This small, eclectic store has wonderful sandwiches at reasonable prices. The Cubans are some of the best I've had. They also have a limited amount of desserts that are as good as the sandwiches. The coconut cake is my favorite. Only a couple tables inside, but several outside under old oak trees so you can take in small town Florida... More

Small antique area but the family feeling and outstanding sandwiches made the café a memorable stop.

We ate Cuban sandwiches and black beans with rice outside after perusing their antiques for sale. Lovely setting, good food, beware of the honey bees who want to share your food and are persistent.

Very good lunch selection. Eat in the garden under the oak trees. They are known for the Cuban sandwich and deserts are wonderful.

Recommended by our hostess at the Herlong Mansion, we visited this cafe. The food was delicious and the owner extremely nice. My wife had a beautiful tomato stuffed with chicken salad over a bed of lettuce. I had a delicious chicken wrap with one of their selection of beers. My wife raved about her bottle of organic chardonnay which she... More

Nice Little Old Florida Cafe with good food and lots of Florida History and memorabilia. We split a Cuban Sandwich and also an order of chili and Black Beans and Rice. Also took a piece of chocolate cafe for a later dessert. Only $3.25 for a hugh slice. The cafe is located in the old Florida town of Micanopy, so... More

We had chili and salad for lunch; it was average and could have been better with a bit more creativity. The staff was small but friendly. Outdoor and indoor tables. One of the few places to eat in this charming old Florida town. We stopped here to visit the shop - Dakota, and were not disappointed in the shop; very... More

Situated in the "Old Florida" town of Micanopy, this homey cafe offers fast service, homemade food (chicken salad is excellent!) and friendly staff. Will return.
