Christmas Eve dinner 2024 was a real treat. Lima is a legitimate Peruvian restaurant with terrific regional menus and amazing service.
Don’t be intimidated if you haven’t experienced Peruvian cuisine. Lots of familiar choices from seafood to meat to salads. We loved the ceviche done 3 ways, grilled octopus and the grouper was fantastic.
Nice outdoor dining area as well as well-spaced inside dining. Highly recommended.

Excellent dining experience for our group of six. Hidden in back of strip mall but charming inside with small lake next to outside dining. Prices moderate, entrees $24-$28. House wine very good and only $8/glass. Waitress tried but seemed overworked and inexperienced… her correction of errors and slow ordering actually gave our group a chance to converse peacefully and uncrowded (good spacing). 5+ stars on food, which will bring us back very soon. My fish soup (entree/tomato based) was outstanding. I couldn’t finish it despite no accompanying crusty bread - fish/calamari/shrimp al dente and full of flavor. The shared octopus and lamb shank were superb and with flavors I had not experienced before. We did not try dessert. This is a “must try” restaurant experience on those nights you want something “different and memorable”

We arrived early for a 5:30 reservation and were lucky enough to sit at the bar with Juliana as our bartender. You’ll never meet a more engaging enthusiast person and her love for her birthplace of Lima, Peru came shining through. From explanation on the national drink to diving into the menu items, she was the consummate host.
We ate outside - great food, drinks and decadent dessert
Definitely a winner! Thanks Juliana.

Based on a recommendation we went to the restaurant for dinner. We also check the webpage which looked very inviting. We ordered ceviche which was nicely presented. But it was not eatable because the raw fish was very chewy. When mentioned to the waiter she ask if we want a box for taking it home!!! The same happened to us with next plate. The meat of beef tenderloin ordered was chewy again and not eatable. So we gave the plate back and no one was interested to ask why the plate was returned. We paid and left. This is not a restaurant we can recommend at all. The fish and meat quality they serve is very chewy and does not meet the quality you would expect. Furthermore the service personnel is not reacting to the raised issues. This is the last time we visited this restaurant.
A very disappointed customer: Thomas

First of all the dining room is lit like a Perkins or a cafeteria. It’s too bright, which doesn’t go with the linen tablecloths. They don’t understand ambiance. We changed our table a couple of times trying to find something comfortable. We tried outside as well but we were seated all the way at the end and it was cool. They had other outdoor tables with heaters but they would not seat us there because they were understaffed and didn’t have a server for the section we wanted. So instead of accommodating us are choices were to dine outside and shiver through dinner or inside under bright lights. We suffered through the bright lights. The wine selection was seriously lacking, as there’s very little to choose from, we settled for a bottle of Justin, we would never have ordered. They served us our wine in giant water goblets- the kind you would buy at the dollar tree! We requested wine glasses and the server stated that they were wine glasses. No, they were not! Appetizers, the calamari comes with tarter sauce. Tarter sauce? The menu says dipping sauce, I don’t consider tarter sauce a dipping sauce for calamari. We ordered the beef tenderloin skewers, they are $24.00, a bit pricey for an appetizer at Perkins. The beef skewers were delicious and the only redemption of our night. Dinner was the grouper and let me say I’ve never had a grouper meal anywhere in Florida that wasn’t good until I got one at Lima . It was over cooked and lacked any flavor! I sent it back and they returned with another poor grouper disgusting meal! I could not eat it at all. I ate the side salad only. The restaurant charged me half price for the dinner which is unacceptable. I will Never return here. Our friends had the octopus which was also over cooked and rubbery and the beef tenderloin, which he stated was okay. This restaurant is a disappointment!

Hello Laura, we’re sorry you weren't pleased with the experience at our restaurant the other night. We take into consideration every piece of feedback that we come across and we also ask our staff about every table in order to provide the best experience.
As we answer to your husband’s review on google, in this particular situation, we spoke to the host and the 3 servers that approached your table in different occasions and were surprised to hear about your demands and complaints from the moment you arrived, such as changing tables three times.
Although we’ve never had a complaint about the lights being too bright in the first and third table you sat, we’ll definitely take it into consideration and correct that situation, if necessary. On the same note, there must have been a miscommunication about the situation in the patio since the only table available that could hold a party of 4 and was fully covered in case of raining was the one your party moved into.
In addition, our wine glasses are 12oz all-purpose wine glasses and the size doesn’t deter them from its purpose.
Changing subjects, we are glad you liked the anticuchos appetizer since it is a very traditional peruvian dish and, on the same note, the tartar sauce that came with the fried calamari is considered a dipping sauce in PerĂş and since we are a peruvian restaurant, we do not serve dippings sauces or snacks from other countries.
Lastly, we do regret that the dishes you ordered as main courses (pan seared grouper with salad) were not how you expected them to be, however there are many options in the menu to try that are more representative of Peruvian cuisine.
We take pride on the team of people that work for us. Thank you for your review as we are always looking to improve ourselves.
All the best to you.

