This is a place we look forward to, for taking a break from a grind on I-75. It's a bit off the road but more than worth finding for a quick bite or poking through a couple of nearby stores under the hanging moss, instead of baking at a highway rest stop. The sandwiches bring us back, year after year.... More

Decent menu but the key is the service. Very nice people. We sat outside and had the salad, ham and cheese and the Ruben. Good portion and very fresh. The big trees made it comfortable, lots of seating. Some neat shops nearby which draw lots of visitors.

Neat place to eat in a quaint setting; my wife and I really enjoyed the Cuban sandwiches. Better than back home in Tampa. We will be back again.

Not only are the sandwiches delicious but the atmosphere is great. There's a little shop included and the gardens around the eating area are sweet. Service was good too.

Reviews on TA and other travel publications suggest that this is the home of fantastic sandwiches and delectable blueberry pie. The chalkboard on the sidewalk also advertises the famous blueberry pie, Cuban sandwiches and black beans and rice. One glance of the restaurant discouraged us from ordering either of only two sandwiches on the board. Neither of us care for... More

Heading down I 75 and using the "near me now" feature this little town came up so we took a chance and made a 10 minute detour off the interstate and boy I'm glad we did. Had the Cuban sandwich which was pretty good. Needed more mustard and pickles to be perfect. And the Cuban black beans over yellow rice... More

Stopped here after lunch. We had a piece of pecan and blueberry pie. The blueberry was fantastic. We sat outside under the old oak trees.

Stopped into this cute cafe and got a Rueben that was awesome. Enjoyed the atmosphere but what is not to be enjoyed in Micanopy!

Staff was great, our family of five was welcomed and lunch was served quickly even though it was a busy Sunday at noon. The key lime pie was incredible. Huge portions and again, very inexpensive without sacrificing quality.

Ate here 13 years ago when we stayed @ herlong mansion for the weekend...just went back today because I HAD to have that cuban sandwich...and it was even better. They serve salsa and sour cream w/black beans and it even improves the taste...you will not be disappointed. Its a small place and you can shop the antiques while you wait..most... More
