I haven't made a habit of reviewing restaurants, but I felt that sharing a few comments about Namba would be helpful. First, the food was good, above average, really. We dine exclusively at vegan restaurants but enjoy including fish with our meal choices. The vegetable sushi with beets was excellent, as well as the vegan ramen and we would recommend those. The letdown and the reason this restaurant scored a four is that although the service was friendly, it was too pushy and in your face for comfort. However, worst of all was that the server added a tuna sushi to our order in addition to the tuna belly sushi that we ordered. Frankly, we wouldn't recommend either sushi. Finding that an item arrived at our table that we didn't order soured the whole experience and left us with a bad aftertaste. Was it deliberate? Accidental? We don't know. We didn't want to argue about it. All in all Namba seemed like just one more sushi restaurant whose popularity has eclipsed its competence.

We happened to walk by the Namba Ramen & Sushi restaurant while vacationing in Naples and were surprised to see crowds gathering outside of a fully occupied restaurant. So, we tried it for lunch the next day. (By the way, this restaurant fills up for lunch, too.)
Every single menu item that we tried was wonderful. Not good, WONDERFUL! The wait staff was very good and made numerous helpful suggestions as we navigated through the menu choices.
We will most definitely go back to Namba next time we visit Naples.

Been to Namba numerous of times but haven’t had the chance to review the place. Once I walked in it was small and cozy was greeted with a smile. The service is nice and friendly and thats a plus. The food was phenomenal, started with some appetizers the grilled octopus was good and tender wasn’t chewy at all like most restaurant I went to, then i ordered the gyoza it was so tasty as well. Then we went on to the ramen, I ordered the hokkaido and my friend ordered the classic both was delicious it was very flavorful like how i expected. Then we ordered the sushi it was so good and fresh. We ended getting green tea brulee to share for dessert that was delicious as well so nice and creamy. We are satisfied with Namba so we will be back again to try other stuff on their menus. Keep up the good work Namba.

We were so looking forward to dining here after reading the reviews. We started with the grilled octopus and brussels sprouts. The octopus was delish but the sprouts very sweet. The ramen classic was gross. There were pieces of pork fat that were floating and the broth tasteless. The waitress heard our comments from the small podium and quickly brought us soy sauce and a small vial of orange salt for us. It did not help. We are foodies and love to travel- this place was a disappointment.

Once again Trip Advisor came thru with a wonderful recommendation. While in Naples I was looking for something different and read the reviews....which were absolutely spot on. Since they don't take reservations we got their just before they opened and were seated immediately, within 10 minutes the place was absolutely packed but we never felt rushed by the waiter as a line outside began to quickly build. The food was as good as the service and we enjoyed every bite. We will definitely add Namba to our Naples list of favorite restaurants.

I Google a Sushi restaurant during our weekend in Naples, because I wanted to explore other places away from 5th. It cut my attention the 4.5 starts review so I decided to take my boys to try it. The moment we arrive the vives of the restaurant was electric, the decoration simple and welcoming. The hostess and waiter where so nice and welcoming. The waiter was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining every aspect of the menu and the chef. When the food arrived we where impress nor only at the presentation but the taste and freshness for the plates was impressive. Highly recommend this NAMBA Sushi place.

We had an absolutely divine dining experience! Our waiter, Ivan, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and made amazing recommendations based on our preferences and tastes. We had to wait a bit longer than was projected but they treated us to a bottle of sake while we waited so we were quite pleased with their customer service. The food was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Possibly the best dining experience we have had in recent years in Naples. Everything was absolutely fresh, delicious, and well prepared and presented. We were very pleased at their attention to detail and care even with the restaurant being absolutely packed to capacity. Can't recommend enough.

If your idea of ramen was from the 15 cent packets, like mine, this place will blow you away. It was recommended by friends who accompanied us and new the ropes. We took their suggestions and were not disappointed. Also the wait staff were very good a helping sellect. This is not an inexpensive Asian restaurant, but worth a night out.

Will definitely be on my go-to place from now on. Asking the server for recommendations, we loved everything we ordered. Their Ramen is especially wonderful. They open at 5pm and a line forms outside by 5:30 or 6pm, so heads up if you want to get in this increasingly popular restaurant!

Social distanced done right, indoor only but tables were well spaced out. Plates and dishes and soy sauce were wrapped. One-time use paper menu.
Tried 2 out of the 3 styles of ramen and were delicious (having been to Japan and many Asian countries) Uni was fresh and seared scallop sushi was great. Sushi chefs were very diligent and like artist expertly plating sushi, flowers and garnish on the plates. Matcha creme brûlée was extremely tasty which was complimentary and surprisingly tasty.
Tips: Sit by sushi bar (don’t worry there is a partition between chefs and the bar is extra wide) and watch the chefs at work they are mesmerizing

Came across Namba by chance and decided to walk in. The ambiance is top notch and decor perfect for the space. We received a welcoming greeting from the entire team when we walked in and were graciously seated. Upon learning that it was our first time visiting, Monica could not have been any nicer. She took the time to explain the concept, sauces and what makes Namba so special ... because it truly was and you have to know why to appreciate if fully.
The food (we tried Ramen and Sushi) was spectacular but what made the experience great was Monica. She made recommendations based on dietary preferences suggesting exactly what we wanted to eat with in-depth menu knowledge.
We have already started to tell everyone about our experience and will be back. Thank you!!!

Sham weather too humid to sit outside and a/c-humidifier too weak to be inside. Decision? Ate outside and flies/no-see-ums came in when food dishes were brought to the table. No fans outside as no plugs available.
While wait service staff were very pleasant, this didn’t override the super slowness of starters or entree deliveries. Food was tasty, the ingredients blended together. Hand rolls (similar to a Japanese roll) and the Ramen entrees was delicious but nothing standing out of them from other Ramen eateries I’ve visited.
Menu has only several choices in each category (ie: Starter, Small Plates, Rolls, Sushi, Ramen).
For those COvid concerned: inside tables are super close and young patrons. No masks anywhere.

This has to be the best meal I’ve had in a very long time. The service was excellent, the presentation was impeccable, and the food was sensational. Karaage chicken, waygu gyoza, Hokkaido ramen, and all of the aburi options were all absolutely insane. Check this place out! You won’t be sorry.

Was craving Aburi Sushi so I drove from Fort Myers on my day off to make sure that I could eat dinner at this intimate eatery located in a nondescript strip mall near Vanderbilt Beach Road. When the doors opened at 5:00, several people were waiting in line. Inside is very clean, modern and intimate. I think there are approximately 10 or so tables. There were a few tables located outside. The sushi bar had seating for four. No tables were blocked off inside and the servers wore masks. I indulged in melt in your mouth toro (fatty tuna) sashimi and Japanese uni. The uni was sweet and so fresh. I ordered all of the Aburi Sushi which included wagyu beef, Hokkaido scallops with plum butter, hamachi yellowtail with an uni purée, and salmon belly with black truffle oil and roe. There was a limited cold sake selection. Service was attentive and friendly. Water glass was filled many times. Tables were a bit close for comfort during a pandemic and that is why I chose to be there when the doors opened. This popular restaurant gets crowded quickly and it doesn’t take reservations. I will endure the drive because the restaurant has the best sushi in SW Florida, in my opinion.

Amazing restaurant hidden away in a strip mall near a Publix. Sushi and Nigiri was phenomenal. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. We went back the next day to try the Ramen and were equally impressed. The waitress suggested adding onions and a special seasoned butter and it really elevated the flavor. I could not recommend this restaurant enough.
