A-OK. All changes saved Tried to order this on yelp, placed the order and it said it went through. I called the restaurant they rudely advised they dont use yelp for order any longer. I gave up that day. The next day, I decided to...order from Grub Hub. The order came when it was supposed to (delivered to my hotel). Food itself, I will mention I am from Trinidad, was good. I thought it was pretty authentic. The chicken roti was better than the veggie roti in my opinion. Good amount of food as well Dont forget to order pepper sauce. I only ordered one and needed way more!More

This little hole in the wall is serving up some of the best Caribbean food I have ever eaten. We had the curry shrimp with Rice and Peas along with a Chicken Roti with a side of steamed cabbage. Roti is one of my favorite...dishes and I have eaten it throughout the Caribbean but this was hands down the best. Even a simple dish like the steamed cabbage was seasoned with an in-house blend of spices that was wonderful. The owner is the cook and her son works the counter so this is truly a family run business. I asked and most dishes are prepared mild but they have an in-house made pepper sauce that compliments the entrees nicely. Get away from Ocean Drive or the Lincoln Rd Mall and walk down Washington st to 710 Washington and you will be in for a treat. Don't do carryout so you can enjoy the food at the peak of its flavor. Nothing fancy about the decor but the food speaks for itself. The staff of two was very friendly and service was prompt. What else could you ask for.More

Don't waste your time and money at this restaurant! The food/service is awful! I bought 2 meals to go that came up to 42.00 The shrimp curry meal that was almost 14 bucks had 6 tiny shrimps. The curry goat pieces were tough and had...absolutely no flavor..i expected at least the food to be good for the price they charge BUT what a disappointment!More

Thought I'd try this place out as there is only one other caribbean restaurant/take away in Barking. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas. The jerk chicken was lovely and succulent and boneless. I was asked if I wanted mild, medium or hot...sauce over it. I opted for the hot because I am hard-core, lol. Don't accept this unless you can handle very spicy but was ok with me. The rice n peas was fluffy and the portions were generous. This came with salad and homemade coleslaw. Bit pricey for Barking but worth it. I struggled to eat my meal in one go. Definitely worth a try and I would buy there again, and glad this has come to town.More

it arrived lukewarm, too sweet, and the rice and beans was lacking... beans! also, the chicken was way over cooked and super dry, which i thought was kind of impossible for stew chicken - i've never experienced that before. the cassava cake seemed old. the...fried plantains were dry and not soft. seriously. :'(More

After having tried various Caribbean places around the UK we wanted to try this place out after seeing it advertised on Google. We weren’t disappointed. The prices are really good for the area and portion size was very good too. The staff were very friendly...and there are some seats inside that you can chill out in or take out if prefer. There is a eat in charge but it’s to be expected and not a major problem. The food itself was excellent quality and although the menu wasn’t massive it offers enough choice for what you would want. Would return here again.More

Food cost around $16 a dish, but not the kind of food you would even feed animals and they are very misleading as well very rude customer service. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Definitely the worst restaurant I have ever been to in...my life.More

I ordered a curry chicken and a shrimp roti, very over priced and not very appetizing. Curry chicken was small, shrimp roti was wrapped in a paper sheet and wasn't very tasty. I Order deliver, a young man who work there brought us our food...when I showed him how upsetting the food looked he presume to just took a picture and said he will show it at the restaurant. I've never received a call back for how I couldn't enjoy a 50$ lunch. The food wouldn't be any better if I eat in.More

Yeah, went here last time during my Christmas holiday, found great food, spicy as I like and tasty flavour. Meet also a girl, the owner's daughter "Kavita", still even remember her name!!!! was fun and unusual food, but great experience.

We went here bc we asked the waiter at our hotel where we can get good carribbean food. He asked if we wanted an atmosphere. We said it doesn't matter, just good food. It was more!! No atmosphere, get alcohol from the liqour store next...door- and meet the family that runs this quaint delicious place. I had the chicken curry-amazing and my husband had the jerk chicken, even more amazing. We have already planned to return and can't wait..More
