We went to Dorona for my husband's birthday. We both enjoyed great service and fabulous food. We did miss one side ordered but our server handled it and removed from our bill. We will be back!

We visited in December. They had indoor dining in December 2020. There weren't a lot of people dining the night we ate. It was a good experience. A bit of a wait between courses

We stopped in for dinner. It was our first time. Staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. Very nice menu with a variety of different foods that you don’t see everywhere. Calamari was tender, and lightly fried. We had a swordfish and a pork Milanese both...were delicious and I even had some left over for the next day. Would recommend a visit.More

Dorona is a step above most restaurants in Naples. The service and food are excellent and the addition of music adds to each visit.

Dorona is one of my favorites ❤ the atmosphere is lovely with beautiful decor. The waitstaff is super friendly with great professional service. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal favorites are the Arugula salad and Pork Milanese....yummy 😋 The bar...is pretty great too!! They make a good drink. Every Wednesday they have live music, currently an American Idol contestant, WOW what a wonderful addition to the dining experience. Wednesday nights Dorona will be my new home! You won't be disappointed.More

Reservation for 6:30 for 4. We were seated upon arrival. Not until 30 minutes later & a discussion with the hostess did a server come by our table. That is ridiculous. We were just about to leave when Ameilia came by & said she would...take care of us. She said the majority of the reservations (confirmed by the manager) were made for 6:30 & the restaurant was overwhelmed. Ameilia did a great job of diffusing the situation & when we finally did order & received our meal it was excellent. Bad management is not acceptable in Naples.More

Reservations were made for Valentine’s Day at Dorona’s Restaurant. We ate outside on their patio. We ordered drinks and bread was brought out. They had a full menu as well as a special for the evening. We opted for the special which included Caesar’s salad,...filet mignon with a lobster tail and mashed potatoes. It also included tiramisu for dessert. The food was excellent, and the service was good as well. A very enjoyable evening.More

Dear Donna, Thank you for joining us for Valentine's Day and leaving this very kind review. It is much appreciated!

We made reservations for a THursday evening on the patio to listen to some jazz and have dinner. First time visiting Dorona although we have been to Barbatella and Sea Salt many times. Service was excellent. We were seated quickly and safely on the patio...where the tables were socially distanced. All staff were wearing masks. Our waitress arrived quickly and took a drink and appetizer order. She was very pleasant and very efficient. The drinks and the appetizer (Calamari) arrived promptly. The dirty martini was perfect and the calamari, a tad over done, was good. The zucchini and red pepper strips were done perfectly. The waitress returned to take our order (Arugula salad and Gnocchi; Wedge salad and baked swordfish) as we were finishing the appetizer. Warm bread was also delivered by a bus person. The salads were excellent. The wedge was deconstructed into 2 pieces rather than a huge wedge on the plate. That made it a lot easier to eat. Very good dressing and blue cheese crumbles on top. The Arugula salad was about the best we've ever tried. Just perfect. As we finished our salads and listened to some very good music from the duo performing just inside the door, the waitress stopped by to tell us our entrees would be up in just a few minutes. When they arrived, we were amazed. The gnocchi were covered in a very tasty pesto type sauce and covered a very large plate. Mixed in were many medium shrimp. The gnocchi were done perfectly, not chewy and not soggy. The sauce was flavorful but not overpowering. All in all, an excellent choice. The baked swordfish was covered in artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, and lots of shrimp, and then layered in what looked like a tomato cream sauce. The fish was done perfectly. Not over cooked but not gelatinous in the middle. It was also a large piece, about 5 by 3 inches and at least an inch thick. It was just about the best swordfish I have ever had anywhere. I would definitely recommend it if you are a fan of seafood. Overall, the entire dinner took less than 90 minutes. We never felt rushed and never had to wait a long time between courses. Our waitress did ask about dessert, which we had to decline due to the great dinner. A cup of coffee did arrive promptly and was excellent. Our waitress delivered the check which included a QR code to scan and pay online to avoid any contact with our credit card. A nice touch. During our meal we also watched the bus staff disinfect a table after some patrons had finished their meal and left. With the masks, distanced tables, and disinfection we witnessed, we felt safe. We will be back to a new favorite.More
