Well, it was, and she told me his name. I’m not giving it, as I don’t want to get him in trouble. I was hoping the hostess, who was a very young girl, would have called over a manager, but she didn’t. My gripe isn’t so much with our waiter, though an “I’m sorry” would have been much appreciated, and gone a long way, but it’s the fact that he, as well as the hostess, didn’t even mention it to a manger, who, at the very least, should have come out and said I’m sorry. Hair in food happens - it’s not the first time and it won’t be the last - but it’s the response that was a big disappointment. I’ve got reservations for four next week, and I’m tempted to cancel and book elsewhere, though at this last date, I’m not sure that is even possible.
