We celebrated a friend's Czech wedding with a great Czech meal. The pig's knuckle and sauerbraten were wonderful and the owner is very hospitable! If you want good Bavarian food, beer and atmosphere, this place is worth the visit!!

I was born and raised in a Czech family in Chicago.... not bragging but I know great Czech food from my grandmother’s kitchen to the best restaurants in the city. Recently we moved to Naples FL and while looking for something else we found this...amazing Czech/German restaurant. Their food is as good as my grandmother’s kitchen or any restaurant of this caliber in the Windy City. This is the real thing.... if you love this style of food, you have found your nirvana at the end of the rainbow.... your search is over!More

I saw this place while driving home and just had to stop in for dinner. Quaint little hole in the wall with a small patio and a cozy dining room. I was met with a heartfelt greeting from the owner and was promptly seated. I...started with a cold mug of Paulaner octoberfest and opted for the schweine haxe "roasted pork shank" as my main. The shank was roasted to perfection and served with a side of potatoes and sauerkraut. I finished off the meal with a palatchinka "strawberry filled crepe with ice cream" and a vodka shot. Overall the meal was great and the service was what you would expect from a classic family owned German tavern. Excellent. Google Old Europe Bistro Naples and save it as a place you want to go. Support your locally owned businesses or there won't be any.More

After traveling to Prague & Hungary earlier this year, we were craving authentic European cuisine. Not only was the food out of this world, but the atmosphere and service was phenomenal. The owner David made our experience so enjoyable. We can’t wait to bring our...friends and family back !More

We had tickets for the Comedy Club nearly and since it was pouring down rain we discovered the Old Europe Bistro and decided to try it. We were delighted when we saw they had Urquell, our favorite Czech beer, on draft. My husband got the...sampler platter and I ordered the jaeger schnitzel. Both were excellent. I’m not sure where previous reviewer experienced the smoke but we dined on January 31 and the restaurant was lovely and smoke free. The service is excellent.More

There was a haze of smoke on entering. It was a very unpleasant experience. As soon as we got home all clothes straight into the washer. It took 2 washes to remove the sickly odour. It really deserves one star rating for that alone you...need to fix it. Besides that major disaster this is a quirky simple German restaurant delivering food simple German food. Nothing fancy in its appearance which with little effort would make an enormous difference. The soup was good and the schnitzels all good accompanied by good German beers. Without the smokey odour experience it would be a 4 but we smelt like a bbq stove on leaving.More

Dined with five family members and saw and sampled a varied selection of menu offerings and every dish met or exceeded expectation. We touched on German, Hungarian, Czech and Polish fare in soups, meals and dessert and every one was outstanding. The service was impeccable...and was capped off by a visit from the proprietor. A fine place to dine.More

We’ve been visiting this restaurant each time we travel Florida and can’t get enough! Nowhere else can you get such authentic, homemade European dishes. My husband and I are Slovakian and have been searching everywhere for a meal that reminds us of our old home....We are always glad to see the owner, David, who is welcoming and hospitable. We recommend getting the Svickova, the roast pork and sauerkraut as well as a side of bread dumplings (knedliky). Also, you can’t go wrong with their beer selection, especially the Draft Pilsner.More

I don't believe there's a GF menu per se, but there seems to be GF options available.
