Known as Miami’s first Neapolitan Pizzeria, Fratelli La Bufala has been open for 18 years in Miami Beach’s historic South of 5th neighborhood. The restaurant sources its products from small local farms in the south of Italy. At Fratelli La Bufala, traditions are key and can be seen in the recipes, atmosphere and concept of the restaurant. The popular traditional Neapolitan pizzas are all made with fresh mozzarella with toppings ranging from artichoke hearts and ham to roasted potatoes and sausage. In addition to the selection of 18 different pizzas on the menu, the restaurant also serves traditional pastas including Lasagna, Gnocchi, Spaghetti alla Carbonara and Linguine ai Frutti di Mare.

Most of the times when I am for business in Miami I take the evening off and spend my time to go for a real nice good authentic Italian pizza. As a European traveling and work in America it is so good to get authentic Italian food and real coffee. Hope quality stays as it is. When I am in Miami I’ll come back.
Also service staff is very nice and Kind always.

This place a must when you are in MB. The pizza was delicious, and the calamari was some of the best I've had anywhere - light crispy rings of tasty goodness! The entrée portions are huge. When the calzone arrived at the table next to ours, we were all stunned by its size. The pizzas are not too big, and my husband and I easily split one along with an order of calamari and left full but not stuffed. Service was attentive and the meal was well-paced. The place was busy but we did not feel rushed at all.

We went here on a whim and I'm so glad we did as it was super food. The service was a little slow but they were extremely busy and the wine was rather pricey but OMG the pizza was simply the best I've had in years and my partner had a bolognese which he absolutely raved about. We'll be back in September when we visit.

Beer was horrible and flat, calzone had ALMOST no filling: ricotta and TWO slices of salami. Chicken Cesar had the most plain and tasteless chicken you can have and a HAIR in it. I had to ask for the bill 3 times and when they finally brought it we saw that they add 18% service charge on top. Awful experience, the worse Italian I had in a very long time.

I try pizza in 60 countries over 120 cities and this is the worst margarita pizza I have ever had. I thought it would be good with Italians everywhere and a wood oven. Nope. Pizza came out like a puddle of soup in the middle which is an absolute sin in wood fire pizza. Dough was chewy like bubble gum. 2 small basil leaves burnt to a crisp, you are supposed to put them on fresh. Ordered a large still bottle of water and there was no seal on it, probably tap water filled. Never will I return. You’ve been warned!

My hubby and I come to Miami once a year and believe it or not one of the main reasons is to eat at this restaurant. My hubby is Italian from the Naples Italy area and this restaurant makes the most authentic pizza we can find outside of Italy. The staff is wonderful also and always very friendly and attentive. They just reopened for inside dining and they have everything socially distanced properly and very clean. Constantino is the pizza chef and he makes a PERFECT PIZZA! We even have them make an extra one before we leave from dinner so we can put it in the fridge in the hotel room and have it for breakfast!!! It’s that good!!!

We were 5 adults and we ordered different dishes so we could share. We got the gnocchi, lasagna, calzone ripienone and tagliatelle alla bolognese. They were all good - but my favorite was the lasagna. It wasn't expensive - but the food is really good.

We were sat quickly and then a table (also a table for 2 like us) 5 minutes after us. They were greeted first asking what they would like to drink. They were then given water and wine before a server even came to our table. Once someone came to us he said "what do you want?" At this time we had been sitting for 9 minutes before the first time even coming to our table. (Mind you it was not busy maybe 4 tables were seated) I ordered the Contadina pizza. My husbands pasta came out and my pizza took an additional 7 minutes. It was good but did not have any peppers on it as stated in the menu. It was unfortunate that there is an 18% gratuity already added as I did not feel our server deserved it. I would have ordered more food and drinks had our server been more attentive and pleasant to us.

Everything we had was delicious and perfect. We started with the octopus salad, octopus cooked to perfection, soft not rubbery. I had carbonara that was creamy and yummy. My husband had a seafood pasta that was quite flavorful. We had the spicy sausage pizza and it was so good we ordered a second one. The crust is soft, thin, and delicious.

The pizzas was amazing, tasteful With good crust.
Lasanga also realy good.
But, The service wasent that good, We where five peaple and one lasagne We got 5 min before The pizzas, then We got 3 pizzas, and had to wait 8 more min for The last Lasangia, so when The last came in, The first had already eaten up, The pizzas were half eaten and Cold now..
They have to shape up.
The only that The straff said, was "sorry"

Right before you hit the southern point of south beach miami, an impeccable restaurant calls your name. "Fratelli," you turn because you know they think that is your name. You go in. You are not in Miami anymore. You are in Naples, Italy. Casserta, or a small town in Naples, Italy, where four ingredients can make the best pizza in the world. Julia Roberts shows this pizza in the movie "Live, Love, Learn." Great pasta, unbelievable eggplant. This place is on fire - literally and figuratively with its Coal Fired Oven from Italy. We met with Antonio, our waiter and he was wonderful - but all the staff there are so wonderful. Beautiful woman, good looking men, great ambience. A must see in South Beach, Miami.

We loved the pizza with fresh bufala mozzarella. The mixed green salad with basil dressing was so fresh and delicious. Fresh bread. Ate outside. We’ve been twice in 8 days that’s how much we love it!

the calamari at this place could be used for a sling shot. The pasta Al fruity di mare smells like rotten fish. They got for me the linguine Ala vongole. And I think the chef has no notion of salt.

The best pizza I have ever tasted! Me and my family have been coming EVERY day during our vacation in Miami Beach, something we never do ( we usually go to several different restaurants). All the items from the menu are vey good but pizzas are SUPERB! We have travelled around Italy a lot but this is the best pizza ever. Also I usually don’t write recommendations for a restaurant but this time I just had to do it. Service is also extremely FAST, you will get what you ordered very fast. Recommended from the ❤️! Go to Fratelli la Bufala, you will not regret it. Special mention to wonderful staff, very professional, always there but never aggressive ona any way, especially Ivon and Reddy!

My wife and I ate lunch at this incredibly delicious restaurant on the recommendation of Miami Beach residents. Simply put, this restaurant serves some of the best Italian food we’ve ever eaten - including restaurants in Italy. We learned that the chef is originally from Rome, while the man who makes the Napoleon-styled pizza hails from Naples. Our server named “Béa” was professional and so friendly and efficient.
While the restaurant from the exterior does not have amazing curb appeal on the corner of 5th & Washington, this restaurant offers the best Italian food by far in Miami Beach. If you are seeking high quality Italian food in Miami Beach, don’t miss it! We can recommend the Burrata as well as any of their fine pizzas, and make sure to chase it all down with Tiramisu and espresso!
