Beautiful little shop with a perfect patio for visiting with a friend. The store had lots of organic, earth friendly offerings. The colors and aromas were delightful. Beautiful little bakery and coffee bar with lovely options.

Very welcoming and super nice. The coffee was fantastic, the quiche and spinach pie were wonderful, and the sourdough bread was to die for. Would highly recommend and will be coming back!

Today I bought a $3.00 coconut shortbread cookie that taste like it was a day old. I've had it before a found it chewy and delicious. This cookie was thicker and dry and hard. My other go to items tasted just fine. The chess square and carrot cake were very good. The wait time today was easy breezy, but most... More

Friendly staff, it was late afternoon so the baked goods were sparse. The coffee was excellent. The interior was cool, clean and pleasant.

Was looking for a cup of coffee and found this cute little place. The pastries were amazing looking I had to buy a couple to try. Coffee was great as were the flavoring choices if you like coffee that way. Organic bread on weekends from the oven out back - definitely worth a stop.

We decided to drive through Micanopy on our way to Gainesville . We spotted this quaint looking building and pulled in. Glad we did, excellent coffee and sourdough rye bread. It's worth the little detour off of 441.

Located in a restored cracker farmhouse in the sweet, historic town of Micanopy, Florida, the Mosswood is a charming place to while away some time. There are porches front and back and a Brooklyn meets old South vibe. Did I mention the breads, pastries and coffee? Supurb! Go for the bear claws, the Portuguese torts or the cinnamon rolls.

Though they have a very small inventory, they carry high quality locally made products... soaps, salves, textiles, honey. The clearly use recyclables, sustainable practices and serve delicious coffee and treats, too. Very impressed and can't wait to go back.
