I’ve spent many dinner at La Moderna’s bar, and it’s always been a good experience. Cocktails are incredible, same as really high quality Italian food! That’s explains the prices... not for every pocket. Pizza is delicious: yummy!!

Really great experience, we came at 2, really nice lunch with a good price $24 to get a 3 courses menu. Out waitresse Ana was fantastic, professionnal and give us good advice. Ask Gigi in the kitchen if you speak Italian 😉. I will definitely...come backMore

Last night I walked in this fine establishment, I was welcomed by Asia. I am personally not a big fan of writing reviews but since I had such a great especially with with the special dish black ink ravioli that my server reccomended, just made...my night. On ther hand they don't have pizza which I found a little disappointing, but since she explained to me that the restaurant are trying to focus on steak and fish I got the concept. I will be back and I won't be alone.More

Stay away from here New Year’s eve. Terrible ripoff! Only $100 and $120 options...few choices, tapas size portions. RIP-OFF !!!

We really liked the staff: Davis (manager) and Rodrigo. The food was good but slightly disappointing considering the price. Daughter had gnocchi with bolognese sauce. I had the lasagna which was good but cheese was the dominant taste- a little disappointing. Wife had chicken stuffed...with artichoke and something else which she loved. We had the lava cake for dessert but the cake part was boring. The food was not worth the prices but, overall, we had a good experience. A few small changes and all would be much improvedMore

We asked our hotel concierge for a restaurant with vegan and Gluten-free option and he sent us to Ice Box. On their menu they had ONE vegan option which was NOT Gluten-free :( But there were several other restaurants/cafes around including Dirt Cafe, Raw Cafe,...an Indian restaurant and La Moderna. La Moderna had a whole section of vegan options but only could make one of them gluten-free free (SEAWEED CICATELLI). I was happy. Gluten-free pasta. I haven’t had pasta im a long time. The only issue was I didn’t expect it to be so spicy. It was so spicy I literally had a hard time eating it. My daughter ordered gnocchi lobster and even though it was a big portion it was so good she ate it all :)More

went for dinner two nights ago with some friends and left satisfied with the experience. I really liked the pasta as well as the pizza. Service was on point as well. I would recommend this place and go back soon.

Mostly pros for this nice italian spot. Went with the wife while on vacation and we are trying 4 italian places. Nice menu, yet we went with the miami spice, which was a nice deal. I like when italian places actually have italian speakers working...on site, so nice plus. My wife went all vegan and really enjoyed the choices and flavors available. The dessert vegan panna cotta, while having decent flavor, was mostly a miss. You just can't do a panna cotta with soy milk, it needs fat. It came out pale and more jello like. I enjoyed my 3, but they had an issue with their oven, so dishes came out slow. No worries, i prefer slow to too fast. They comped us some bruschetta for the trouble. Nice bottle of barbara d'alba vino. The decor could be cosier IMO, music should be italian. I was ready to give this a 4 until later that night, when the carpaccio appetizer decided to jettison itself from my body. It was fine going down, but not a fan when it comes up. Be careful.More

Went for lunch with my kids. Great decor, good service. We ordered 1 lasagna 1 burger and 2 pasta with meat sauce. All meals were great. No complaints at all. I’d go back again

La Moderna is our go-to Italian in South Beach. It’s in a great location, at Sunset Harbour, right next to an inexpensive public parking garage. We love Nuncio, the bartender. The wait staff is excellent. But we really go for the food. There are so...many good option, and something for everyone. Great fish, pasta and pizza. Wonderful soups, great tuna tartar, and several vegan options. We can bring anyone here with us.More
