Out of towners looking for a local flavor.... This is a great choice. They were offering a holiday special margarita and it was DELISH !! Hubby got pork carnitas in mole sauce and he said it was tender and delicious. I got a staple.... chimichanga....I asked for ground beef but got shredded.... turned out fine. The rice and pinto beans were done just right. Great place to go.More
I don't know how Mr Tequila could have possibly had a higher rating than this restautant! We visited Senor Tequilla tonight because a bartender at a restaurant we go to recommended it. It was not a mistake. The salsa and chips were great....particularly the salsa....It was fresh and had great flavor. Our server, Jesus, was very attentive. We arrived early and had beer and wine before dinner. It was not crowded than around 5pm. Shorty after, people started coming in and by around 6:30 there wasn't a seat to be had, inside or out. I had #16. Enchiladas with tomatilla sauce. Hubby had the chicken burrito. Both were excellent. If I had any complaint, it would be that my food was not hot. The standard warning when being served is that "be careful..the plate is hot". But as I've said a million times....just because the plate is hot, doesn't mean the food is hot! Having never been back in one of the kitchens, all I can imagine is that the rice and beans are pre-plated, kept on a warmer and then by the time the entree is put on everything is luke warm. Next time I'll ask that the food be tested for temperature. Being it was a Thursday, there was live music, but more of a background level. Not loud. All in all a good experience. I'd recommend it.More
We had dinner here on a Friday night and were surprised to be entertained by a live singer. He was quite good and used a band in a box for backup. Our server brought chips plus hot and mild salsas quickly. Our table ordered a...chimichanga, enchiladas, and pollo asada, all of which were very good. We were impressed with our server who was friendly and efficient and seemed to genuinely care about the diners. We finished our meal with a plate of churros that were filled with pudding, drizzled with chocolate, and topped with whipped cream--yum! While we were there, several large family groups arrived and it seemed that such events were normal. Because a free dinner is offered on your birthday, this could be a tradition here. We all liked Senor Tequila's and can recommend it.More

My wife and I went there to meet some friends for dinner. I had the Chicken Chimichanga, with rice and beans. The margaritas were strong and tasted great. They had a live singer. Chips and salsa were very good. Parking was easy. The location is...a little hidden off of Collier Blvd, that would be the only negative thing I would say about the location. There is a sign out on Collier Blvd, in their defense. I would recommend this restaurant and we will be back.More
I went in with an open mind on trying some authentic mexican food all my relatives recommended, so i went and was greeted immediately with a helping hand, i was seated indecisive of what I wanted to eat. Jesus was my server and recommended me...the super steak burrito and i tried it and i can’t even say how good it was! amazing food, he mad me a patron margarita that was to die for! super satisfied with his service! definitely will be back! Just returned from senor tequilas and had the steak boritto and a margarita and it was great. Authentic Mexican food with a authentic Mexican enviroment. Service was great so all I can say is this is one of the finest Mexican restaurants.
The atmosphere is great. They have a guitar player, Frankie Ray, from Marco Island. He’s a fun act. Not the best voice but he gets the people involved. The sangria is good. A little pricey. The meals are very good. Had the burrito and enchilada....Both good tasting and large portions. Fun place.More
Frankie and wife put on a great show with outstanding mexican food and worlds best ribs.....off collier blvd behind several buildings so look for the sign well worth the visit been there several times co from the north always request it grab
Delicious and reasonable priced Mexican food. Patio bar and evening entertainment. Attentive wait staff.
