So happy to finally get another quality restaurant in the area! I dine here frequently, and have only had 1 'off' experience that dealt with service and supply issues. I will not let that affect my rating, as all my other visits were phenomenal. Muffuletta, raw oysters (when they have horseradish), fried shrimp, pimento cheese, smoked fish dip, and their crawfish/pimento burger are all outstanding! Fries are crisp and well seasoned. They also have a decent beer selection. The only con to this place is their seating. They have THE MOST uncomfortable bar stools and table seats! However, that doesn't stop me from coming back to appease my cravings. I tell everyone about this place!

Cosse's offers a variety fo seafood in addition to gator and frog legs. Their fried shrimp is very good, along with raw oysters. We enjoy frog legs, as you don't see those on too many menus around town. The service could be a little bit more attentive at times, but I'm guessing other restaurants and businesses are having staffing issues.

What a great little find! We had the smoked fish dip and oysters baked three ways. It’s a Louisiana-style menu and flair. Blues music played softly in the background. It was a thoroughly delightful experience.

The same ol cosses! The staff seemed inexperienced and lost. Our waitress was more interested in her friends at another table than our meal. Ordered a half dozen baked oysters, and the Atchafalaya fish for both of us. We waited and waited for the oysters. Finally about thirty five minutes later they showed up!!! The oysters had a ton of fragments in them! Then a few minutes later our main dish showed up and it looked cold and was! I am sure it had been sitting back there forever! It was gross! The sauce had cooled to the point of coagulation and looked like jelly on top of the fish! Also the rice was cold and for whatever reason the rice was covered in cold greens and I mean covered covered you couldn’t even see the rice! Bad service and once again no manager or supervisor to be seen!!! Typical for what this restaurant has become! SAD used to be a fantastic place!

Our group ordered a shrimp po-boy, shrimp and grits and beer cheese soup. The po-boy sandwich was very good. Unfortunately, the shrimp and grits as well as the beer cheese soup were both absolutely horrible. The beer cheese soup was so oversalted that it was inedible. The shrimp and grits were simply disgusting. Besides the grits being extremely runny, they had so much black pepper that we could not finish them. I will also say that the service was very good. Our service was prompt and the server was kind and professional.

We stayed at this casino for two nights. The hotel room had spider webs, the staff was upleasant & we were billed twice for the same room. When I got home and checked my banking account, Caesars Tunica actually deducted the hotel charge from my bank accont two times all the same day. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies.

Very bad food, bad service. Tried a second time to give it the benefit of the doubt. No way - worse than the first time. Wish Milton could get a decent restaurant but this one will give it a bad name. Waitress couldn't get the order straight and the food when it arrived looked inedible and tasted just as bad. DON'T GO HERE!

We ate a late lunch around 2:00. The place was not crowded. We waited about 10 min before we were noticed/seated. Server was quick to take orders, but never came back to see about us until we were ready to leave. We had to ask another server for drink refills. Desert? Never offered. The food was delicious. We had sautéed crab claws and alligator bites. Dinner was shrimp and chicken tenders which were very good. I wasn’t too impressed with the side salad which was shredded lettuce with some cheese and crumbled up bacon on it. Would I go back? Yes, if nothing else, for the food

Definitely NOT operating at only 25% capacity. ZERO seating was removed from the main dining room and two tables were back-to-back. From what I could count, 7 chairs removed from the front dining room. No paper/disposable menus, got handed the same old, tired laminated menus they had last year. (Wonder how often those get disinfected?) Hostess was not wearing any face covering or gloves. Neither was our waiter. We started out with the Smoked Fish Dip. I've had much better. Tastes like someone put a couple of drops of liquid smoke in a can of tuna fish. Save your money. We both had the Turtle soup, seemed a little heavy on the worchestershire sauce, but not sure I've ever had turtle soup before so nothing to compare it with. I had the oyster po boy, it was OK. My wife had the fish basket and said her fish was perfectly done, not greasy and delicious. Really can't think of a reason to ever go back.

Stopped here on the way out leaving Adventures Unlimited. This place was what we needed to get us back on the road for 5.30 hours. Server Austin was just fine and the food was flavorful. We had the Crab, Spinach and Herbsaint Oysters 🦪 on the half shell yum . Crab and Corn Bisque was delicious. No one liked the Turtle Soup. But we never had it before either so. Husband had the combo pick 3 delicious and no one was a fan of the gator bites either. All in all we still give it 5 stars. Tea was good and the beer wasn’t as cold as I like it but I also got 1 to go.

I’d like to give them a better rating but I can’t. Their homemade fries are frequently not completely cooked they and actually are cold in some areas. I love some of their specials but they will have it once and you go back for it and they don’t have it. Have called for several weeks and ask before I go but they are out! Stopped trying.

This place was good. I was here on work and the hotel recommended it. I liked that it was no frills, good food kinda place. I sat at the bar, was disappointed that I couldn’t get oysters (due to recent hurricane), but this certainly wasn’t a deal breaker. I had the gumbo to start with and it competed with some of the best I’ve had. Full of meat and veggies, lots of good spice, served with rice... just good and traditional classic! For my entree I had blackened shrimp and the Mac n cheese. I’d say there were about 12 shrimp and a large helping of the Mac n cheese. It was good, clearly home made because it was swimming with the butter haha but idk how anyone could finish it all. The waitress/bar tender was super nice, and I thought the prices were fair for what you got! I’ll probably return next work trip, and hopefully they will have oysters again!!

Nice shack style place, portions ok, food nice but not as Creole or Louisiana as hoped, usual fried fish, fried shrimp, fries sort of affair. Oysters were ok, but not as plump and juicy as I’m use to. No Gator available either. Nice to visit though, but won’t be returning.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. The meal was terrific - excellent seafood! I had the blackened triggerfish and he had the fish entree - both were great! We shared the crayfish étouffée, and it was the best I've ever had. Service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Stop here for a meal the next time you're in Milton.
