I don't know how Mr Tequila could have possibly had a higher rating than this restautant! We visited Senor Tequilla tonight because a bartender at a restaurant we go to recommended it. It was not a mistake. The salsa and chips were great....particularly the salsa. It was fresh and had great flavor. Our server, Jesus, was very attentive. We arrived early and had beer and wine before dinner. It was not crowded than around 5pm. Shorty after, people started coming in and by around 6:30 there wasn't a seat to be had, inside or out. I had #16. Enchiladas with tomatilla sauce. Hubby had the chicken burrito. Both were excellent. If I had any complaint, it would be that my food was not hot. The standard warning when being served is that "be careful..the plate is hot". But as I've said a million times....just because the plate is hot, doesn't mean the food is hot! Having never been back in one of the kitchens, all I can imagine is that the rice and beans are pre-plated, kept on a warmer and then by the time the entree is put on everything is luke warm. Next time I'll ask that the food be tested for temperature. Being it was a Thursday, there was live music, but more of a background level. Not loud. All in all a good experience. I'd recommend it.

First visit was impressive

Visiting this restaurant for the first time was a very good experience. The entrees were authentic, well seasoned, appropriately portioned and reasonably priced. It’s tucked behind other buildings so finding it can be a challenge, but is well worth the effort.

Nice local gem

Out of towners looking for a local flavor.... This is a great choice. They were offering a holiday special margarita and it was DELISH !! Hubby got pork carnitas in mole sauce and he said it was tender and delicious. I got a staple.... chimichanga. I asked for ground beef but got shredded.... turned out fine. The rice and pinto beans were done just right. Great place to go.

They charge for everything, extra chips $2.50, sour cream $1.00. The food isn’t good and service mediocre. Don’t go unless you want to pay extra for terrible food. No one cares when you say it’s no good. Good luck

We were just passing through and stopped here to eat. The service was really good a f the good was, too. I had the Berria tacos and loved them. My wife had a burrito and my daughter had the cheese enchiladas and they both were happy with their choice. We liked it.

Our favorite local Mexican Restaurant

Fidel was our server. He was very attentive and a lot of fun. He expertly handled our group of 11. The Patron Margarita is a go to for us. Our friend who live in Naples feel that Senor Tequila’s has the best margaritas in town. The food is always good. If you like fajita you must try the Pineapple Fajita. It’s actually served in a 1/2 pineapple. The Burrito special is very good as are the fish tacos. They serve unlimited chips and salsa. The chips come to the table warm. It you like good Mexican food, you will like this place.

Food terrible, service lacking

We have been looking for a good mexican restaurant in Naples. Based on reviews we thought this would be the one, but no. Food was bland and barely warm. No one in our party could finish the food. Not good. To top it off, the prices are high for what we received. Service was nonexistent. We will keep searching.....

Good Food and Plenty of it

Very Good Mexican food and plenty of it. Chips of course to start the meal and then the entrée. Both of our plates were large and would have probably served more than the 2 of us. If we had the chance we would have returned. It is in the back of the shopping center.

Authentic Mexican cuisine

We have been to this small out of the way Mexican restaurant several times recently and will be going back. This last visit was a little off however. Entrees were not hot which is very unusual. We are hoping that this was a one time occurrence.

Delicious authentic Mexican!

Tasty Mexican Treats

One of my favorite places in Naples to get Mexican food. The service is good and the servings are generous. The chapula is huge and delicious and I can't stop getting it every time! The fresh chips and salsa are also excellent, all of the locations are consistent and tasty.

Live Music!

We had dinner here on a Friday night and were surprised to be entertained by a live singer. He was quite good and used a band in a box for backup. Our server brought chips plus hot and mild salsas quickly. Our table ordered a chimichanga, enchiladas, and pollo asada, all of which were very good. We were impressed with our server who was friendly and efficient and seemed to genuinely care about the diners. We finished our meal with a plate of churros that were filled with pudding, drizzled with chocolate, and topped with whipped cream--yum! While we were there, several large family groups arrived and it seemed that such events were normal. Because a free dinner is offered on your birthday, this could be a tradition here. We all liked Senor Tequila's and can recommend it.

Good food and service

My wife and I went there to meet some friends for dinner. I had the Chicken Chimichanga, with rice and beans. The margaritas were strong and tasted great. They had a live singer. Chips and salsa were very good. Parking was easy. The location is a little hidden off of Collier Blvd, that would be the only negative thing I would say about the location. There is a sign out on Collier Blvd, in their defense. I would recommend this restaurant and we will be back.