The dining room and particularly the patio are very nicely decorated. This place is a bit difficult to find as we didn't notice a sign and it is located in the rear of an office complex. The server was courteous, but very difficult to understand. The complimentary appetizer of corn nuts wasn't really worthwhile, albeit authentic. I had a Peruvian beer that was improperly fermented and/or bottled. I tried to pour it and it foamed over the top and was overly priced. The pan seared grouper was cooked perfectly, however, the portion was very small. The included salad was served on the entree plate which was a disappoint as well. My friend had the lamb shank and I noticed he had trouble chewing it due to the amount of fat. Also, he wasn't enthused. However, he did inform me later that it tasted better as leftovers than when first served. I would have liked to try the Ceviche, but was concerned it wasn't enough as a stand alone entree. This is definitely not the best seafood restaurant in Naples, not by far. The atmosphere and service were good. My primary concern is the portion size for the prices.

We experienced the worst service we have ever found in a Naples restaurant at Lima.
We ordered a salad with no onions and received one covered in onions. The waiter just shrugged his shoulders and said “my mistake.” When dinner was served we asked the server to tell our waiter we wanted to order wine. She spoke into some device and left. It was so long before the waiter arrived we were almost finished dinner. Celebrating a birthday, we did want to order dessert and gave the waiter an order for Chocolate Cake. In close to 15 minutes he returned and asked if we ever got the cake. We canceled that order and asked for the check. These people are so tuned into their walkie-talkie communications they have no idea what is going on at the table.
The poor service ruined it for us.
Been there, but not returning.

Lima is a fairly large, very attractive restaurant with great service. We passed on the Pisco Sours, but the grouper ceviche was delicious as was a chicken entree served in creamy sauce with hard boiled eggs and olives. We also loved the octopus. They offer a good variety of choices. Easy parking in their small mall location about a 15 min. drive from Old Naples.

Take a step out of your comfort zone and come and enjoy the vibrant tastes of Peru. When first entering the establishment you immediately see an elegant restaurant setting. We were started with a small soup which I can't describe except for how tantalizing it was. For our appetizer we had the Civichie Clasico w/ grouper and it was prepared to perfection. We followed with our Entrees the Grilled Octopus and the Macho Fish of which both did not disappoint. We shared a Passion Fruit dessert and it was delicious. We want to return so we can try other entrees on the menu.

We ordered the beef tenderloin appetizer and it was so amazing, we regretted not ordering two! the main meals were so flavorful snd portions generous. Fish was perfectly prepared. We have eaten many cuisines around the world and loved this oasis so much, we are already planning our next visit. We remembered the Pisco sour from a visit to the other location snd cooking class in 2018 and it lived up to our memory!
Our server was from Peru and gave insightful explanations on the nuances of different dishes. They created a lovely outdoor spot on the back patio!

The food was excellent. The waiter patiently explained the drinks and entrees and quickly brought out complimentary appetizer and soup. The service for drinks and main courses (a grouper and a seafood stew) were a bit long but the flavors were worth the wait. All the deserts sounded fabulous and our choice - a meringue and dulce de leche creation - was a hit.

Located between Marco and Naples is the hidden gem of the area. The owners take meticulous care to assure that everyone's meal is perfect. Food, service, and ambience are all top notch. The pricing is low for what you get! I was a little hesitant in ordering from a traditional Peruvian menu but want a surprise to find out how great all the dished are.

Our waiter, Josh, made the best recommendations for appetizer, entree and dessert! Everything was excellent! The meat in our appetizer (Antioch de carne) and entree (seco de. Cordero-lamb) was so tender, it fell is the bone and the flavors were incredible! We tried the flight of gelato-exceptional flavors! We’ll recommend this restaurant to our friends and we’ll be back when we’re in the area!

Lima Restaurant & Pisco Bar is one of Naples' hidden gems. We sat in the outside courtyard which is charming. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the Peruvian specialties. Pisco Sours were awesome, the calamari is some of the best we've had in Naples. The ceviche also very fresh and tasty. Highly recommend !
